Hello. I installed ROM 7.8 by Ansar, after installation there is a problem with graphic user interface(tiles are black and white mostly). Anotoher issue is that Marketplace dosn't work properly and most of application when I click on them just go back to the menu. Anybody same problem?? Or solution??? Thanks.

Hoping there's a simple explanation for this annoying problem ...
Upgraded my XDAII to WM2003SE - all went smoothly and fine. Extended ROM installed IntelliDial and also IntelliPad.
Now IntelliDial works just fine, no problems at all. IntelliPad however I cannot get to work. It's installed correctly (as it shows up in the drop down menu on Settings/Input) ..
However when I goto Notes, or Create New Message, I still get the standard keyboard. If I 'hit' the keyboard logo (bottom right of the screen), then amongst the options that 'pop-up' I get an entry for IntelliPad. If I select IntelliPad however, nothing happens - it still defaults back to keyboard !!!
What am I doing wrong ??? Any idea's ?

Sounds strange, probably something went wrong during install.
What version do you use?
How about un-install & re-install?
I installed the one that was posted by DCS in the external ROM package @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=13588&start=0
It's on an UK O2 XDAII.
Can anyone recommend another suitable IntelliPad download perhaps ?

I might have fixed it
Downloaded the German IntelliPad that was posted @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=13066&highlight=.
Changed the language to English and it now appears ? Maybe there is a problem with the other version ?
The German version that I downloaded is v1.0 (Build 17286) - anyone know what version / build number the DCS is ?

I have installed IntelliPad & IntelliDialer on my XDA,, it worked just fine, but it killed my GPRS connection
I can't connect to GPRS no more, I have to hard reset my device
anyone can help??!!!!!!

sorry. u need to search for others help. i myself also don't know how to uninstall it. there is no uninstall for this. manual job is needed.
I am facing this unique problem after i upgraded to official Windows 6.1 ROM.
Whenever i am in explorer/ Programs and I want to select a certain entry I hit the screen, the page scrolls rather than the entry getting selected.
I am earlier ROM (Windows 6.0) i had no such problems.
I have performed the screen orientation several number of times, but even after that it is the same.
Is there some setting that will prevent this behavior?

I've tried some PDAVIET wm 6.1 rom and...
the latest rom that works fine with my elfin is TOUCH WM6.1 ROM V60 (BLUE & BLACK VERSION) - Build 20758.1.4.1 (Manila2D):
After v62 all the roms are "build" on RUU_Elfin_hTC_Asia_India_3.07.720.03_4.1.13.71_03. 34.90_BLUE_Ship
and I think that this is the problem...

I've found two solution in my search resoults.
The first is Changing touch.dll at this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2888346&highlight=butter#post2888346
The second one is to change the pagehigh and pagelow value in registry http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2888073&postcount=78 .
I've only tried the second one without changing the touch.dll file, and it works fine!!

Changing simply touch.dll will not work, you'll need to change Biotouch.dll as well because sometimes you'll get random program shutdowns while scrolling (another butter finger issue). The latest Onyx ROM for 6.1 has the fix already.

i just upgraded my diamond to the new rom version 2.03 (german). since then, i can't use my igo8 (version 8.0.0.54000) anymore.
everytime i search a location and click the button in order to set this location as the destination, the app freezes/hangs.
has anyone experienced the same? is there a solution to this problem? i love igo8 and i wanna use it again

is it an orginal Rom ? and what is your free ram befor you start igo.
i think you running out of memory some way.

you can't read! it wouldn't have worked with his previous rom with an incorrect sys file
I only experienced this when my manila wasn't disabled. since then I allways disable manila before I use iGo. Or maybe you should try an other rom
thanks for your replies. i tried them all (disabling tf3d, even disabling phone functionallity). i don't know if its a memory issue, since there's more free ram since the rom upgrade.
i found out another thing: when the location is found, a map is beeing shown with the mentioned buttons shown below (e.g. set as destination, options, back...). i can pan and zoom the map without any problems, but no matter which button i click (even the back or info button), the app freezes. what a pitty!

I'm using same rom 2.03 and Igo Version 8.0.0.55127 with TTS
and having no problems. Do you have Menu animations enabled? If yes disable them and try again. I Remember that this animations made some crash problems on some igo versions. Maybe this helps

If menu animation is enabled it only crashes when you quit iGo. You should try an other igo version.

But it is not necessary anymore cause i installed a new rom
If you installed a new rom then it was erased. Whenever you hard reset or install a new rom then everything you installed previously and all settings are erased.

I faced some weird problem on my hd mini. After I downloaded this rom: [ROM][31.01.2011][WWE-ITA-FRA-ELL-GER-RUS-SPA-NLD-DAN] ver 2.30 nsourm -build 23152 - I could'nt change my sound, only in options.
Anyone know how to fix this? Thx.

did you made a Hard Reset after flashing the ROM?
Changing your sound has to be done in Settings.--> Sounds. And if you have Manila: Settings tab.--> Menu --> All --> Sounds and notifications.
I did hard reset after flashing. And madmatt, you dont get it, I cant change volume in fast way, my buttons dont work, I dont know why, but this is after flashing rom.
maybe it's better to flash the original rom and see if it works.
then flash the cooked rom and again check if it works before installing any software or customization.
Yep, if it doesnt work with a stock ROM, I think it's a hardware problem...

I'm using the WWE ROM and never had this problem!!! check your installed software or customizations! I'm nearly sure that the ROM is ok!!!
check if it's the Taskbar customization! some Taskbar from the main Windows Dev group have volume control problem and there sould be a fix for it!
