If it's GT-p7510, it can't be 3G.

No matter what you do to it, you can't change the fact that its 7510. You can flash anything or edit anything you want and it will still be 7510. Sorry bro, you bought a wifi only tab.

Any Help Regarding 3g Firmware ?
If you claim yours is 3G ver just flash the Overcome 10.1 Series v1.2.1 KI1 (P7500 version).
p7500 = 3G
p7510 = wifi only
What's on the box is pretty much irrelevant. If it has a SIM slot, it must be a 7500. If you flashed a 7510 ROM on it apparently that changed the model number and your Tab now thinks it’s a Wi-Fi version. You need to flash back to a 7500 ROM. The 7510 and 7500 ROM's aren't interchangeable. If that doesn't work, somebody sold you a Wi-Fi version that for some strange reason has a SIM slot. I take it you didn’t buy this new from an authorized Samsung dealer.

Overcome has a P7500 version, it uses build KI1. Install that and you will get 3G back.

What does it show when you plug in to Keis? If Keis still sees it as a 7500 you can do an emergency restore from there. If not, look in the dev section. I'm sure somebody's posted a 7500 ROM there. If it's a different CSC then you want/need, do a search. There's instructions on how to change the sales code.
Just a quick look in the Development section will find you a 7500 ROM dude...
And the moral of the story is read first, flash later.
Here u can Download several Firmware-Versions:

So I own the Telecom NZ version of the Galaxy Y. The only difference this phone has to the other version is that it supports the 850mhz 3G band in conjunction with the standard 2100mhz band.
I have managed to root the stock rom the phone came with (DOKK3 2.3.6), and I wanted to install Creeds Rom 3.5. I wiped the phone, flashed the rom and restarted, but my camera didn't work. I'm now back on stock DOKK3 (lucky I made a backup, because I can't find the original firmware anywhere else).
Is this because of the radio/baseband? It is currently DOKK3. Does it need to be anything specific? Would flashing an international radio disable the 850mhz 3G band?
Thank you for listening to all my questions

You're from Cologne! How cool. I'll check out that link, and yes, my phone is a prepaid carrier branded one. However I haven't read anything about roms for it because it's only sold in New Zealand and there are probably only like 10,000 of them out there.
Thanks!
Don't suppose you have a flashable version of your DOKK baseband I could download? I made the stupid mistake of flashing my phone with an international version after I bricked it and didn't make a backup. Now it's not showing the XT network anymore.

Hey Ketchup,
I also have the Telecom NZ galaxy y and have experienced the same issue regarding the camera, and the accelerometer is also out by 90 degrees. However I did not make a backup of the stock rom
Can you please please please upload your copy of the stock rom so that I can download it? It would be very much appreciated as right now my phone is nearly unusable :crying:
Thanks very much

My god, finally a person with my phone who understands, what important wondering is what file controls the autorotation in the roms and can it be replaced with the stocks version?

Starweaver1 emailed me a link to a site where you can download the ODIN files for the original Telecom firmware. There has also been a revised firmware version released in September(?) of 2012 that features an updated lockscreen similar to the galaxy s3's. I might upload it here soon if you guys want.
Ive got a Samsung galaxy tab which has a reference band base version P7500UBKL1
While searching for a custom rom I ran across different versions of the tablet XXLQ8 or XWLP5 or UELPL
My main question is, Could i flash any of these roms and have it working?
If i do flash one of these would i loose the ability to use 3g? or would it just brick it? thank you for the support.

XXLQ8 is for Italy, XWLP5 for Baltic countries and third, I don't know (USA?). I think all of them are working in 7500. While
installing You can select Your native language, and that's all. In certain regions, as in Finland where I'm from the official ICS
is going to come maybe in some months, so nowadays I have installed Toldo's Jellybean ICS v.6 and it's working just great.

Hi guys, my dad is bring a n9008 back from China. It has the qualcom 800 cpu onboard. I have done alot research on this phone, and only found the guide to root and flash recovery. So my question is: is it possible to flash roms made for other variants( such as n9005) onto n9008? Since the n9008 won't support the wifi calling from TMO, i would rather put a CM or AOSP on it.

as always, you got your phone from china, get help there, in other words, if you want support, get yor phones in your own country, imagine this, you will get a warranty also, is not that amazing?, yes you save some money buying overseas, or from a no one knows about seller, but, at the end, you get no support, think abot that in the future,
Pray its not a fake

well i got the phone as a gift. so its not my choice at first place.
so far i'm able to install all of the n9005 roms(x note, omega, lidroid) and everything works flawlessly.
the tmobile rom can be installed normally, but i just cant turn on the wifi( it stucks at turning on screen)
anyone got a solution to that?
Now you can install a CM11 ROM!
I too have been given a GN3 as a gift but it's the N9008 model.
I tried flashing the latest N9005 KK stock firmware, but I had no luck.
Do you know if there's a possibility of "changing" the model to a N9005? Hardware wise I believe they are exactly the same?
I imagine LTE is also not on this particular model? Am I correct to say that all Snapdragons are capable of having LTE? Would it be the firmware that "enables" LTE?
I don't really want to be on the Chinese firmware.
I've rooted the device and got gapps on their, but I'd rather a proper international firmware.
If anybody can help, it'd be great.

only Differences is Software.. Due to laws in the us being Different in different regions of the world They use model numbers to Determine which region the device is for. The link posted above Shows they can Run the SAME Software so should tell THEY ARE The same Hardware wise.
With the above said. It seems the 8013 us version has a newer boot loader...
