Let me start of by saying I personally like the bumper. Not as good looking as the official bumper, but it does the job and looks fairly nice. The only issue I am having is the fact that the rubber in the bumper tends to separate after a while. Seems like a classic you get what you pay for situation, being that its only 10 USD. Just letting everyone know before you decide to get it.

There are already multiple inquiries of this. Contact Poetic so they can issue you another bumper. Their first batch was apparently defective.

in my situation, i got 6 free, 3 original broke, 3 first replacements broke, have 3 more on the way! lol
While its great that they replace them, it does show a lack of quality in the product. Im surprised there isnt more people selling their own bumpers on ebay etc
6 bumpers.!

Anyways..the phone itself was very nice looking. I love the weight. This phone has some good weight to it because of the aluminum body. The camera was pretty damn amazing and the HTC Zoe feature was pretty cool.
Anyone else get their hands on it yet?

Can i ask how u got your hands on one in the US ? Not that I don't believe u ..I'd just love the opportunity lol
Was it a 32 or 64 gb model?
Any carrier branding? If so, where?
Yes please, us U.S. people would love to check it out haha.
HTC rep came into my work and had it with him.
Very nice phone. I will 100% be getting this phone. I hope development goes smooth.

I got to play with it today as well, the display is amazing! Don’t like that their isn’t a removable SD slot... You cant remove the ZOE, but you can change the home page.
It looks like a solid phone and definitely a better upgrade to the htc onex :good:

Sorry, I meant blinkfeed
I got to play with it as well. This phone is pretty sick. The camera is pretty awesome. The zoe feature sold me. You can basically create a movie with it. Lol. The phone is smooth and very responsive. The blink feed is nice as well. The front facing camera is best I've ever seen. It has the capability to be used as a tv remote. The aluminum body felt great and not cheap in the hands. I have the note 2 and think I will buy this phone as well. The list of new features goes on and on. If they can get proper advertising, this phone will be a great success for htc.

Hi I'm curious about external lenses. Found some on the net fisheye, macro, wide angle etc. Did anyone ever use these? How they affect photos. I'm thinking to give them a try but don't know anything about lenses and if they worth money or not :silly:

I have the photojojo lenses. They work very well. With the fisheye lens you can see a black rim on the edge of the photo. They are attached with a magnet that you put around the rim of the camera lens. I would recommend them. Just so you know the photojojo lenses ane not any different from the no name Chinese ones. They will work with any smartphone camera. Here is a review.
I have , I bought them on amazon , search patazon camera lens kit ,mine came from China but I like them a lot. They where about 17 bucks including shipping.

They're completely worth the money. I have telephoto, fisheye, macro and wide angle lenses. The telephoto lens is particular useful since digital zoom sucks.
Where did you find the telephoto lens and which one. How does it stay on the phone?

It seems like the Photojojo is the most reliable one. But for 50$? Too expensive. Are there any other alternatives in amazon/ebay? It would be awesome if it would be a set.

I bought a cheap one from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007VI3S1M/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
There are cheaper ones, but that is the one I bought. I did not see me using the fisheye so that saved me money.
Here are pictures of an eye and a cable for my headphones. That cable has nasty stuff in it!
I ordered a nexus 4(8GB) from Google play store.I have received the package.but when i unboxed the nexus 4 i found out that , after the sliding out the outer cover , the inner box cover which is sealed by 2 plasters was not there.i could directly see the device. The cover with the nexus logo on the right bottom was not there. Is this a problem? or is it a new way of packing the nexus 4? Please help.
The red circle marks the cover that was missing!.
Please help!
Thank you.
P.S. The picture i have posted is from Google images.
That's weird. I guess call up Google support and ask for a free pair of headphones or bumper or something.
Does the phone ahow signs of use?

EDIT: you mean the top half of the box? definitely not right if you didn't get that.

What are you talking about?? What you have circled is the top half of the box!! Edit: Just thought, probably not a picture of your box. If so and you were missing that, then I would say it had been opened before or maybe it did change recently. I just got my N4 last month and it had the lid.

That don't look normal at all, doesn't seem safe to be shipped like that since the phone wouldnt be protected at all. Luckily its fine but I would still call Google.

So today I flipped open my case and my digitizer was cracked on my less than 2 week old N7. Won't let me unlock or anything. I have not dropped or otherwise damaged it. Has this happend to anyone else? Manufacturing defect? I also noticed last night that on black screens there were some red splotches. I'm just afraid if I try to get it replaced they will say physical damage have a nice day.

I believe it and no have not heard of this happening. If it was a drop, there would be a clear dent or shatter marking on that line before it splits into two. Just talk to google or where-ever you bought it from and try to keep calm. When glass breaks, it shatters and not produce hairline breaks like that.
get it replaced for free.

yup either that or a crack form pressure like sitting on it or having it in the back pocket and forgetting about it.
that's not a defect. it just doesn't crack on its own.

The tablet had slipped down the back of the sofa between the seat cushion and the back of the sofa. I sat down and it must have squished it. The cushions are super soft and I'm still not 100% sure it happened.

ahaha, nice!!
is Asus charging you to repair that device?
The nexus 7 has a very weak glass.
Mine got hairline crack from twisting.
Most drop test videos show it breaks on the first drop.
I have replaced first unit, waiting until local repair guy can get parts from his usual source to get first one fixed. May try contacting google/Asus about a repair but have not done that yet.
