[Xperia Arc]Different Cache Partition Size. 101MB and 225MB. - Xperia Arc General

I have two Xperia Arcs( not Arc S, just Arc). I installed 'diskinfo' from Play Store. It says an Arc has 101MB cache partition but another has 225MB. Why so different? Maybe Sony made two different types for saving money? Anyway, I see no performance difference. But interesting. This is not OS dependent. On ICS and GB, there are same results.

Mine is not Arc S. Mine is Arc. "Two Xperia Arcs" is not for Arc S. 's' of 'Arcs' is for the plural form. Sorry

how do you check their cache size? what's the app name?

Since the unlocked Xperia Arc is available through the Sony Store it is probably safe to say AT&T is going with the Neo. Just speculation on my part but it will only be a matter of time for that will be announced.

You know, now that I think of it, the silver might just be the Japanese version SO-01C. I am not sure that SE has released the silver LT15a yet?
Well it says Lt15a. + I thought Rogers has release silver already?

My first one! I bought it on Sony Style USA. Initially, I was going to stick with my X10a, since it would get 2.3 soon, until the successor to the arc (duo?) is released later this year or early next. But, I just could not help myself once I saw it on Sony Style. I hope I did the right thing!
You have been searching for long time and I have already been through 3 arcs. I am going to order this silver one and report back. I hope it is the right one. are you sure Rogers has not released silver yet?

Fingers crossed as it seems to be the Kit Kat update based on the firmware number!!! :fingers-crossed:
Seems like a mistake. The first number (in this case, 14), represents the DreamBoard (interface name used inside Sony's dev thingy) belongs to Z1, Z1 Compact and Z Ultra. Just like Z, ZL and a few others, Tablet Z begins with 10. The second number (after the first "stop") is the one that represents a new Android version. Notice how it went from 1 to 3 (from 4.1.2 to 4.3, to 4 (4.3). KitKat should be, in theory, 10.4.x.x.xxx

Haha. Yeah... Info says Z1 should get KK at the start of April, tops. DooMLoRD also mentioned Z might have it even before Z. Considering the Tablet updates always take a bit more to be released, and that the WiFi only versions takes even longer, I bet the SGP311/312 should get KK, following that logic, around the mid or end of April...

I think it's a database error, because there's no "10.4.1.B.0.101" in the list, whic is the latest FW update. However, hope dies last cause in the date column says "Mar 13, 2014"....

But what are you doing to calculate those firmware build numbers?
You change a 0 for a 1 in the 2nd slot.
Then you start summing the 4th slot (0........1.....)
And you just give a random number for the 5th slot?
I don't really know about Sony Xperia numbers. (What they mean).
And more importantly.....what's the purpose of posting something like this, without any context? Are you just trying to troll? If that's the case forgive me for taking you seriously at least once. (You're a Senior Member in XDA, so I don't really think this).
Im not a troll. This is only to show the latest state of sonys internal build process. As checked by handset detection.
Its easy
32 is Z5 Z3+ Z4 cause of unified devices with SD810
32.1 is 6.0 as 32.0 is 5.1
32.1.A.1 is a change more than 1000
32.1.A.1.150 so this made 1150 bugs or changes, because the latest number is usually under 1000
the first number changes for most devices
23
25
28
so on.
