I've tried unistalling and re-installing Launcher pro but I don't get the option to select TW or LP when i hit the home key. I forced TW to stop and cleared data but is still goes back to TW when pressing home.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Restart the device.

Hurrah!! thanks.. all working now
If you press the home button you should have a choice to pick which launcher you want to use.

Key word: should. The whole point of this thread is that hitting the home key didn't give the option like it should have.
You could also go into app setting under default launcher and turn tw asus default off.
Happened to me before.

Go into your apps, hit the menu button, choose edit, find what other three apps you want and drag. Them into the bottom bar, hit menu and selete save.
And next time questions go in q&a.
Go into the app drawer, click menu, edit. Move whichever apps you want into the dock.

Maybe it is a stupid question, but suddenly I lost the software buttons on the bottom of the home. Is there a way to restore them?
Thanks

what launcher are you using? ...
you need to use your launcher menu> First you may need to long press the phone , contacts and message apps to bring them to the desktop, than use edit to place them in the Dock ( will depend on launcher and settings will vary according to their menu)
If too confusing just download a different launcher from play store and use it
This is stock Touchwiz, right? Looks like it, so I'll assume so...
Go into Applications.
You should see the icons for Phone/Contacts/Applications along with your other apps.
Press the menu button, and click edit. Now you should be able to move the icons around.
Drag the phone/contacts/messages icon down to the dock. It should drop there, and then you'll have your shortcuts back.

Fun tweek. The only bad thing is, like it was already mentioned, you won't be able to use that button to wake the device from stand by... gotta be careful not to make all buttons virtual
Enviado desde mi LG-P500 usando Tapatalk 2
I've used my buttons so much(mostly Power, Home and Back), that now I'm using Search to wake the phone and Screen Off and Lock app to put it to sleep. Just trying to save the buttons a little bit, the Power one is already a bit finicky.
Also using Quick Boot for power off, reboot, recovery; basically, the only time I use my Power button is when I turn the phone on.
