Help me!! - Transformer TF300T General

So here is the long story.. Over the summer I had unlocked my bootloader and rooted my tablet. I did have a rom on it but i decided to go back to stock because my family and I were going to go on vacation and I wouldn't have access to a computer if something were to mess up. I then returned home and was going to root it again and install a custom recovery. I tried to plug it in to my laptop and it said that the device had an error and could not be read and that it malfunctioned. I had never seen this before. I could charge it and use it on my keyboard dock correctly but my computer would not recognize it at all. I then contacted ASUS support and they just fed me with bull****. I played their game and reinstalled drivers, factory reset it, tried a different computer, all of that and NOTHING would work. I then sent it to them just to see if they could fix it. They had it for almost 2 months and sent it back because I had unlocked the bootloader. Ever since I had gotten it back, it has been the absolute slowest tablet in the world. It lags 24/7 and it is almost boiled down to a piece of ****. I cannot connect it to a laptop of computer in hopes of putting CM on it to fix it. Can anyone please offer me any advice!!! Is there a way to use an app to somehow root it, should I buy a new usb cord if that could be the case, something??!??!!! FYI my bootloader is still unlocked and I am running stock (US version) 10.4.2.17. Thank you.

[Q] Use myTouch 3G without contract?

I switched my wife over to Sprint to be on my family plan and I thought it would be nice to use her old T-Mobile myTouch 3G as wifi-only Android device. I have already reset the device to stock. It was never rooted or anything.
The problem is that now it boots up and says "touch the android to begin". But we don't have T-Mobile service on it, so it won't let me get past the setup. I have Googled this and I can find is some stuff about touching the 4 corners, but it does not work.
I would just like to do two things:
1) Load the new 2.2 ROM
2) Use the phone on my home network
How? Please help.
I have experience with custom ROMs on Windows Mobile phones, I'm even running Froyo on my Touch Diamond, but I'm new to the native Android scene...
You'll need to just throw a data enabled SIM in to activate and you'll be good after. You'll have to have one for T-Mobile though unless you unlock the phone. A lot of people have had success getting an unlock code from T-Mobile though so that shouldn't be too hard, just a phone call.

So to be clear, there's no method to simply connect the phone to my computer using USB and bypass activation and/or load a new ROM? Keeping in mind that I don't want to use any cellular service with it...

cant you just skip the sign in part? then just use wifi?
if not, maybe you need to root it andload cm or something on it
on my backup mt3g, which is rooted, with cm6, i can skip the sign in, and then use wifi
He can't bypass the activation on the stock ROM. It'll be a pain to root without being able to access the phone unless he's got ready access to another Android powered device.

more evidence of:
stock=bad
root=good
btw, with UniversalAndroot, you could root that sucker in literally one or two clicks, my 7 year old niece could do it, then install rom manager, and if you dont have a file explorer, here's root explorer
after that, i would wipe all, flash cm nightly 221 over that stock junk and add pershoot's kernel
problem solved-skip sign-in and use your mt3g on da wi-fi
That would be great if he didn't have to get past the activation screen on the stock ROM initially to do all of it. Not trying to troll you, just saying.

guess he just needs to borrow a friend's tmo sim card, then
oh well
just went back and read his op
"I have already reset the device to stock. It was never rooted or anything."
curious as to why he "reset" if it wasnt rooted? should have just left it alone
wonder if the friendly folks at the Tmo store would let him borrow a sim for a few minutes

Major Epic issues. Need help before I fall back on insurance replacement.

A couple days ago my epic stopped being recognized by any computers. Tried multiple cables and all that. I used the rerfs stock ec05 to get back to stock before bringing it in to Sprint. They won't do anything to it cause of my extended battery, which sucks cause my stock battery sits by my window and got rained on causing the spot to turn red. They won't touch it now. I used z4roo to root, flashed the cheese gingerbread from asc somehow. Now I'm stuck. I can't flash cwm through rom manager cause it only sees device as I9000. I can't flash gps fix or anything cause it fails signature. How do I change how rom manager sees my device so I can flash cwm so I can fix everything?

Everything I have read says that rom manager does not work on the Epic so don't use it
Did you try a different pc? Im sorry if these are obvious answers but issues like this tend to be overlooked. Try a differerent pc. Redownload the drivers. Odin back to stock. These phones are actually hard to screw up software wise so if all else fails its a hardware problem. Some people like to use the standalone drivers, for some reason I like to install kies. Its workes guaranteed for me everytime.. and I use the stock usb cable. Im actually one of the very few people who like it lol

power down and put it in download mode pressing 1 on keyboard and power button
connect to computer
if still not recognized and/or drivers do not load properly
uninstall old drivers and install them again or try different drivers
pdanet android has also worked for me successfully installing 'some' drivers
i would recommend the drivers straight from samsung website...they worked for me both on x86 and x64 windows 7 computers
if you can get into download mode (yellow triangle) and connect properly to pc
go ahead and odin eb13 or ec05 stock tar (ec05 if possible and doesn't hang on formatfs.rfs)
then update as usual to your desired rom using the relevant one-click cwm
if you had to go back to eb13...use one-click cwm2.5 first...then step up from there
Honestly, sounds like a bum port on the phone. I'd try calling Sprint rather than the store as I've had a LOT better luck dealing with them on the phone.

Why not buy another stock battery or borrow one from a friend and take your phone to another sprint store?

For some strange reason, my computer won't recognize my Epic if I plug the USB cable into my front ports. Just doesn't see them. But if I plug them into the ports on the back of my computer, totally sees it. I dunno why, but maybe that will help you as well.
Install the samsung usb driver offered on samsung.com reboot your pc (wndows 7 usually doesn't ned a reboot) also it is possible that the phone may only utilise usb 2.0, had the same trouble the other day and fixed it by installing the usb driver.

Looking for anyone in the Toronto area that could help me with my atrix $$

I've been having a lot of problems with my atrix. Currently it's just a paper weight, and I'm using my blackberry that I absolutely hate.
Basically, my phone will power on, but the modem will not power up. I have tried countless things that I've seen on these message boards, and nothing has worked.
I am able to boot into Android, but the only will reboot after 2 or 3 minutes of playing around.
I'm starting to get pretty frustrated, and I'm willing to pay someone that will be able to get my phone back to a working state.
This is time sensitive as I'm leaving for a European vacation on Tuesday, and I would like to be able to use my Atrix as I travel.
Someone, please help!
When you say the modem will not power up do you mean you have no data or wifi?
Need more info about your phone like build number, baseband, etc.
All the pertinent info can be found at Settings > About Phone.
I'm studying at uoft right now, but id need more info before I committed to anything.
Is your phone completely stock? (if yes don't answer questions you dont need to)
Is it Bell?
Is your bootloader unlocked?
Is your phone rooted?
Did you try to do anything to your phone that caused it to start working improperly?
Have you thought about turning in your phone or sending it in (since it should be under warranty)?
Basically, my phone won't boot up. When I power it on, the phone shows the motorola logo "Dual Core Technololgy." Then after about a minute, it will say "Modem did not power up (3) Starting RSD protocol support" I can't even get into the phone to use it.
I bought the phone unlocked about 2 weeks ago. It was working perfectly fine, had no issues, then all of the sudden the phone just started rebooting, and sometimes saying "Modem did not power up" But i would just take the battery out, and then it would boot up perfectly fine. But 2 days ago, removing the battery no longer worked.
I checked the warranty on Motorola's site, and the phone is under warranty. The only reason I dont want to send it off right now is because I'm leaving for Europe next week, and I want to be able to use it over there.
Also, when the phone constantly started to reboot, I wasnt try to flash anything, or mess around with ROM's or anything.
When you say unlocked, do you mean similar unlocked or was the phone unlocked?...

G Tab 10.1 problems.

So, here's my new problem.
I bought this cable after losing my original cable, as well as my bose headphones, compliments of TSA in lovely Orlando Florida, so I bought a new one. Here's the link to what I purchased, and my problem actually will follow after.
http://www.walmart.com/ip/DualJack-Sync-Charge-Cable-for-Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-and-Galaxy-S/20440053
ok, so my Tablet is rooted, and I have been trying to unroot it hoping to solve a problem.
My tablet will not charge while it is on, and when I turn it off to charge, it's charging so incredibly slow/
Yes, I have the red X over my battery,
Yes I have turned off/on USB Debugging
It continues to stay in MTP Initialization mode.
This cable BTW is neat in design, and concept, but the slightest tough to the cable while it's hooked into the tab causes severe connection issues.
I followed the link posted by another xda developer that led me to a forum here on how to root/unroot your tab, which is also found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1769406
Now charging issues aside, I've started to unroot using odin and the process is mind numbingly slow. I almost thing the thing is locking up actually. I don't know what else to do here, and I'm sick of really screwing with this thing to be honest. It's still under warranty and I'm really dissappointed with the lack of support for this device.
Anyone know what else I can do?
Is there a way to unroot this tab without using the cable which could very well be my problem?
Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.
Why use odin? If the process is underway then maybe you can't open it up. If you can start the device, then install mobile odin app and flash a stock rom. If the device can't boot, then consider buying an original cable, as this is the root of the problem apparently. Also on the Walmart link I noticed that the cable is for the galaxy tab/galaxy s. Maybe it is for the original 7-inch tab?

That has crossed my mind but where is a stock rom? Im pretty illterate at this, really regretting lettin my buddy flashthis lol. I did finally get tisntablet working again but it gb 3.01, and apparently im in europe now lol. Idk what to do at this point,

Nexus 7 LTE service center problems

I bought Nexus 7 LTE 32GB last year from croatian webshop.
Tablet was working fine until december 2013.It was slowing down and rebooting.
Then i decided to RMA it.
I found official ASUS service wich was MRService(until 1.1.2014).
I got my device back from service after new year.
Again tablet was working fine running 4.4.2 KitKat until 10.2.2014
Again slowing down and rebooting.
Here are some of things happening:
http://i.imgur.com/fOoiOBE.jpg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udXHso0b9hA
So again i packed up device and went to MRService and got this paper that says MR Service isnt more official for some ASUS devices including my Nexus 7 LTE 32GB
http://i.imgur.com/cps1Ofk.jpg
So i found other one wich is only offical one at the moment in Croatia.
Called them, explained my problems and they sent Overseas express to my address to pickup device.
Before anything i written on their service site and i described whats happening and one of their techs said i need to do recovery. And of course i didnt do that.Thats stuff they should do.
After a week or two service was finished also they claimed they changed mainboard(MBO).
Got my device 3.3.2014 at 15:45 waiting for me infront of my door and i was happy that problems where solved.
I opened box and powered up device.
Google logo showed up but then wierd "android" boot logo came and i was "what the hell is this".
Device booted into OS and i was scared.
Whole OS from top to bottom was some sort of chinese skin running 4.2.2
Even S/N in settings says just :111111111111
This thing doesnt look anything like Nexus device.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzZUq3KRDVc
I immediately called them back.
They said "Oh well our techs didnt do OS upgrade."WAAAT?
I dont know what to do now.
If i return mybe they will say my warranty is voided or not?
Do you have access to a computer? If so all you have to do is flash stock LTE image from Google.
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#razorg
That's for stock image. Here is steps how to do it
Google: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#instructions
YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VUlDEGhkZ4&feature=youtube_gdata_player
And I'm pretty sure this should be in Q&A section.
