Clockwork Touch help.. - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok, this is a really dumb on. We can't pull the battery. I hit the wrong button and am stuck on
"Sideload started"
Now send the package you want to apply to the device with the adb sideload <filename>
The issue is, I went into this menu option by accident.. how do I go BACK??
Please help as I am just sitting here waiting for battery to die.. but it was at almost 70%
thanks

when i run adb devices.. this is the output:
C:\android-sdk-windows\tools>adb devices
List of devices attached
003ea1ff8b8db815 host
I was thinking I could try a simple adb reboot but I get an:
error: closed

Hold down power for 10 seconds. When your phone reboots hold down vol down. That should take you to the boot loader. Reboot to recovery from there.
Also, this should be in Q&A.

You're in the wrong section but to answer your question hold the power button until it powers off then renter recovery by holding vol down and power.

Press/hold power button and then try again. Backing your way out of sideload mode won't have any ill effects.
Edit: today is the day for simultaneous posts it seems...

btw METAMORPH WORKS!!

YOU MAY NEED THE NEW OTA (can someone confirm) i know this kinda belongs in the theme section but.... it works will post pics
here is one that i found that worked: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=752088
when it tells you to reboot click yes! It does a soft boot so the theme stays.
requires temproot. I found that many Nexus one themes work

Which rom are you now?
If it's custom then try pressing and holding power button, it may work..
If stock... No way then..
I think you have to reset your phone..
Yup like akash told I guess your last resort is a factory data reset!
So I have these instructions here from a person I can't remember. But here is a quote of his/her post:
Do you have usb debugging on you device? If yes, download android sdk and run those commands:
adb -d shell
sqlite3 data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db
update system set value=0 where name=’lock_pattern_autolock’;
.exit
exit
adb reboot
or
adb shell rm /data/system/gesture.key
exit
adb reboot
If you dont have, i think a factory reset is needed :/
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Try that.
No need of activation of data connection
When u enter ur
Mail and passord
Ur phone opens normally
And asks to change your lock screen pattern

i like it besides the random last part that's red.. which i don't know what its about
I love it! However, to this day I still don't understand why certain boot animations cause the boot to freeze. Which is a problem I unfortunately have with this boot animation.
Looks nice!! Can you make one with the adventure time characters? .!!

long-press power button + volume up + volume down until it shutdown... after that reboot immediately in recovery and connect your phone to a pc..
Copy the stock bootanim inside platform tools folder on your pc or where you have adb and other tools
download the boot from here
http://d-h.st/4kc
Open a terminal in platform-tools folder
in recovery select install zip from sideload..
and sideload the bootanimation
Code:
adb sideload kitkat_Bootanimation.zip
it will flash the stock bootanim, reboot when finished and you will be able to boot your phone

A way to unlock hardbricked Meizu Pro 5 ?

Hi,
I've hard bricked my Pro 5. No recovery access, no boot to rom, locked bootloader. After many search i see this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/meizu-pro-5/how-to/meizu-customer-service-flash-tools-save-t3447678, but this is bull-****.
I test many manipulations to get something on my phone other than "Bootloader, Locked".
So i dicovered this : Press and holp Vol + and Vol - and press one time power button. We get this :
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After research about this, we get this :
http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f777/galexy-s6-exynos-7420-dead-1975230/#post12369382
And this :

Possible way to unlock hardbricked Pro 5 ?
Same way exist for Qualcomm Processor : http://www.androidbrick.com/unbrick...-have-the-right-kind-of-rom-qhsusb_dload_edl/
Subscribed, i do also have a spare "bricked" device

Hey there. Got the same problem. Tried everything. Nothing happens. Have you got your problem solved yet?
The same problem
Sent from my PRO 5 using Tapatalk
Only way to solve this is taking the phone to technical service. Done it myself. Be careful tought, they will try to make you change the entire mother board (280€), but if you insist they will "find a way" to install the correct software in your phone and leave it as if it was new
it is possible to recovery via dongle ... but sn and imei can be lost
Try this thread.

Try this thread; it worked perfectly for me.

Yes
It's really strange... Have you unlocked the bootloader?
Yes " Device State - Unlocked "
It's due to the filename being too long. I found a different fastboot which allowed long filenames. Rename it to one letter like r.img or something and see if it works.
Had exact the same problem under Linux
People mention to change to another USB port but that did not help
What helped... if all stuff is correctly installed (adb, root rights, etc.)
1. Reboot into the bootloader (even if you are in already)
adb reboot bootloader
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
2. Then directly (use the arrow up key to really be fast enough) send the command for flashing (my file was called twrp.img)
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
If this doesn't work you could try (under Linux) to write a little script with just the two above commands or try
adb reboot bootloader && fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
It seems to be a timing problem... One might need to play around with the time between this two commands. E.g. wait until the bootloader screen is on the phone and directly issue the flash command. Sorry after it worked for me I did not bother to investigate it in more detail.
