Nougat testers, how's the battery life of the beta? Is it increased?

Or more like so-so? Please do let know!
Thanks!
So far, in my experience, it is inferior to some of the Note 7 ports that were there, and the stock MM S7 Roms easily outlast this Nougat ROM. Maybe it is because of debugging/logging code that won't let the phone stay in deep sleep.

MHA-AL00C00B203 (EMUI 5.1 Early Beta) Findings and Discussion

It's now possible to install MHA-AL00C00B203, an EMUI 5.1 early beta. For more information, see here:
Mod edit: links removed
I would like to have this thread for people who have installed it to discuss new findings in EMUI 5.1
For me so far, I've found that the battery seems to drain less, but that might be subjective.
I've noticed a definite improvement in touch response time, and time to open/switch between apps.
I haven't noticed any new features, otherwise, but they might be there somewhere.
The installation requires a lot of work which can be quite a pain, but it does seem to be stable, as I haven't had any crashing or anything so far.
Anyway, if you're running it, what do you think? How's performance for you? How's battery life? Did you find any new features? Let us know.
you there man are good in helping this community, but u use other ppls work (twrp n superuser zips )without give credit to them by upload to your own server or another cloud.well at least paid some respect for those who work on the zips.i know your service r the only way for m9 to get revive Thier device (besides c636 n al00) but at least respect other ppl works.no offence i am not saying u r service is not good its still the only way for those who doesnt wanna rebrand their phone to other region nor root their device to recover their phone from semi brick/brick.
sorry for derailing from topic.
Peace Out!!
I paid 30.77 USD to by 5 credits and have just update my mate 9 to B173 and now been downloading B203.
Paid for services are not allowed on XDA!

Developer preview, will test.

Good evening everybody, I have recently downloaded and installed the new Android O developer preview, and I am loving it! Seems like response time with many things has been improved, I am still testing battery life and will post on this thread. Also if any developers would like to test root or apps, please let me know and I will gladly be the test dummy,
There is already at least one thread open on this topic.

There are several updates:
1. Beta
2. First public, official release, which was delayed and has issues with QC modem (losing band 20)
3. Second public, official release has issues with QC modem (losing band 20)
4. Supplementary update with 82 MB of size, some people are reporting it fixed band 20 issue, but no details how and when did they get that
I have this issue and I really want to know the details.
Sorry if i ask here, but, the dark theme in the new Update, why when i select it, it doesn't do anything?

P.s. I've installed official pie, and I'm getting a bit of battery drain. Just a bit worse than Oreo 8.1
Treasure, keep a community section cleaned should be our first goal, so that users can find informations more fast that opening 10 threads about the same topic. Don't you think it does make sense?
Now XDA seems the Xiaomi MIUI forum, where people open threads for every single news, update, info and these threads are not considered by anyone. 5 years ago it wasn't like that, as it was clean and very tidy; now it is all messed up thanks to people like you [emoji2]
However about the battery draining, I get 1h SOT so there must be something very bad in the release
Guys we know everyone is excited about Pie updates and there are multiple existing threads running about Pie already so we would request users not to open new threads. Also, if you see something that doesn't seem right or is possibly against the rules, please do not reply, just report it for the Moderator Team to investigate and take any necessary action. We have also provided "ignore user" functionality that can be used to filter comments as and when required. Never discuss or reply to a post to saying Reported and please help us maintain the secrecy for all mod actions.
Please follow the forum rules and enjoy your Pie
Happy Holidays,

82 MB update is just the incremental OTA of Pie build V10.0.3 for those who were already on Pie V10.0.2, it's not a different ROM.

Is the communitry for k3gxx (exynos) dead?

like seriously, there have not been any development as far as I can remember. I never heard any news about anything and suddenly the community for the k3gxx just dies and left alone while the other variants get oreo and pie while we were left alone in nougat
The k3gxx variant development is happening at a very slow pace as the number of developers are less .
K3gxx is so unfortunate
The Devs were gud at 1st then virus stuck em
A virus of under appeciation fueled by misunderstanding nd misplaced passion
Currently there is minimal progress to achieve oreo
So stay tuned.
huy if the truth is that we are unlucky
for now we will continue enjoying 7.1.2
and in my case I'm with mokee rom
great stable
and we will spy on future news
I don't have this variant myself but, the best I can locate is the following Unofficial LineageOS 15.1 builds for the k3gxx device by @Brunowp8.

Good Luck!
