[Q] Hyp ROM features to other custom rom - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

u want to export some features of hyperion rom to other rom that i want to use, is it possible?
if it is possible, what certain files do i need to extract from hyperion rom to get the following features:
1. adblock
2. internet tweaks
thanks.
PS: i want them for the rom Beats with Sense.
~ °Mobile Mode° ~

Simply take these files and copy them to your rom
1. system/etc/hosts -> rw-r--r--
2. system/etc/init.d/netforks and netbuffer tick all permissions

another way to get it
if you delete any app in future just open the rom file i.e. rom.zip then goto system\apps\. In that location you can find all apps which comes on rom. so extract the required file and send to sdcard and use rootexplorer to push into system\apps and fix permission & restart to make it work!!!
Don't forget to press THANKS button

How to port a ROM's lidroid toggles and status bar to another ROM?

I want to port the lidroid toggles from Simplicity to USSRv7. How would I do this? I have the lidroid res, system ui, and framework res apks.
Sent from my GT-P3110 using xda app-developers app
Change the file extension of lidriod-res.apk to zip
Unzip lidriod-res.zip
goto res/drawable-hdpi
Copy the toggles pngs only
Past them to your unzipped res/drawable-hdpi
zip back up and change extention back to apk
put in flashable zip and flash with system mounted
I just replaced my lidroidres.apk with the one from the ROM I wanted and it worked! Thanks though

Yes just replace lidroid-res.apk to change toggles if your rom uses lidriod in its ui
Any problems just unzip the lidroid-res.apk of the toggles you want & past them into one from your rom

.. okay .. try to find "System App Installer" in market/play store then Pick the system app of the ROM you want to install then install it and woaLa ! The app you picked is on ur System app now !
Note:Backup ur system app before you replace it incase of errors ..
Some app gives FC after the force installation Framework is the main reason why app gives FC .. Some phones need to restart to enable system app... and System app installer Needs a Root Permission. your phone must be rooted.
And Note again. I am not responsible in any Damage in your phone. Im just sharing my opinion.. By the way Press Thanks if it works

I really dont know what rom your using , AHA, and here's the information about how Bootanimation.zip can be placed in /system/media with custom roms or in or /data/local with stock roms with custom kernels as Battery Extender, Cf-root...
So, mount system (R/W) and paste bootanimation.zip in system/media/ or in in /data/local/ and set the correct permissions rw--r--r-- (if it doesn't work set rwxrwxrwx as permissions , and i hope someone willing to help you with this problem.Have a nice day.
