Try wiping cache/dalvik.

Doesn't seem it will be today I'll let you know as soon as I get it.
I am thinking of moving this to the development section. I think it might get more visibility but I was hoping someone would try it first to make sure it at least inits. Let me know if there are any objections.

OK, has anyone else tried? I am not sure why CWM would still be installed.
Still CWM.
I gave it a try, but it just still has CWM. I did a reboot to recovery from Terminal, but CWM just comes up.
No errors when running the command lines.
Tried again... Failed
Hi bigbiff,
I thought I would try it again, just to make sure and this time I got some error text.
So I did SU and followed the command lines as before but I got "write error: No space left on device".
Followed by: 8193+0 records in, 8192+0 records out, 4194304 bytes transferred in 0.752 secs (5577531 bytes/sec) .
I have attached a screenshot of the Terminal Emulator with the message.
It still goes to CWM recovery.
Is it possible to get this in a .tar to flash via Mobile Odin? (just a thought)
Thanks
Working... via Mobile Odin flash!!!

Hi bigbiff,
I was really determined to get this working and I managed to get it to work!!!
I took your .img and created a .tar.md5 and flashed it via Mobile Odin, it worked like a charm! :victory:
I have attached some pics and let me know if you want the .tar.md5 and what tests you would like.
Thanks!
I finally got my Note 2. Let me know if I can test.

This is good news. I really like TWRP recovery.
Gratz apascual89 for getting it working as well!
I have tested the themes and backups bothe worked for me. Also adb shell and timezone bothe worked.
Permissions fix just seems to sit there even thought it says its done.
Reboot to bootloader boots to recovery and reboot to power off just reboots.
Thanks again bigbiff.

Have you renamed or changed anything in the backup??
Try to restore advance....it may helps you.

No, advance restore won't help. Wipe data and cache then flash a custom rom rather than reverting to stock again.

No! Don't do that! In my experience, flashing custom roms after something bad happens always saves my phone. Just do what you want sir.

Hi Guys
I installed the official Gingerbread that is available from the Huawei site. Install was successful however phone boots fine for the first time but once i reboot it I am stuck in boot loop on Huawei logo. Recovery is reset to default so cannot flash anything that way.
I cannot root the phone via SuperOneClick as it needs logging switched on (Requires reboot).
When I access pink screen no drive is mounted in windows.
How can i remedy this problem?

Same issue...I got stucked with boot animation with both cr3pt's CM11 and PA4.1 roms...and don't know what to do...I am able to launch CWM but that's all...I can install the roms only from external sdcard and this leads only to neverending boot animation...tried 3times with both CM11 and PA roms but still the same result...
Please help, this is my mother's phone and unless I solve this I'll have to lend her my own SGSII with slimKAT which I really don't want to
EDIT: Did wipe of all possible things and it worked...however still I can't say I know what really worked and led me to success

It's seems to be a noob answer but my phone (p705) when I'm using CM builds dont boot when the power cable is conected, i dont know the reason that this happen, but it works only when there is no cable conected, it seems to be a silly problem but can happen

Little late if you look better I have edited my post saying after manual wiping it worked but thanks anyway...strange is that if you only choose "wipe data" from the initial menu it's not working or rather it's not enough and you really have to wipe manually data/system/sdcard via mount and storage menu...
On Samsung devices this has never been needed and "standard" wiping via main menu in recovery mode was enough to flash a new rom without issues...at least it's fine we know this is not applicable to our L7 devices and that we know the way how to fix it in future

It's normal when you've installed Bootloader on your phone. It won't boot while connected to power source.
