It should be pre-installed. If it's not, here is a great app where you can customize it:
Nexus Revamped Live Wallpaper
Thanks! The one I was looking for was the one that was on most of the cm ROMs. It has the darker background.

You're Welcome! I never really seen the darker Nexus live wallpaper . Can you show me?
I wish I could. I can't find it anywhere

What are they? Why are they your favorite
Thee is only one for the KF. It is Hashcode's. You should stop putting "what is the best ROMs" before the mods get mad.

I know. I should've put "Users" instead of "you".

Okay. I can see how that could get annoying in a way

Thread Closed, what are the best Rom, kernel, themes, hacks threads are not allowed, best advice try some and decide for yourself.
I've looked and haven't found anything but figured I'd ask, is there an easy root app for the nexus 7 so I don't have to use a computer sorta like the old school evo?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium HD app
Not that I'm aware of, you have to install the nexus7 toolkit on your pc and connect the N7 by usb to root it.
Bleh that's what I thought oh well will have to wait until friend gets home with the computer

Don't use a toolkit please. I would hate to have to help you unbrick it in this thread or another.
Its very very very simple to do it manually. Its a nexus device.

Hello, all! I do not have a kindle fire hdx and do not plan on getting one, but I want to help out those who DO have one or are planning on getting one. I've been thinking and I was wondering if the hdx was susceptible to the "Master Key" or "Bug 9695860" exploits. To test, please sideload the apk attached below and report back with results. (If the text is all red, that's a good sign)

Framaroot won't work. No offense, but you should leave everything up to the people who actually know what we are doing.

The maturity level of xda members is declining, for sure.

At this point I guess the OP can change the subject line to something like '[CONFIRMED] not working root method'.

You are young and inexperienced... Which is why you should leave stuff to people who actually know what they are doing...

Who the heck are you to tell someone who was willing to actually try something new? I don't care if this is your 1st day trying to root something, an attempt is an attempt. We all start off as young and inexperienced. Instead of trolling his attempt, do something constructive with your time instead of just bashing a young inexperienced dev.
How likely are we to get a root for the HDX?

progress?
Has anyone done anything further towards rooting the HDX 7 model?
Any word on root?....I'd be more than willing to help or test!

Now that Saurik found another root method, try Cydia Impactor again.

Not really new. If it were, I would have said "Good attempt, sucks that it doesn't work :/"
