[Q] stuck on rooting of X5 by super1click

im rooting my X5 by using super1click....it work....but.....
im stuck on:
"shell rooting device....- step#1 -----shellcCommand---0.14s
shell rooting device....- step#2 -----ShellCommand----0.14s
shell rooting device....- step#3 ------push file --------0.03s
shell rooting device....- step#4 ------changemode-----0.13s

is it i did something wrong?

What version of superoneclick, did u turned off usb debugging and fast reboot? Also dont mount sd card.

no...i tick usb debug mode and fast boot as well, it reach what i mentioned....BUT i follow your word....super1click doenst root at all...

I Had A Same Problem Before With B512 ROM. I Did Change Boot.img Then It Worked.
Follow This Step.
Switch Off Your Phone.
Press Volume+ , Volume- And Power Button.
It Show Pink Screen.
Plug In Your Micro USB Cable.
Computer Will Show One USB Drive.
Open That
Open Image Folder.
Cut Boot.img And Paste Somewhere In Your PC Where You Can Retrieve It For Backup.
Copy Attached Boot.Img In Image Folder.
Restart Phone.
Then Try To Root It Will Work For Sure.

I also had that problem, I think the problem is with the firmware version, after I installed the B526 firmware it rooted with superoneclick without any problem. Try to install the B526 version.

So how to do it? It just restarts the phone and starts in cwm, than reports error...

I have problem with this, does it mean I don't have brain ? Anyway I downloaded cwm and run recovery.bat when I did this my zte restarted and freeze with androind icon (this one during turning on) First thing I thought it was I have bad drivers so i get this PdaNet but still my phone restart during this recovery.bat and as this program says I still have bad drivers;/ What should i do?

Don't work for me
I tried all posible drivers to root this and I can't. I go through first part, my phone restarts, shows Android Logo,and stops there. I need to pull out battery to work with him.Also, it disappears from windows task bar as a remote device. What's wrong?
EDIT: I used another PC with Windows 7 Home Premium and it worked!!!

I tried to root the phone using the method above, and when i started recovery.bat, it all went well, but after it finished, my phone restarted and froze on first screen... I did removed the battery and turned the phone on, not in cwm mode, and it went well, i can use my phone and all that... When i tried to boot it in cwm again, it froze again... Anyone can help me?

If you get stuck in the android logo after it reboots by itself, you have to change the recovery image in the cwm folder.
download the recovery image from here https://www.mediafire.com/?z1rmgt9cc6hdjzb
remove the old recovery.img from the cwm folder and put this file instead. then rename it to recovery.img instaed of the long name it had before the .img. that sloved it for me. thanks to the person that posted here: http://www.modaco.com/topic/360389-recovery-clockworkmod-6049-for-zte-blade-iii/

I got exact same problem. gotta old a mini. super phone, sat nav, MP3 player, ran quake perfectly, decided for dinner reason to factory reset, now just endlessly bootloops. sure I had a custom recovery, but no idea if debugging enabled. would love to get this phone back

to get out of that update, I had to flash cwm as recovery, and then flash a update from www.ztedevices.com

Download "Update package of Android GB for OPEN device" from this link and then flash it from recovery. You should be able to use your device again on 1.0

Well, if you installed this ROM then you should be able to root by this method and then you can install custom recovery.

that method for me as like asking me to make new window 11
the Q, why if i try to install any SD update it say signature failed?

Sorry, my english is not trained...
I ve updated my defy to cm-7.2.0-jordan with 2ndinit
But I had problems with Gapps.
So, I ve tried to update to CM11, with TWRP
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2515036)
but, it involved 2 files I havent found new_boostrap.zip & resize.zip...
So I ve tried a method I found on another site (witch I can't find again...)
Now, TWRP says "No Os installed"
I'm able to go to TWRP, to launch ADP daemon, to push file using
"adb push filename /sdcard/"
But for now, Watherver File I've tried, theyre's no change: still no os installed, still google logo followed by a green light and a black screen...
I'm lost...
I suppose I haven't find the good files?
Any advice?

i brick hundreds of times my 2 defys and always able to bring them alive with.... DEFY\[BL7][ROOT]MB525 single SBF.sbf ...... that i found 4 years ago...dont have a link...i only know that is 362MB...

and after reboot stucked on boot screen
i entered recovery i tried to copy the update file but when the process started it ended with a message no firmware found
any suggestions?

SuperSU not support nougat(7.0).
You must now enter the recovery mode (volume + and power), connect the phone to the computer by usb, a disk will appear, copy the firmware and flash the phone.
On android 7+ you can not use supersu

I'm haven't windows and Mac, in Linux all fine. The file copied to the phone is temporary, it disappears after reboot

Use root from settings. Recovery is locked in pro6+ and not support custom recovery
