Did you try factory reset?
I did it. And very nice performance!
If you embarrased your data, do cwm backup or titaniumbackup

Hi, can I flash SHW-M480W with N-8010 XXBLK9 because I want to change the download mode language from Korean to English (when it enters the download mode it is in Korean language and I want to change it to English).

Today I have tried to flash my SHW-M480W with N8010 ROM but failed. Fortunately, I can revert to the old ROM. However this ROM version only supports several language packs for Keyboard, and I can't use it for my country's language

I guess it's the same firmware i found today, using system information that one person from the Netherlands gave me, so i guess it has most European languages.
Haven't had time to test it yet.
I think XW is generic Europe.

Im not try it overcome , the performance is little better from 3.1( in browsermark make 92000,3.1 makes 89000,antutu 5000), i flashed with Odin,pda slot, its only tar file.
Its not brandet,there have only 2 app in nederland, and i removed with titanium.

big problems with screen rotation. it takes like 2-3 seconds to rotate even more in home screen! tried hard reset, same thing happens!
went back to 3.1!

Few days later got an update pop up i.e DDLF3 4.0.4. Its really very smooth amd fast.
Few changes that i loved is the improved browser, smooth screen transition,
picture editor is simply awesome, nice battery life. And finally an option to change the
screenshot icon.
Let me know if i missed something.

Well, for me I had to becaue I was on CM9. I had to wipe it.

Downloaded the firware from samfirmware and flashed it through odin. I know OTA and kies update wont help.

I am new here, just got galaxy tab 2, p310 from Pune, India, it comes with ICS 4.0.3, I tried the OTA update from device but it says there is no update ... can any pls pls post simple steps with download links to flash to latest 4.0.4 ROM manually ? I never used ODIN etc so few details will help
also after manually update will the tab have the touchwix or will be vanilla ICS ? what else will I loose ?

You should get the OTA update! I too got my tab2 last week, and as soon as i added an account and connected to a Wi-Fi network,i was asked to update which i did !

hey guys,
I've got UK tab 2 10.1 5510..yesterday I rooted it..was all working fine until I installed go launcher HD..kept getting process stopped error messages and lost the taskbar at the bottom..no problem I thought reboot..same issue..did a hard reset..same issue ..my tab came with 4.0.4 from factory..I refreshed and resolved issue with 4.0.3 yesterday..and thought I could do ota or kies update to get back to 4.0.4..but they both say no updates..I can install via Odin but can't find the file..any ideas??
Lesson learnt btw..use nandroid peep!!

If you send me your product code I can try to seach for your stock firmware (you should have it just in case).
And your tab it isn't the 5510 (because it not exists).
Maybe is a 5100... If so on dial type *#1234#
I'm assuming it's the UK P5110 as I have exactly the same issue. Originally on 4.0.4 I played around with root and whatnot before device spoofed crashed and the tab wouldn't boot.
The only version I would find after that was 4.0.3 and there is currently no update available through kies or the built in software updater.
I'm still looking for the update, if anyone can help

I cannot find any 4.0.4 for 5110, except the P5110ZCBLH2 (OTA) that came out today for China!!!
To seach for it in another away I need your PRODUCT CODE and HIDSWVER
To look for it, if you have windows got to regedit and look for CURRENT_USER/software/samsung/Kies/DeviceDB/ and then find the folder that have HIDSWVER and Product Code

2. Into recovery and full wipe/factory reset.

Some people are having FCs on Keyboards. It seems that this leak may not like two KBs being installed at one time. The only way mine is now working was by freezing Swiftkey in Titanium and then rebooting and only using stock KB.

Seriously what do they do with Gtab2 firmwares ? no update for a recent device .....
They said they will update until 4.2.2... we will see.I feel my tab a bit slow especially when typing on virtual keyboard thats why im waiting f or an update.
Maybe a factory reset could help but i have so many things on it ...im lazy to reinstall all!

If your Gtab is rooted ,you can use "titanium backup",to make a backup of your apps before a factory reset: P

Sorry if this is a noobish question, but I currently have Cyanogen Mod installed on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (p3110) and I want to go back to a stock rom, would this do the trick? I'm sure it will as it contains all the right languages but I just wanted to check first.
