watching flash video streaming the sleepmode kicks in.. guess this is due to no flash support.. but it does still work.. is there any kernel or tweak that will override this? it works just fine until you reboot and all the apps are optimized after initially flashing a rom....

I doubt this has anything to do with the update, but i just realized flash enables sites work (maybe I never realized this before). For example, if i go to y8.com, flash enabled games work. Is this normal?

the phones come with whats known as flash light there are few websites that haven't been updated to flash 10 like youtube works just fine but try hulu doesn't work flash 10 doesn't work till froyo...i know bummer

i haven't but thanks for link. But 2012-01-04 version is bad.. battery life is VERY BAD... with older kernel overnight i was losing about 2% of battery, with 2012-01-04 - 22%
EDIT: I just tested this version and i don't see nothing new.. sound calling quality still garbage.. Video recording works, but sound is ****. bitrate we can make better with xml file, i know, but there is some other sound noices.

For some reason I cant install this rom. I boot in to CWM 5.0.2.7 and wipe data. Then when I start install it says:
Finding update package
Opening update package
And after that the screen flash one time and I am back in CWM main screen.
I have checked MD5 for both recovery.img and the zip file.

Try the:
1. boot recovery option from advanced settings
2. then factory reset, clear caches/dalvic
3. boot recovery again
4. and then try to install.
Worked for me to the same problem.
this version for 2.3.5 official update. if you are still on 2.2 it doesnt work

I have tried both the 7/1/12 rom and the 22/11/11 rom for the u8800
The 22/11 version has good call quality, but has poor speaker quality and cannot record video (it just freezes) - this is the rom i use now.
the 7/1 version can record video, but has bad call quality and speaker quality.
Both roms - after a little use - the rotation/proximity sensors stop working and only start working after a reboot.
The kernel in the 22/11 version seems to be geno#4 and in the later version geno#2 ?
I have enabled vsync which seems to help also.
On the plus side, they are by far the quickest and smoothest roms for the u8800, and trust me i have tried them all, everything seems to load very quickly and mp4 video playback is not corrupt as in previous cm7 roms. Hopefully they will be updated to remove the little bugs )
7/1 Version rotation works fine for me, haven't had problems since running rom for 50 hours.

Since i have flashed the Lolipop Firmware i habe Problems with the Video playback on my N9005 32GB.
Everytime i played a Video like on Youtube or Facebook the Video freeze and the Sound Plays keep going normaly. After i press pause and return on 10sec less the video still working but in ca. 10sec return the Problem.
I doed everyting i know, reflash (clean), other Rom, delete data and cache, reinstall the apps - everything. I dont know why, but im Still the only with the Problem.
Btw. On kitkat 4.4.2 < its working lile a charm.
You're not alone with this problem. I just updated to AryaMod + LeanKernel and have the same problems + crash / restarts from time to time.

It WORKS!
Just flash the BOB6 with Odin with Auto Reboot off and go manually after flash in the Download Menu and flash the Modem twice.
(You can extract the .md5 with WinRAR to geht the modem for CSC) you must check the baseband version it should be BOA1, if it doesnt work so flash it again.

Hi guys, I'm getting bugs while trying to customize my stock ROM.
It uses to get stuck when flashing things like: Magisk, XTREMEMusic, etc.
After rooting with SuperSU fix, sometimes boot, sometimes don't. Depends on how many changes I've made in the system partition before rebooting.
Any hints on this? In custom ROMs it works perfectly, but audio quality is really horrible. I can even hear little clicks and delays in the output, not forgetting the noise and weird sounds coming from the CPU directly to the output.
Maybe because of dm-verity? If yes, how can I disable it or get a custom kernel to work in the stock ROM? Squid kernel works but gets the video card laggy and the audio output stuttered all the time.

I am on Stock Nougat (Rooted, EX Kernel) whenever I try to use video recording it doesn't work & I get a toast msg that "Cannot start video capture. Another app may be using the mic. Have tried some fixes but nothing seems to be working
Try to factory reset and if that does not solve your problem, revert to stock kernel. It might be due to the EX kernel and root.
