I don't have that problem, but does your Netflix app lock up frequently? It seems like every time I search for something, if it's not the very first thing I click on, it won't load the video, add to queue, nothing. Just sits there until I tap away from the pop-up screen.
No mine does not do that just the mute thing you might try clearing your cache and data and see if that helps you GOD BLESS YOU

Hi,
For some reason my phone will not automatically mute when placed face down on desks etc. htc said to do a hard reset but I really don't want to have to reinstall and set everything up again.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks

Try to calibrate gsensor
Place your phone on a flat surface and click calibrate
Settings>sound&display>gsensor calibration

Just to confirm I am on the same page. My understanding is that the phone will mute only when placed face down after a call starts ringing.
If it is just sitting on a desk and happens to be face down and then a call comes in it will still ring, at which point you will need to pick it up so it moves then place it face down and it will mute.
That's my experience anyway.

I just tried and mine did the same. I must have misunderstood what they were meaning on the htc website. Tasker looks like it will do what I wanted so I will get that.
Thanks for the help

Try installing flip - silent from the app store. I use this to mute the phone face down.
My volume works fine for music, videos, notifications....but it makes absolutely no noise when audible selection is checked and you touch the screen or use the keyboard. Suggestions?

mine works when audible selection is checked. I clicked notification bar and it makes a *CLICK sound, is ur sound settings high after u checked the box? It disappeared when i put my volume all the way done. Try checking the box and restarting it. If that doesnt work then i'm sorry maybe someone else will have a better answer =(
Thanks for the help. Tried those ideas..no go. Its just weird that the volume for everything else works

Have you tried lowering the notification volume? Go to sounds-volume and slide notification volume all the way to the left.
Lowering the volume wasn't an option, the sound came through when listening to music, ect that's why it was annoying, anyways I did a full factory reset and that solved the problem

Ok I rooted earlier today and have encountered a problem.
When im on a call it shows the call screen for about 30 or so seconds then goes back to the dialer keypad and takes away the phone call in the notification bar. Does Not disconnect or anything just no hang up button just the call button if that makes sense?
I dont know if Root Call Blocker could be the cause. I'm going to freeze the app then try again.
Yeah its the Root call blocker app!

Yeah i love the app. I emails the dev so hopefully he will have it fixed in a few days
An update that was supposed to fix our issue was released today but it fixed nothing for me, still losing radio signal and still can't return to a call in progress once I leave the call screen. Actually had to reboot to end a call.

There's another new update today and the app is still broken root call blocker used to be the best app ever but I think the developer is stumped on how to fix it.

So this problem just started today. Everything I open or do the sound is very quiet, but when I hold the home button and swipe all the running apps away it fixes it for a few seconds until I try to ooen anything again. Even if there is just the messaging app open.
Anyone experiencing this issue?
