[Q] What's the relationship between Lagfix and data2sd?

I have read this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=937328
If I have lagfixed my phone, and I have a 1G ext2 partion in sd card, I have 1G internal memory?
Or I have to do something else in order to data2sd?
Thank you
No...you dont have to do anything else for data2sd
Adb shell df
check data size, if It's correct then It's working.
Can we incorporate the data2sd without the lag fix?
Sent from my GT-I5800 using XDA App
after i've lagfix.my internal memory didn't increase.??
Which lagfix did you trie?
Edit: If you want it easy, flash the apollo firmware: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=978750
then download the sd partitioner from the same thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=978750&page=9
and then you have data2sd ^^

Hey Pauri..!! I know this might not be the best place to ask this, but, is the Apollo v 1.0 stable enough to recommend to people..? I mean considering that he asked us to wait a few weeks for his final release version... :/ just wanted to know that, cos m gonna flash it if its usable

Please Read this. Quick answers would be appreciated.

You can partition using minitools partition wizard. And then you can use Kyrillos' App2SD v2 script to move apps to SD.
Any links for Kyrillos App2SD Script?
i don't think you can use app2sd as it needs a kernel that supports init.d scripts... Stock kernel doesn't so all you can do is:
1) switch to a modded kernel
2) download app2sd app (or somethink similar) from market to move apps to sd
However, i suggest to wait for someone wih more knowledge to answer.
thanks a lot..

Yup. You do need a custom kernel which supports init.d. App2SD script here.

A2SD script

Hey HD2 android users
I am a user who has the constant trouble of low internal memory.
I like and use the NexusHD2 v2.5 by tytung. There is no a2sd script with the rom and the a2sd scripts suggested by tytung cause too many problems(performance lag, issues with app launching, slowing down. etc.)
So the past few days i came upon an a2sd script which worked wonders for me.
No longer does the rom slow down
Here is the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716124
I use the INT2EXT+ script.
Instructions are given.
If u experience low sound.
Fix permissions.
I am NOT a developer. This is NOT my work
Just thought of sharing this with the AWESOME community
Remember to give the developer a thanks
And hope it works for you
Good Luck :good:
Thank you.
Although I am happy with Amarullz Data2ext, your words provoked me :>
"performance lag, slowing down ... etc" -
I might actually give it a shot.

You can find it in "Recovery" > "Advanced"
Or from the ROM itself using the app "ROM Manager"
Great!
Nice job!
This is a versatile tool for Android-handsets with low internal memory.
Now, I can install 100+ apps on my 100MB-free-internal memory phone (Huawei IDEOS X3).
More space, more apps, now worries.
A2SD scripts and GUI utilizes the SD-card EXT partition.
Currently running on 1024MB EXT partition, with 256MB reserved for Swap (Huawei U8510 also has low RAM).
All sincere appreciation goes to DarkTremor. :good:

It release before kurotsugi..
check kurotsugi sign
Learn to SEARCH, OP. There's a search button right on top-right of the screen.
Code:
System.out.println("Sent from my SGY");
I never build a dualboot kernel
its true that I made a tutorial about it since I want to make irfan and dualboot stuff more popular at that time but I never build one. what I do is add init.d support in irfan's kernel and modify it to enable data2sd mode in stock kernel.
Hi guys I used dualboot on my pc,that helped me to select operating system before start my pc.. but how to duAl boot in sgy?? Can we select operating system on startup or something!! please anybody explain me...
Dualboot from irfan only use sdcard to custom rom (dualRom) and its very helpfull developer to test customRom without affraid loosing anything in 1stRom..
Old time ago mai77 open thread bout dualsystem GB with linux but till now i didnt see any update from OP..

Would you be so kind to make data2sd guide ?
