Anyone to share ????
GPU is set in ROM, but I like everything more than stock
CPU I set usually to max. 1.5 ghz and governor interactiv, I/O to cfq
I'm on Clemsyn's Kernel @ 1.7 and it's smooth as butter. Really impressive stuff. Don't realize the stutters at 1.2 until you OC.
ParaniodAndroid w/ Unter's kernel
GPU is set by ROM.
I/O is pegasusq
CPU is set to 1500 with 1700 being the highest. I've ran everything from 1.3 up to 1.7 smoothly.
Sent from my Transformer Pad TF300T using Xparent Purple Tapatalk 2
Running @ 1.3 with Unter kernel with interactive governor and noop scheduler.
Ran it at 1.7 and all was well, just super quick and smooth as is.
I noticed with Clemsyn kernel that if I had frequency set to 1.8 it wouldn't go there unless set to performance where Unter kernel will max out at whatever frequency I set in SetCPU.

Okay, before I overclocked, my score on quadstandered was around 1600, overclocked to 1.5 and got a score of 2300. I left the setting at 1.5 and uninstalled setcpu and tried another test. I got a score of 2800?

which ROM are you running?
I know CM has it's own CPU scaling settings that may have retained the settings from SetCPU after uninstalling
it will set it to the max clock of the kernel you are using (thats if there isnt a built in scaling program with the rom) most kernels will go to 1.5 Ghz some go up to 1.9Ghz. 1.5 should be grand but 1.9 could do some damage having set that the max will be the max you can set setCPU to
Is there a stable 1.3Ghz OC kernel because i tried FuguMod 2.2 BE but my phone overheated.

Except 2.2 FuguMod, No
Maybe you kept 1.3Ghz continously...
Try using OnDemand or Conservative Scaling and profiles of screen off and stuff..

Ohh...those 1300MHz are Alpha kernels and full of bugs..
I've tested it...and i tell you, you dont want those...
better to try using Profiles of SetCPU with 2.2BE

do you got any sugestions for profiles?
SetCPU:
1) Max: 1300 Min: 166 Scaling: Ondemand Set on Boot:Tick
2) Profiles: Enable
Battery < 50% Max:667 Min:166 Scaling: Ondemand Priority: 80
Screen Off Max:222 Min:166 Scaling: Ondemand Priorty: 100
Time(Set the time when you are usually asleep) Max: 333 Min: 166 Scaling: Ondemand Priority: 90
3) Advanced: Set on boot
Up Threshold: 90
PowerSave Bias: 400

What is the best OC frequency and CPU Governor for getting the good performance in X8\W8?

The CPU frequency depends on how much your chipset can handle ( mine can handle up to 806 Mhz with Alfs and 787 Mhz with nAa). for the governor select smartassv2 i think its the best
Yeah, i have the same however i have OC just 768. Let me chck if i can increase

I think that this kind of question is very individual (cause depends of phone).
For me, SmartASS consumes 2x more battery than Ondemand. (dont know why)
Forma me 19-712Mhz
Sent from my E15i using XDA App
Cpu frequency? For me its 724MHz. Any higher and my phone reboots
Sent from my X8 using XDA App
i can go up to 800mhz and more
but when i set to 860mhz my phone rebooted
For me its 787mhz with Naa Kernal and Smartass V2 governor.
for me 245-748mhz is stable with smartass v2
using cm7.2v9+alfs ics v7
Can someone tell me what the default values for the kernel that comes with build 5 are? I normally use Franco, but have been having some issues with it lately and want to try going back to regular kernel. After I flashed AOKP kernel back it shows the cpu settings as Minimum cpu 1026, On demand, and CFQ. I don't think those are right. I thought it was interactive with 384 min and deadline?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi,
All is fine. The 1026 Mhz min CPU freq is normal and it's like stock. It's for a "smoother experience" that when you touch the screen the min CPU freq goes to this freq for a time and after goes down to 384 Mhz, it's the Mpdecision stuff, some kernel devs have disable it for battery life and you can set the 384 Mhz freq as a minimum CPU freq "all the time" (related to the Cpu load). As for the governor it's Ondemand by defaut, i/o scheduler too.
Do a little search for more detailed information...
Nothing is wrong here...
Thanks for the confirmation!
I guys i want to show you this fantastic score.
I am using dn4 v2.1.
What do you thing?

Loving the score. Got the same thing in mine. What settings did you use to get that score

Agni main profiles: gaming
Governor: zzmoove game
Scheduler int sd : row
Scheduler ext sd: cfq
Cpu max frequency: 2000
Gpu frequency: 440/700
Gpu threshold: performance
With this setting you will have incredible performances, but at the same time a monstrous battery drain xd.
Our note 2 is still a good phone also for gaming.
