Have noticed that there is an app / mod for the Nexus One that can get the Notification LEDs to flash in succession.
Eg: if received a text (blue LED), an email (Purple LED) and a Tweet (Green LED) the Notification light would flash Blue, Purple, Green as opposed to just Blue which was first to be received.
Just a nice to have really
Cheers
I always wondered this myself I would really like this

Okay thanks, this for emails sms's etc ? just thought it was a charging light
yes its for everything, however it only appears to be orange and green and not multi-coloured like the old trackball LEDs of previous phones
i think that with the first roms will be also possible to modify the speed and the colour of the led..
Yeah hopefully, hope to see the roms comming, ordering my legend tomorrow
yeah..the notification light either is in Orange or in Green....
having a great experience on it..
there is an usefull app named Blink where you can set the frequency, events and timing etc.. of the LED notifications. The color setting of Blink don't work on the legend, only red and green unfortunately.
When there is a message (text, email, voicemail) the notification LED blinks green.
When there is a missed call, the LED blinks blue.
Other applications also use the LED (eg. Craigsnotifi blinks the LED purple) etc.
When there are multiple notifications, why is it that the notification status LED only blinks one color.
Is there a way to set it so that it blinks all the colors (in sequence) for what you need to be notified? If I have an email and missed a call, have the LED blink green then blue, and then repeat.
If there are other notifications to be displayed, add that color of blink as well.
Has an app that does this been done?
hello there,
depending on your os version you should take a look at MissedCall...
http://www.androlib.com/android.application.anno-android-missedcalldroid-impi.aspx
Running 2.1 on a G1.
Thanks for the link to MissedCall.
Checked out MissedCall, but it's not quite what I'm looking for.
I would also be interested to see all ongoing notifications on the led, not just the last one.... Missed call seems to only display the last event also...
The green LED in the top right, when and when isn't it supposed to light up. When i first got it, it was lit always, now it only lights when i get a text
Mine lights up when I get texts, emails, missed calls, Bluetooth connection, and when fully charged. It only stays lit green continuously when it is fully charged.
Steady Green = Phone is connected to charger and battery charge is 85% - 100%
Blinking Green = Notification (Email, SMS, Missed Call, .. etc)
If you are doubtful or there's anything wrong, you probably need to remove any installed LED color apps (ex. Light flow, LED me know, .. )

Or you can use LightFlow and screw with all of the different colors that LED has to offer.
I have found Blue, Red, Purple, Green, Orange, and Multi-Color. You can make almost any application/event do any color you want, at least that's how it is with the Pro version.
My wife's nexus 4 has a constant solid green led on. Tried to power down and charge. No luck.
What does a solid green led mean?
No light flow is/was not installed

mine goes green with a Google Voice notification. I think the LED light is an option in the settings
I"m using Pure Nexus and it allows me to set custom LED notification colors. I'm swiping all over the place and can not get the LED notification to turn green, the closest it gets is blue or yellow, no green in between. Anyone have a working HEX code for green?

#33FF00 seems green enough to me?
I mean it's green on the screen but the LED can't display it. It's just yellow.
Edit I got it, it's 00ff00. Copied it from the default her code for a full battery from another setting.
