What type of glue do I use to replace it inside its frame?

I used a reasonable brand of double sided tape on mine. Just cut it down to size. Make sure you strip out the old stuff first..

It is easy. Pop out from frame, glue new and you're done. I just don't know which glue...

Was tired of using screen filter with our ridiculously bright capacitive lights so I tried somthing new, I put a thin strip of electrical tape over the buttons and they still work beautifully. I especially like the rubber feel to the buttons and I'm sure if you put more effort than I did you could probably make stickers with symbols out of electrical tape. I know this probably should go in accessories but c'mon who really checks that often plus I know a lot of ppl have been complaining about the capacitive lights lateley.

That sounds neat, good idea! My only question is does it look jankety? Like did you use an X-acto knife to cut the tape to match the curved bezel? Gotta see them pics

the screen and digitizer are glued together, expensive
It is possible to separate them but it is fiddly, hit and miss, and requires skill and patience.
There is a thread in s3 general about doing it, with a video.
Ahh I thought was separate sorry for misunderstanding

They are very hard to prise apart so my suggestion is live with the scratch and get a screen guard.......always, whenever you get a new phone!
Depending on your phones colour, this is what you will need. He is a UK seller and trusted i can confirm his item is legit. I was playing Basket ball with my brother near my house and the floor was concrete floor. Anyway i took a shot and the phone fell out my jacket pocket and landed face down. The screen protector got totally f'd up and i still got a scratched and a cracked screen.
I was looking at youtube videos on how to replace the screen it looked hard till i found these two items on ebay.
Blue touch panel and metal frame with hardware buttons.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ORIGINAL-...arts_Tools&hash=item5aea0d4273#ht_3037wt_1163
White touch panel and metal frame with hardware buttonss.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ORIGINAL-...arts_Tools&hash=item5aea48657e#ht_4474wt_1163
Anyway so i have a white phone i ordered the white digitizer metal frame thingy it is quite expensive, When it arrived all i did was take my phone apart and take the important parts like the mic, motherboard, front facing camera and etc and swapped it into the new one and it works great again looks brand new as well.
Thanks that's what I'm looking for

Ouch - 1st things first get a screen protector/ seriously to protect the broken glass (not to the protect the phone) / Its probably too early, but u can look for a new digitizer / it's gonna be expensive / i'm assuming you don't have insurance (or the co-pay is really high)/ sorry about the phone...
edit double ouch... ($262)
http://www.etradesupply.com/oem-samsung-galaxy-s4-gt-i9500-lcd-screen-and-digitizer-assembly.html
If u have insurance, i would go that route...
Yeah tell me about it, bad luck and ouch..
I was thinking about the digitiser and stuff, but isn't that for the touch screen function? That works and so the screen, any way to replace the top plastic only?
Sorry if silly question, making suire
Thanks in advance

It's quite a specialist task with a very strong chance of things going wrong (you can see an example here); I would recommend just buying a new digitiser + display.
Damn, I'll see what I can do. From the UK, need to find UK parts

Is it a new install? If so that could be the soapy water solution? Can you tell if it's dust? If it's the solution, you can wrap a credit card in a lint free cloth (microfiber) and squeegee the stuff out as much as you can.

I don't think its soap water...coz im pretty sure i squeeged them out as much as i can...i hope it wont matter much since they're on corners, not on center

It shouldn't matter too much, but you risk of the screen protector to rise up when dried. But try it out. They are XG's so you can get them pretty cheap.
Dude use scotch tape to remove debris.

I couldn't find any repair tutorial's but I did find this [disassembly guide]. It may help...
Once you get the screen out (the ones I've done) you have to use a heat gun and separate the glass from the LCD... It's a big pain when it's shattered...
