I've downloaded a few themes for go launcher ex and beautiful widgets and whenI go to change to them they aren't there? is this due to compatibilityissues? my tab isn't rooted.
Maybe you installed Cyanogenmod themes, those themes are not for Go Launcher.

No, I'm not *that* much of a noob themes are trying to be installed via theme previewer built into go launcher.. It's more like themes default dir is different from where the themes are installed.

Hey guys, greetings from over at the SGS4G section. My wife has a mt4g and wants some more themes... But she won't let me root it or change it in any way...lol.
So.. are there any themes that she can add to the stock rom?

No, not without root. Your only option is to change the look of the homescreen by using a third-party launcher like LauncherPro or ADW. Those offer a lot of customization and can be used without root. Launcher themes don't change near as much of the phone's appearance as a full system theme does though.
Dxtop, go launch

Thanks guys, just wasn't certain since it came with the sense themes

yep, best bet is the hundreds of different themes with 3rd party launchers.. adw/launcher pro. If she wants wants to change the look of her icons i think anycut or bettercut doesnt require root. Desktop visualizer is worth a look ad well.

Go launcher ex is free and has a bunch of themes. Also they are icon packs u can choose if you put them on your sdcard from the themes section I believe. Desktop visualizer will let you change the icons on screen and go launcher will let you put custom icons on the bottom bar.

hi everyone, have my s2 for 2 days now and just downloaded new themes, problem is i dont know how to switch to those new themes
Themes from the Market is usually for launchers like ADW Launcher and LauncherPro etc.
Therefore you have to download the launcher its made for, and apply it in the settings.

Hi,
I have three home screens that I don't use, is it possible to remove them?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Install a launcher like Apex, etc and you can pick how many screens you want. You can't change the stock without modification.

I'm working on a custom launcher based on the JB launcher and it will have this feature (already does).
4.2.1 here. Anyone that figured out how to delete unnecessary home screens?
You can't with the stock launcher. As stated above, you can install apex or nova launcher (or any other custom launcher), or just ignore those extra screens, google decided 5 screens is the way to go, and there's not much we can do about that.

Well, that's what I was afraid of. I use on my mobile Go Launcher Ex and I am pretty happy with it. However here I was wondering if I can get a 3 panel screen in stock without any other additional software. Hope someone will figure it out someday.

I agree I'm using holo launcher plus & its by far the best
make sure you also get holo notifier so it shows how many unread txts emails or missed calls you have but only works with plus version
you can also get holo locker for a jelly bean style key lock
Holo Launcher + modded famework-res. apk and SystemUI.apk (Root needed for editing those .apk) just like mine
i think im a little OCD and hate non stock apps being mixed with stock. is there anyway to change it so i can create folders and rearrange it to how i want it to look like? without using homescreen

if you mean is making folders inside app drawer then you can yous adw or go launcher for that
Nova Launcher Prime also lets you create folders, and in my opinion is faster than ADW and light years faster than Go Launcher.
These apps are all good and we'll but I don't like the ICS look and I would like something permanent and not an app like a root mod or something..
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium HD app
That doesn't make sense, just get a new launcher. It is permanent.
