[ROM][UNOFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 7.1-cooper-KANG-RC1 Android 2.3.7 (upd: 12.10.2011)

ROM (for flashing from stock or other custom ROMs): cm-7.1.0-RC1-Cooper-KANG-10.10.11-Grif_07.zip
ROM (for updating from CyanogenMod-7.1.0-Cooper-KANG-Beta1 or Beta2): cm-7.1.0-RC1-Cooper-KANG-10.10.11-Grif_07_update.zip (no need wipe, all your data will be saved, but wipe dalvik cache is necessary)
What new in RC1 build:
- full odexed ROM (more performance, more free space on \data);
- new kernel from ketut;
- no more accidentally rejected calls by pressing "Back" button (function disabled);
- FM Radio app's graphics bug fixed;
- GoogleApps updated to 28.08.2011 version (except Market);
- cifs.ko, tun.ko, zram.ko modules updated;
- lights.cooper.so lib updates;
- noise suppression in call enabled.
Fixes (flash from recovery):
cm-7.1.0-RC1-Fix1-12.10.11-Grif_07.zip
Fixed in cm-7.1.0-RC1-Fix1-12.10.11:
- fixed kernel from ketut, without oc (if you want overclocking, you need reflesh oc-kernel);
- updated cifs.ko, tun.ko, zram.ko modules;
- 640x480 videorecording, better sound quality in video (thanks a lot to ya.AVG from 4pda.ru).

How to install:
You need a stock or custom rom with Android 2.3.*
You need ClockWorkMod4 or ClockWorkMod5 installed (I recommend this recovery)
Copy cm-7.1.0-RC1-Cooper-KANG-10.10.11-Grif_07.zip on SDcard
Reboot into ClockWorkMod, wipe data/factory reset. If you using BehradGH CyanoAce, you need format /system in CWM before flashing this rom .
Flash cm-7.1.0-RC1-Cooper-KANG-10.10.11-Grif_07.zip from recovery
Reboot your phone (first boot will take some time)

Wi-Fi works fine, but when you turn it ON you can`t see all points, as on stock FW. You must go to the Wireless setting and insert your password there.

I also wanted to release ROM, but after getting camera to work , fixing root and new recovery, but you were first.

is the functionality of all hardware and software working?

I got many errors when compiling ... some libraries were missing. This is my first experience in Android compiling. ) And kernel.org does not work, had to look Android source at the third-party resources. Perhaps the most problems because of this. I will be very happy if you fix these bugs and release you ROM. Thanks to you for your configs.

Nik Project X v4.1 Best Sense 4 Rom so far

This newly uploaded sense 4 Rom worth trying and use as daily driver.
Really fast and smooth.
Finally a sense 4 Rom with working camera in 8mpix and without flash.

Anyone has tried this rom and give some user review here.

I'm already on s4 using Neo rom for my daily driver, but going to try this one also, i see very good feedback

Very goog rom
It's one of the best Sense 4 rom I've tested.
Camcorder and camera are full functionable, bat is good, sense is smooth.
The only things is that it's not a full sense 4 rom. Location is not complete, some widgets are not available...

Blackout v3 is based on Sense 3.6, though you may mean something else by based on. burst mode works on Virtuous Infinity though it clicks more than it takes pictures. It still works. =) Dunno if that is something you have to have to have. If so VI may be worth a look.

Change from Sabsa v3 to this rom with V6 script and i'm happy with it.... smooth and fast....

I tried Nik Project X v4.1 ROM and its great but i have two problems...
two time in ten days of use my lock ring is stuck..not responding and one time after restart i have grafic glitch...leathers and icons was not readible.
Otherwise great rom.:good:
Change to Sabsa and i see no difrence but Nik ProjecktX i like better.
Now using XxXPachaXxX NERO XL Rom (no bugs so far)

I love this rom because of JB animations, only think that doesn't work for me is WiFi tethering.

I check the official forum.And I didnt find MIUI v4 JB 2.9.20-version,but WIUI v4 JB 2.9.20.

I check the update of MIUI.It wouldnt have a 2.9.20,as its version number is named by the date.
So it would be 2.10.XX if it release a new version.
And I saw it has a 2.9.29 of development version and 2.9.14 of stable version.

Use Aero control app it's pretty sleek

make sure that you are using a touchwiz based rom running lollipop or else it will not work!

Idk about the reboot part because I never got the reboot try wiping cache and dalvik and see whether it happens or not

I flashed the Kernel but i have a small problem, its has better performance but then the battery is draining a little faster :'( , i didnt use my phone for 40 minutes that time when i checked its was 48% i closed all apps and background processes as i usually do, then after 40 mins i checked my phone and it was 34% . Do you experience this issue, please fix it, or did i do something wrong while flashing the kernel. Here is what i did to flash it -> i wiped Cache/Dalvik Cache then flashed the kernel. (Using TWRP 2.8.)

I just charged the phone , I'll see how the battery goes on my side

Do keep in mind that location drains a lot of battery ( especially if set to high accuracy )

i flashed this kernel and security notice keeps on popping up on my notifications.
This is what it says: "Unauthorized actions have been detected. Restart your device to undo any unauthorized changes."
I tried restarting but it only sent me to recovery and when I reboot, nothing actually happened. The security notice continues to pop out.
I believe this is related to Knox but when I opened SuperSU, there's no prompt to disable Knox. I want to disable the security notifications. What do I do now?

need able set gpu freq
asad007 i changed min frequency to 1.6 ghz but still laggy ui. i am thinking gpu running low frequency. if able set gpu frequency will be more smooth. for example now i am using aurora port android 4.4.4 with maxfour 14 kernel. i set governor interactive and i set gpu min freq 480 mhz with stweaks, my phone is really flying.

i know this kernel for lollipop. because i tried your kernel with aurora port 5.0.1 v6.1. i said those for example. interactive governor, gpu freq bla bla. that is i saw gpu running low freq and cpu dont use 1.6 freq in daily use. these are important things for performance. i want set cpu governor(for example interactive, smarthass) and gpu freq with you kernel :good: best regards

Much better responsibility of the system, especially opening apps. Battery usage seems to be the same, but its now still to early to sum up.

On DotOS-Extended deep sleep is shown in brackets.

I can use this kernel on xiaomi. EU rom?

Please add support for MIUI roms, many people use MIUI or MIUI based roms like xiaomi.eu and this phone dont have many support... we need at least 1 valid kernel for all roms.
