I cannot install ANY rom, simply device denies all - Defy Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Listen, I can read fine and understand instruction.
the phone is rooted but each time I try to install a ROM it gives me a new error, the last one was library cannot found.
I tried about 10 different roms from here, each failed. Either its stuck on boot screen or doesnt let me pass boot menu no matter what.
I guess I got the devils phone.
Any suggestions?

I don't know why your phone is crazy, but maybe flashing the SBF again will help?

Which SBF? the rom's? I tried, same BS everytime.
I just use this ****ty looking 2.3.6 I just want the phone to look nicer cuz I hate that too-androidish look.
And a nice smooth scrolling in the menu will be nice aswell.

i'm really sorry to ask and i dont mean to offend you but we need a starting point:
- did you try to install zip via stock recovery perhaps
- did you install 2ndinit?
- defy or defy+?
- did you wipe/factory reset before flashong the zip?
- do you maybe have bl7 kernel?
actually, sounds really bad but hopefully there is a way for you!

Please list the exact steps you followed to root and get a recovery and also mention what you did in recovery.. don't worry, we will help you as much as we can
And also list some of the roms you tried flashing..

Yes
Yes
Defy+
Yes
I have 2.3.6 I'm not sure what BL7 is

I'm not a pro. But first I'd like you to
- install 2ndinit again
- reboot and press Vol-Down when the blue light appears
- use custom recovery do install your preferred custom ROM. (only use the ones for defy+)
you can NOT install custom roms from stock recovery!

Should I install a specific version of 2ndinit Defy? Can you give me the program, I'm confused what to download.
What do you mean stock recovery?
And another Q: If I was to successfully flash a rom, should I use GB or flash to JB?

stock recovery = shut down > power + vol-down
custom recovery = reboot > vol-down when blue light
no specific 2ndinit. just use the one that is mentioned in FAQ or howto install...
or here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1032212
If you don't know the difference between stock and custom recovery you might want to start reading here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216982
...and might want to rethink your first sentence:

I have a few more Q:
Do I need to upgrade my phone to 4.1.2 before flashing a ROM that is 4.1.2 or will that be the upgrade?
Which ROM do you suggest for me use because I am not very decisive about it.
What do I need to do for this ROM to work for me? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1033654
I have GB 3.2.6 rooted with DFP 231

1. no. there is no official 4.1.2 for defy.
2. i would recommend cm7.
use a version that is for the defyplus and you dont have anything to prepare more than you will find in the howto's.
check this thread for cm7 builds: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1458729

Listen to this. It is not Motorola's fault that you have soft bricked your device. It is entirely your fault. Hundreds of other guys have successfully flashed their device with the ROM of their choice and are having no problems. Maybe you should read threads before trying to flash ROMs. If you do not know the basics of rooting and modding android, you should not attempt to do it. And if you have flashed your device without doing the neccessary homework, please do not expect help from the community. Please educate yourself to the required level before attempting to do such things. There are several well written and comprehensive guides and tutorials on the cyanogen wiki as well as here on xda which can answer all your questions for sure. For your own sake, please read them. Your posts in this thread highlight your severe lack of rudimentary knowledge about android. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, because everyone was like that at some point. BUT, we read and we read and if we didn't understand, we read some more!
Please understand that this is a community where we cannot help you if you do not help yourself. I'm sorry to to tell you this, but you are being a jerk by criticising Moto and whining that things aren't working when it is you who has done things in the incorrect manner. So stop being a n00b, stop whining, go read some threads ( ALL THE STICKY ONES, MINIMUM ! AS WELL AS THE ONES ON THE CYANOGENMOD WIKI ! ) and educate yourself. Just because your friend has modded his device does not mean that you can too.It requires a certain level of expertise which can be easily gained, provided that you are ready to be an eager learner. Remember this, TO GET GOOD REPLIES, YOU HAVE TO ASK GOOD QUESTIONS.
Get rid of the attitude, --- learn the basics --- and then come back. If you are still having a genuine problem, then we will help you.
PS: You mentioned that you are going to flash using RSD lite. PLEASE flash the appropriate SBF file. If you flash the wrong SBF, it can lead to some serious problems. Choose wisely. And if you make ****s in that too, please do not start a new thread, refer to the pre-existing help threads. Good luck.
And please do not ask for the links to the above mentioned threads, use the search function and your common sense.

I've read well over 30 topics here ENTIRELY and none helped, I've done everything according to the guides, simply when I start to boot my device after a ROM flashing it has a new problem, I just gave up on motorola, tomorrow I'm going to return this piece of rubbish and get myself a SGS2 Because I've had enough of Motorola.
Thanks and no thanks to all, I've had enough of this rubbish.

good luck with your new device.

Well then..

Okay, wish you better luck with your SGS2, try harder with it.. And please don't call the Defy a piece of rubbish because it is a lovely phone, infact I don't know any other device which can boot custom kernels on a locked bootloader
And if you manage to brick the SGS2 also, perhaps it's best that you get an iPhone next time.

For me it was a case of trying a darky's rom, realising how it all worked, THEN using the kitchen, I cooked roms with the features I liked and flashed them, tested them for looks etc and then decided that a stock rom with a nice theme was my way, I am now learning to make my own packages up
Try the one you selected, if it stinks, then flash another
I store ALL my contacts in google, then I have no issue with contacts, as soon as am happy, I sign in and down they come
I have tested and used titanium and mybackup for the apps, but end up installing from new each time as I change my mind
U can also look at mine.
before you proceed, you shoud know how to fix things when they are in the worst case scenario.

Agree that's the whole key to flashing roms understand what you are doing Read the stickies and FAQs . Read the instructions with the rom .
Dont flash until you know your path to recovery .
Have a read of a number posts if multiple help i broke my phone posts all use the same rom developer then for a newbie it makes sense to steer clear of that rom .
Its not hard the hard part comes from not bothering to read .
Suggest build your own at the rom kitchen .

[GUIDE] The latest guide to xperia x8 roms and mods

UPDATED: Saturday, February, 25th 2012
DISCLAMER:
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO YOUR PHONE IF YOU FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS: THOSE INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE MENTIONED ARE WHAT WORKED FOR ME AND OTHER USERS> and when you read this thread, dont just read half or parts of it, read it properly, form start to finish!Hi there dear reader welcome to my guide with new questions new roms and much much more things. It's The latest guide to roms and mods for the x8!!1. we do not accept trolling here. i do not want a flame war here.
2. these mainly benefits me and other rom testers ect.
3.click here for my FAQ that gets updated every week
right onto the guide iitself.
RootingRooting your phone is what you need to do before you install custom roms, modules, and kernels. Rooting means you have superuser access to your phone. a bit like a special admin on a computer. having superuser rights means you also have the power to change you system stuff, delete a system app, add modifications and so on. if you wish to root your phone then click here
great, you'v rooted your phone i hope, now for the fun stuff...
Basebands and kernelsI know that many people have baseband 006. you cant install roms with your baseband at 006 so you will have to change it to 015. unless your phone already has 015. for the baseband collection thread clickthis
i have also found a thread with a custom kernel. its linuxdx by doixanh. for the thread click here
Also a guide on building a kernel. click here for that
Roms:welcome to the rom part of this thread. custom roms are custom android versions, that can easily be modified and customized, they are more than just your average android. most of them are based on cm6 or cm7 or cm6 mini.
here are a couple of gingerbread roms i have found and tested.
gingerbread roms:Gingercruzt by frogy furnetal.
Gingerdx by doixanh
minicm7
froyo roms
froyo pro by XDA-RK
Froyobread by doixanh
sense roms by ratch
how to install custom roms:Now, custom roms are actually quite easy to install. as long as you follow the instructions bellow.
1. copy the rom to your sd card. no subfolder just the normal folder on its own on the sdcard.
2.boot into xrecovery (for more about recoveries click here, its my FAQ you will find info there
3.go to install custom .zip
it should come up with a load of folders you have on your phone. go to the bottom where you will find your rom and choose that.
4. install it and wait...
5. once installed, do a full wipe before rebooting or you could get stuck on rebooting.
5. your done!
Modifications.Right now on to the mods.
some people want dual touch or pinch to zoom for their phones.
well, guess what, you can.
if you have cypress chip on your phone (real dual touch) click here
If you have synaptics (fake pinch to zoom) then click here
If you want to overclock your phone then click here
If you want linuxdx then click Here
how to install linuxdx (and other kernels)I do have a thread about bootloaders and kernels but since i put it in my modifactions section i decided to put a TuT:
grab flashtool 2.9.1 (hard to get hold of but it is the only flashtool that works with flashing kernels, i do have it and i have flashed linuxdx v004 and alfs kernel v05 so i will load up the download file for flashtool 2.9.1)(click here to download flashtool 2.9.1 move linuxdx v004 .ftf to flashootl/firmwares
and open x10flashtool (works with x8 dont worry) click flash and choose file. then follow the onscreen instructions... (plug in x8 whilst holding back button, wait for a few minutes as some coding will show up on the computer screen, then it will say its done and you can disconnect your phone) once completed rebbot phone and enjoy!!!YOU MUST HAVE AN UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER TO LOAD CUSTOM KERNELS!
Recently asked questions!
Hello guys! i decided to update my thread and tell you about more recently asked questions:
How to unlock bootloader:
Answer: There is this thing called search bar, use it because there is more than just 2 threads about unlocking bootloader, actually there is a about 5
Why do i get a hard brick after unlocking my phones bootloader?
Answer: Check your date on the back of the phone: It should have a date such as 11w28 etc. If it is 11w32 and above, then stay away from the bootloader, it will only end up in tears. Many threads about this too, use the search button
Can we run IOS on our x8?
Answer: Are you crazy? check my post here for more. If your thinking of porting it or anything (not that it will ever happen )
if you have anymore things you want me to add, then post a reply saying so.
also check out my FAQ
this will be updated every week.

Ace Think Tank [Noob friendly - softbricks, bootloops, edify, etc]

If you are serious about Android then be prepared to read - that is the one thing which will separate you from the average user.
To get you started you will need to know a few basics before you can start contributing to a community which has dedicated themselves in bringing better Operating Systems (Roms) to our phones. By knowing these basic steps you will be able to help iron out bugs from whatever Rom you have decided to keep on your phone and thus, improving your own user experience.
If you are completely new to this then you should read Glevitan's Starter Guide. It contains everything you need to know and it is a mandatory prerequisite before you can post in this thread seaking help.
Now that you have read and understood some of the terminology and how to recover from possible issues, you can root your phone with the A high-level DHD/Inspire manual S-OFF hack concept for advanced users [NOTE: The AAHK HAS BEEN RETIRED FOR NOOBS. IT IS FOR ADVANCE USERS ONLY. REFER TO THIS STICKY INSTEAD [How to] ROOT without the Hack Kit] Even if you do encounter issues, knowing the terminology, what you did and what went wrong will help communicating your issue so we can find a way to solve it. If you read the starter guide you should know that we don't recommend using HTC dev to unlock your bootloader. However, if you did go this route you can read this helpful guide: [NOOB] Flashing a custom ROM & getting it to boot IF bootloader is htcdev unlocked. And finally, our own resident and esteemed Glevitan is working on a tool to make it easier for you all. [ROOT] [TOOL] Easy Ace Root Tool
After having spent some time in the XDA threads reading a lot more than what you should post, you will have realized that almost any question you could possibly think about has already been asked over a dozen times and why so many emphasize the importance of searching for your answer first. You would also come to realize what are the benefits of setting up ADB. Among one of ADB (Android debug Bridge - [GUIDE] ADB - Usage, Tips, Tricks and More! and [GUIDE]ADB Workshop and Guide for everyone) uses is creating logcats. These logcats help developers finding what is causing a bug and how to fix it. This is a quick [Tutorial] How To Logcat. However, this quick tutorial will only help you get started. Keep in mind that apps like aLogcat or Catlog could shorten important output from the log. Another one: Learn to logcat like a Pro!
To be able to help developers create a better user experience for us, we need to create a bug report. The reason why we first need to search the forum is to avoid confusing the developer by cluttering the thread with repeated reports, of bugs and questions which as mentioned earlier, most likely have already been asked. To have a better understanding of the different instances we can create logs, then have a look at: [TUT]Report a bug I do believe this can not be emphasized enough and thus, what better way than reading it from existz own words.
Making your own Android Rom: Some advice..

ABSTRACT
The present document pretends to guide the noobs and not so noobs in their flashing / modding / theming way. It covers what the team thought is the basic stuff you should be in knowledge of and may be the most helpful. Any suggestions about the contents or stuff that you think should be included are welcomed, just let us know.
Guide Index
1.Basic Stuff: In this section you will find the common language that is related to Android / HTC Ace devices. This is fundamental for you to understand how things work.
2.Rooting: THIS IS OUT OF SERVICE...CHECK THE UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER TOOL IN PARAGRAPH 4
3.Fixing a messed bootloader: You are not good at listening advices or reading for comprehension. You flashed a froyo RUU or hboot in your GB shipped device? Thank God attn1 was around. This is the Hboot fix for you. All credits go for the Hack Kit Channel devs. I have not done anything but put it here
4.HTCDEV tool: So far, this is the best and only way to do the flashing stuff....
5.Unrooting: In case you need to take your phone to the service centre or lost your mind and want the stock rom back (is there anybody that actually does? :cyclops ) you will find everything you need to know here.
6.Flashing roms: The right steps to flash successfully a custom rom…you can´t miss it. If you do, then you haven´t read carefully.
7.Doing / Restoring a nandroid backup: In case you mess it or you don't like what you get on a new rom, a nand backup is what will save your A**. Follow the path and you will see the light at the end of the tunnel.
8.Radio / RILs: All the radio / RILs related issues, follow this or you will regret it!!
9.Kernels: Everything you always wanted to know about kernels but you didn't dare to ask. Links on line now..:silly:
10.Trouble shooting: I guess this will be the most visited section of the guide. OF COURSE YOU DIDN´T READ THE ABOVE. NOW YOU ARE HERE BUDDY FIX YOURSELF A GOOD READ
11.Customization: For those who would like to start customizing your devices, here you will find a good point of start but THIS IS JUST THE BEGUINNING [/QUOTE]
12.Battery drain issues: I HAVE FLASHED A NEW ROM AND MY BATTERY IS DRAINING WAY TO FASSSSSST!. Well that could be normal, just read and learn before you run out of battery...lol

FAQ & Notice
FAQ :
What Is the Best Battery,Performance GB/ICS/JB ROM?
There is no best ROM, the opinion of each ROM is different from one person to the other, it is subjective.
Is there a recommended Radio for ROM x?
There isn't a recommended radio for any ROM, since the Radio depends where you live, it is best to test each one for a few days to see which one works best for you.
Can I Flash RIL For AOSP ROM?
No, the RIL is sense based ROM,AOSP RIL is provided in the ROM
How Can I Boot in Recovery/Bootloader if My Volume Rocker is Broken?
You must setup adb and then the command:
adb reboot recovery/bootloader
Why Don't We Have Any OFFICIAL CM9 ROM?
Because the CM team always makes everything work (camera, camcorder, etc) and since we don't have the kernel 3.0 source, there isn't any OFFICIAL CM ROM from them.
Is There Any Official Rooted Sense 3.0 ROM?
Yes, There it is
Notice when Posting On the Dev Thread :
Please Read the First Post, It Usually Stated What's Working and Not Working
Don't Post Any THANKS, just use the thanks button
Don't Even Ask ETA of the ROM, the ROM will update when it's ready
Full Wipe Is Recommended when Updating the ROM, but also can try it without (this is basic, even if it's not stated on 1st post)
ADB is easy, very simple to use. Its the CLI interface that most cannot get used to and are afraid of.
A great XDA guide/overview on ADB here. --> [GUIDE] ADB - Usage, Tips, Tricks and More!
After a full wipe including sd card, to restore a backup mount sd card to pc, create the folder "clockworkmod/backup" place backup there - unmount, flash.
Is there a way to flash a backup using adb? If yes, do the folders need to be created or not and what would the command be? I couldn't find an answer for that.
Edit: Answer is no. Why? I have no clue.

@hdorius - what do you know to do? Didn't you port paranoidandroid? The faq's look good but needs some editing/correction. Where are you from? What's your first language? Do you need help with that?
@Guy - what happened buddy? In the previous page I suggested a few things. Apps? It depends what the others think. I don't see this as a standard.
@miukkuman - where are you?
By the way, where are you from? What do you know to do in the android world or what are you interested in learning?
@everyone - the idea behind this thread is:
- I rather ask each one of you to tell me what you understood which is the idea behind this thread - what you understood. If you didn't understand then I'll need to find a better way to explain myself.
Don't forget to let me know if you know the adb question above.

ok, before sending the file via PM, I can answer you...there's no choice of restoring a backup from adb. That is the same as flashing a Custom Rom....those files are packed in a certain way that won't be possible to be flashed in hboot (PD98IMG.zip) way.

Thanks bub, so no can do. I don't believe in 'no can do's
Did you read my question about the hboot interface in the other thread? This, and the above question is simply a language (which I know absolutely nothing about) - there must be a way to get them talking to each other.

Anything you like really, it's your show. Porting? There are plenty guides for that. If you know any good ones I can link them in the third post. Can you look through the ones I posted to see which are good and if there are any ones that are repetitive or if there are better ones than the ones I posted? Especially the flashable zip link, since I don't know anything about that, maybe there is a betrer one or a guide or a tool for it?
I'll pm you in about 20 minutes.

Greets to all
Greets to all from another noob. Well, not a complete noob but a noob here on XDA given my few posts. My deep thanks for allowing a thread where sometimes there just might not be such a thing as a stupid question but honest ones instead,.... Hoping I can contribute something here as an owner of a softbank DHD here in Kyoto, Japan aka the 001HT. I spend alot of time trying to dig up general info from all over the i'net to help answer questions especially for ACE owners so I hope that might be of some help. Grant Barker's homepage is a great resource, (hope its allowed to mention that~). My first minor contribution------ 64GB MicroSD card usage with the DHD. It may already be well-known but for all us noobs who aren't too sure make no mistake..... I have the SanDisk Class 10 64GB MicroSD card and it works flawlessly in my DHD. Since I like to pack lots of MP3's and several full-length HD movies into my handset (helps keep the kids quiet on long drives ) being able to have that much storage space is a blessing! So, just to reiterate, 64GB microSD card--- no problems!

Thanks for the feedback Blashpemer666, hopefully you manage to refrain yourself in front of the kids.
Absolutely, we were all noobs, still are and probably remain being noobs. There is too much information to cover and too little time to do it in. We here are just trying to return to the community what they have given us by helping the new members whenever they need it and whenever we can, to the best of our knowledge, by pointing them in the right direction. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

My escape route when in trouble!
Was reading thru some threads when I came across some newcomers crying out for help stuck in bootloops while flashing custom roms.
Since I was free.Thought maybe write my own experiences down and what I did to get out of trouble.
Hope this not so short essay help someone new to XDA.
Let me begin with ClockWorkMod recovery.
I for one, have installed two types of Recovery to be on the safe side.
Anyways having the two does not in anyway hinder either.
Therefore it is only and added advantage.
If that wasn't enough there are kernels which come with preinstalled CWM of their own.
At the moment I've got 3.
I switch roms very often. Many a times in the beggining I often made mistakes and always had to redo the whole procedure all over again.
That means from scratch.Flashing custom roms, rooting and then delve in CWM -
X-Parts by pvyPARTS
which I had to keep downloading again and again from market.
Real pain in the ass!
Now where did I stop in the procedure, yes, after CWM installation, fastboot flash the kernel and now use the CWM to flash the roms and the other zips.
Then came across another recovery tool.
RecoverX by LEDelete.
Awesome tool.Does the same more or less as X-Parts except you need to run this on your PC and bind it to your device.
Color is bright neon blue.Very nice visually.
So now what are my choices.Do I retain one and let go of the other.
Made some enquiries about having 2 recoveries.Feedback,no problems. Sweeeeet. I'll take both!
Then came the kernels with their own recoveries i. e -
mechmetal for FusioN kernels
Did the dancing act at the beginning and very stable versions now.
Thank you.
I'll have that too.The more the better since it was not corrupting my device in any ways.
Presently, very few mistakes in flashing roms. So less frequent flashing stock roms. Mind you,it does require me,at times,to do complete clean installs once in awhile.
For that I have learnt a few tricks.
Flashing stock roms-the usual flashtool.
Since I have the bootloader unlocked, rooting takes less than 2 seconds. Simply a marvellous tool. Thanks to:
AutoRoot by bazoocase
Can't escape downloading from Google play store though OR is there a way?
There is!
Am learning that now but I'm actually trying to get only my most needed apps such as Titanium backup,Astro File Manager, and one or two more apps with its contents and data.
Jesus H Christ, this is only the beggining. There's a whole lot more to learn. But I'm liking it!
So newcomers, this might help you in your stay here at XDA.If via this lengthly passage I am able to help A newcomer I am satisfied.
Note:This are pointers for newcomers who have problems during flashing custom roms and start CRYing when stuck in bootloops.
PS: All the above are true facts.
I learnt by making mistakes here and there.
I did a lot of reading, searching, sending out PM's not getting replies and reading, searching and putting forward questions all over sometimes in wrong threads too.
For that I had been abused and bombarded collectively. But hey, that made me be extra careful.
These would happen to you but don't give up.Practice makes perfect.Don't shy off from making decisions.
You are already here.People can teach your everything but at the end of the day you are the one who is going to press that execute button.
It will for work for some cos they did exactly what was needed to be done.It might not work for some cos they didn't.

LreadyIt is good to see a senior member-op putting up a thread like this without being a know it all, smartass twat! I'm sure all the noobies will appreciate it! I personally worked it all out with a full month of reading. I have a bad temper and did not feel like getting abused and tyrated for asking perfectly legitimate questions! I say the same to all who are having probs and are new, keep reading, asking questions and don't give up! Six months ago I couldn't even navigate these forums properly, now I test Roms and kernels for devs! My biggest tip is find a kernel with CWM preinstalled and prerooted custom Roms! Remember one thing too, Titanium Backup is your best friend and is worth paying for the pro version! I don't like anything that isn't free but TB is worth the money!
To the OP here I think it would be good to insert a nit more detail on how to do these things and use these apps in your thread for those not in the know, maybe even some links! It's alot of work but I think noobies will be grateful! If you want some help to complete a noob friendly thread for flashing/rooting etc. PM me and I will help you write it up! We will prob get berated by others because of similar threads, but I have found them not noob friendly or incorrect! The only reason I still a junior member is because I have not bothered to make posts as have not had anything useful to say till recently!

Similar to the existing stickys, which are highly under utilized by new members, and as shown on a few occasions, by senior members too. Read Read Read, practice practice practice, is the only way anyone is going to learn, and I know because it's what I had to do for similar reasons to you when I knew absolutely nothing when I first joined, and if you're serious about learning how to tweak and mod Android then you need to be prepared to spend an hour or two sat at your computer, as you're not going to learn everything over night, in a week or even a month, and 3 years later you may still be learning, as I continue to.

Hello everyone
I am new to the forum so I am not sure if I am in the right place. I have rotted my xperia arc and I cannot install the CWM. I have tried through Xparts and through the RecoverX (RecoverX seems not to be able to download the recovery). I have done the same thing in the past without havin any probelems. This is the first time that I cannot install it. Any ideas?
Thanks for helping

CM11 - Error 7 - set_metadata_recursive.

Hi! Im trying to install the new CM11 dev builds for the Galaxy Y and I keep getting:
Code:
Installing update...
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E:Error in /sdcard/cm-11-2014-05-28-EXPERIMENTAL-totoro.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Any ideas. I'm installing it upon the CM9 build re recently got and upon that kernel.
its recovery issue.
How can I fix it then? I guess that much. :L
sorry but i have no permission to share something.
So, can I or cant I fix it...

you need to use the correct cwm recovery v6.x
for that you need the new kernel
But I dont know why you want to - its for devs only - its experimental - has a high risk of bricking your phone - and nothing on cm11 works yet other than it boots
If you are a dev and want to develop all the details are on the cm11 thread in the dev section but I repeat - unless you are a dev please dont not post there or flash anything on your device

Thanks and yes I know. I like to try out the newest things, I'm not in any major need of my phone for a while so I can do whateva.
Could you link me to the new CWM Recov. and the Kernel?
Unfortunately the devs are not in favour of releasing these things as yet. -CALIBAN666- and marcussmith2626 had put up links and attachments for the files but have since taken them down at bieltv.3's request.
Try and understand, they as devs do not want to hard brick your phone with their work.
Until we get a beta, don't even try.
