Two strange issues - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

1. car bluetooth (07 TSX)
When i dial a number, i am not able to transfer to bluetooth until the receiving person picks up the phone. I have to keep watching the phone until the counter starts. Is it my car (07 TSX) or any car bluetooth.
When i was using EVO 3D, i would select bluetooth, i hear ringing sound, as soon as the phone connects, it changes to handset mode, then i will select bluetooth again. This was also annoying but could not help and it was usable.
2. the phone makes a "faling coins" sound through SPEAKER when i shake the phone (THIS IS ADDITIONAL TO MINOR RATTLING NOISE)
its gone when deselected " Dialpad touch tones" and it does not come even if i select it now.
I have not seen this before, is it normal or some kind of setting.

Disable wakeup in case of call via bluetooth

I have a small problem. I have my phone paired with my car via bluetooth. Is there a way to disable the screen from turning on when a call comes through and the phone is paired with the car (or a headset for that matter).
A more favorable solution would be so that the buttons (except power) would be disabled, since the root of the problem is that when I get a call, and Im talking via the car, as Im driving, the bumps in the road cause the phone to rock around the place where I put it, and it presses all the different hardware buttons (like hang up).

I can hear the caller, but they can't hear me

I just wanted to ask whether anyone else was having problems making calls. Sometimes when receiving or making calls I have the problem that the person on the other end is not able to hear me. I however can hear them perfectly and crystal clear. Is anyone else having this issue? The issue is usually resolved when I redial, but it's pretty annoying at times.
I'm on Vodafone UK.
The first call I made this happened to me, I think my head pressed against something to place the call on hold. The only indication you get that the call is held is a little pause icon in the task bar.
I've had this a number of times when the Hero has been connected to my Bluetooth car kit.
Even once its disconnected, I dial out and the caller hears me but I do not hear their ring tone or voice.
Turning Bluetooth off and then on again seems to cure it.
Random, does not happen all the time.
The Hero will also think its still connected to the car kit even after the car is turned off and I'm a long long way from it.
Same cure as above releases the 'connection'.
I've also noticed I get a pop up that says 'Bluetooth Headset Disconnected' when it was not or had not been connected for a long time.
Seems confused.

No sound during calls or when media plays

My MyTouch 1.2 is acting really frustratingly stupid. The speaker and mic aren't working right, and the closest solution (and explanation) I could find for this was a post I found on a T-Mobile forum:
A few weeks back I tried to make a call on my phone and I wanted to use the speaker, when I brought up the menu to select "speaker", I noticed that the option was greyed out and so I couldn't enable it. After that I looked at the screen and it said it was dialing, but I heard no sound coming out. Next I clicked the volume control all the way down to mute and then all the way to max volume, still no sound. After ending the call I double-checked to make sure I wasn't connected to any bluetooth device, bluetooth was disabled. So then I tried to change the ringer volume and the speaker emitted its beeps letting me know how loud the ring volume was. That told me the speakers worked as well as the hardware responsible for generating sound. My next idea was to see if the media player had sound, so I played an mp3 from my sd card, no sound, went to youtube and played a few different videos, no sound. Called my friend, who was standing next to me, and when he answered he said he couldn't hear me speaking, I couldn't hear him either.
Something was seriously wrong with my phone so I bit the bullet and reset it to factory settings, the problem persisted. I took the phone to a TMobile store and they got me a replacement phone. The phone was working for 3 days and then the same problem occured. I got another phone (my 3rd phone) and this morning it has stopped working in the exact same way. I don't do any hacks or developer apps. There is no pattern to this except that it always seems like I'm at work when it happens.
UPDATE WITH SOLUTION: After thinking about this issue it occurred to me that the phone was behaving as if it had a bluetooth device connected to it. As an experiment, I went to my car which is paired with my phone and selected the audio source as my phone. At first it couldn't connect to my phone. So I looked at my phone's bluetooth setting and the status for my car's connection was "paired and not connected". I selected the connection on phone and retried with my car and bam, audio now works. I disconnected the phone from the bluetooth and sound was restored! So mytouch 3g has a bug in their bluetooth services. TMobile/HTC, hit me up if you are looking for a top-notch developer to fix your defects.

Unfortunately, this solution didn't work for me, and I've tried pairing it with every device I could possibly pair it with. No dice. Anyone have a fix for this?

[Q] calls when phone is closed?

I find it quite strange that the phone does not allow to make outgoing calls when the keyboard is closed.
Because when you have an outgoing call you can still close the phone and the call will continue. That profs that it's possible. But with to much emission? If not...
Could there be some way overcome that that limitation?
The issue is that if you close the screen, the microphone is hidden.
Yep. The MIC is on the keyboard, which gets covered when you don't have the keyboard flipped out.
The issue is that it's even impossible to answer a call when the headset is connected.
Yesterday I was outside, it was windy and friend called. The headset was connected. I had the phone in my pocket and closed the phone while I was asking my friend if he might hear any differences in the quality of my voice.
He recognized no change in quality and we were able to talk just normally without problems. Does the headset has a microphone or is always the microphone of the phone used?
In any case, not being able to answer a call with headset connected without opening the phone is quite poor.
I would like to have an app to fix this behaviour. I don't like being patronized by Motorola.
PS: I just recognized that the headset has a single button for answer/hang up. Just the application for incoming calls does not have this feature which is still quite poor. Is the standard android (without motoblur) better?
Behind that 'single button' on the headset, there is a microphone. That's why if you have a headset(not to be confused with headphone), you can make a call w/o opening the phone.
However, as I've tested, even when the phone is closed, the MIC near the keyboard blocked by the phone's screen can still function normally(via Voice Search).

[Q] Sound disappears from BT-Headset and goes (routes) to the phone while calling

Hello. Sorry my English.
Hardware: Samsung Galaxy S5 Duos (KitKat 4.4.2 ANJ1 stock rooted), Plantronics Voyager Bluetooth Headset, Jabra Clear BT Headset. From november 2014 to may 2015 all was great, but suddenly I got a problem with the BT on my phone.
The problem is: in outcoming call: 1) I dial a number and begin a call 2) the call's sounds routed to a headset 3) When I hear "Allo" , the sound in headset suddenly goes to a phone's voice speakerphone, and BT-headset loses sound 4) sometimes sound and voice goes to phone while dialing a number or after some words from my friend that I called. The problem occurs completely at random, it can happen on the 1st time I dial or the 10th time, for example, or just every call. In incoming calls: 1) I receive a call with BT-Headset (push a button on it), firstly voice comes to BT-Headset, but it can disappears after some words from me or my friend.
When the sound disappears, I find that the BT-connection stays alive , and my S5 obeys the headset buttons commands (when I pressed the button on headset, the call disconnects. So, Galaxy S5 obeys the command from BT-Headset and BT connection stays alive while calling, but sound may disappears suddenly, and I must take my phone to the ear to complete a call. Both mic and voice sound goes from BT-headset to the phone's speakerphone. But I finde a feature: After sound disappears - when I double pressed the BT-button in the call window (off and on again bluetooth audio call channel), the sound brings back to the headset!!! So, I think, that the call app loses the sound from BT-Headset and suddenly routes it to the phone, but why?
I used a stock ANJ1 rooted for 6 month ago and had no problem, my apps setup didn't change for 6 month I owned a phone. Something happens, but what? How can I trace or parse the app that causes this problem? I think, one app from my setup trying to control the voice, so it disappears. Any suggestion?
What I tried: wipe phone and write the ANJ1 from Odin (BT works on the stock without apps), after this I bring back my backups from Titanium Backup (just user apps and data). I have Smart Booster and AFWall+ (android firewall - with my own rules), and have the EnhancedSMS and Caller ID. Freezes AFWall+ and SmartBooster - no changes, sound disappears. Any saggestions, please?
