Hey guys,
Can the keyboard wake up the tab just by pressing a touch if the keyboard is at 0% ? ( You should tick first this option in Asus Settings)
Thank you.
I don't know specifically about that function, but other dock functionality works fine with the dock battery at 0%.
My guess is that the keyboard does not rely on its own battery in any way. That battery is only to charge the tablet when it drops below 70% charge, not for functionality.

Yes it can. I just tested this for you. Also it needs to be unchecked not checked. Checking disables the feature.

I think you have to make sure in "USB Debugging" 'always leave screen on while charging' is UNCHECKED...
This worked for me

My I9100's battery died because I used the phone too much while charging it... what's the point of Daydream, then?

The other thing to check is:
Go into Settings -> Display -> Daydream.
Tap When To Daydream.
The default is When Docked. If you want to daydream while charging, you'll need to change it to While Charging or Either.

Battery drain while charging usually shouldn't happen, probably your battery is getting too old

Lately, I must turn off Wi-Fi and turn it back on to connect to any Wi-Fi source. Even if the device has just been sleeping.
Any suggestions besides throwing this thing away which is what I'd like to do?
Thanks

Ah, never mind. I did yet another wipe and restore and that particular problem has gone away for now.
Thanks!

Same problem here. After deep sleep i have to turn wifi off and on again to be able to reconnect to my router.
mine does which i think is strange. I was just curious.
Thanks,
Actually it does not.
I thought every Android device wakes up when connecting the charger. All smartphones I got my hands on did. Though this can be disabled
Not it does not turn on. You may wanna check in settings if there's something to enable/disable it (don't know whether you're using a custom rom or not)
Every Android device does unless you modify the Android. Policy. Jar. I think that's the one. However my galaxy S3 doesn't turn on running Cm10.1

Well I guess since I cant unlock the damn thing ill have a hard time changing that file. My phone doesn't do it but ive had a custom rom on it for so long i dont recall if the phone turned on when i plugged if in prior to rooting it. However, i dont have a custom ROM on the TF300T nor do i see a power setting so i guess id have to edit the file somehow. Seems silly to me since I'd like to keep it shut off to charge faster but as soon as i plug it in on she powers up from being completely off. Annoying.
Yes, mine does.

Yep, same here. This is the only Android device I've had that boots up fully when connecting a charger.

That's an easy hack,
You can also disable the screen on when plugged in via a .jar hack.

I've only had this issue on the odd occasion, but just the other day I left it off and plugged in, went to work and it was still off when I got back.

Mine on latest 4.2.1 does!
Strange, mine did at first. But after bricking, and recovering from the brick, it no longer does. I found that out today when I plugged it in after it died. I still had to turn it on after I returned back to it an hour later.

Yeah, it's 4.2.1.
Just got mine in Russia. Asus started spreading ww version.
Ja, true ! just updated 1 hour ago :victory: ! WW version :victory::victory::victory: . do you think it's a coincidence that the update arrived in the same day with the leather case, screen protector and stylus  ?
by the way, which launcher are you using? I like 4.1 style launcher, it's more appropriate for tablet
now I love my transformer even more !!
EDIT: I'm curious about the battery life. Recharing now and drain to 0. I'll report next days
Got mine in the UK. XDA App seems to fit the screen better but thats all so far.

Any thoughts where can I download it from?
Any issues with the HDMI connection? Someone with the US OTA mentioned it. I'm still on 4.1 .

Got mine WW in UK
Mostly OK - restored root with Voodoo OTA with no problem.
BT issue reported on US version exists in WW as well. Had to change permissions as reported in another thread (used ES file explorer) before BT would switch on.
Need to do more testing now...
I have CleanROM Inheritance. How can I install this, if possible?
I have updated mine in Macedonia it's much more faster now
Downloading now also from Macedonia cant wait . . .

hi all,
just got my update a few hours ago in israel and all in all it is just fantastic.
the only problem i can see, which is just annoying, is on the lockscreen.
it seems that the "change wallpaper" that ASUS added to it is "above" the add wisget button. which means that i can't add any lockscreen widgets.
tried to reboot, change to 4.1 home etc' and none helped.
(added a picture)
do any of you have any idea what to do?
thanks!!
zahi
Error while update now the tablet dont pass the ASUS/NVIDIA screen -.-

Well...still no updates for TF300TG WW.
About to update in the UK.
Updated all good... now using the new 4.2 launcher and... the pop-up control panel in the bottom right corner is gone, and a less featured one is in the top right corner.
1) How do I now switch from the three CPU performance mode? (power saving/balanced/performance)
2) How do I quickly switch wifi, GPS etc on/off without having to go to the settings?
3) The new slim bar at the top, takes up extra space? We now have even less available screen space than before?
Anyone saved the update.zip?
Unlocked bootloader and cant get ota updates

HDMI ok here - 1 slght quirk though - I could not unmute sound with the HDMI cabel connected. I had to remove the cable, unmute and reconnect. Once I did this the sound over HDMI was fine.

I use a Qi wireless charging receiver with my Galaxy S4. It works Ok, but as soon as the phone is fully charged the display turns on, and keeps turning on every couple of minutes as the phone continually switches between running on the battery and wireless charging. Since I charge overnight this means that the phone display is flashing on and off for most of the night.
How can I use Tasker to prevent the phone display from turning on while it is on the charger overnight?

Yes I'm rooted - thanks for the tip. I've just installed the Xposed Wireless Charging module (v1.3.1) and unfortunately it doesn't work on the S4 :0(

Hmm....so I did the following:
1. Installed Xposed Wireless Charging 1.3.1
2. Opened app
3. Unticked the "wake on charge" option
3. Ticked the "wake on undock" option
4. Rebooted.
When I place the S4 on the charging pad the screen still turns on and displays the "wireless charging enabled" message. Does yours behave differently?
I should say that I'm running Phoexix ROM v7.3 (which is based on stock XXUEML1)
