wifi thethering

hello.
i have rooted my htc tattoo and installed android wifi teetering from market.
but i can connect to tattoo with my laptop or my tablet.
it shows that thetering is running but nothing happens.
is there any other possibility.

Which version of android are you using??

I have the same problem! I have Android 2.3.7! I tried the cyanogen 7.2..........nFinity 1.14........and click-JoyOs release 1......... unfortunately on any of these rom tethering works! Do you have any suggestions? Thanks

I have cyanogen and tethering works flawlessly.

I was wrong! tethering has always worked,with all roms, but my galaxy S2 not find it!
I do not know 'why!
tablet with wifi tethering works without problems, but not with the galaxy S2! for tethering I used the application BARNACLE!

I startet this Thread because i could not reply to the thread of DZO.
I will only say that this ROM - Version 5.0 update 4, which is not more available in the posting, is working well.
I have no more reboots.

i am using the same rom and i had two reboots. the first one, when i closed the bluetooth (also it finds devices but not connected) and the second when my phone was charged and next i tried to close wifi. Otherwise, his rom is excellent!!!!!!!

Both Version 5.0 update 4 and update 5 cant use camera (can not connect to camera error). Is it same on your phones?

Version 5.0 update 7 crash log
Wi-fi stops working, I tried to turn off .. freeze and restart the phone

Going from update 2 to update 5 gave me a bootloop and I don't know why... any ideas?

Hi, i have no more problems with reboots or with other functions, but if i am using bluetooth my battery drains very very fast.
Can somebody try the bluetooth function.

Now i updatet it to 9. But the bluetooth pairing is now without function. I testet the rom from paul milbank then bluetooth pairing is ok but now i can not activate wifi.

Are you using NOOP? If not, try change it to it.

Today I updated my u8800 with the update 11, and my camera stopped working... I get an error, whenever I try to access it... Can anyone help me?

hi mauro thank you, before this i tried the new pika b930 1.0.3 but it rly sucks D: cant even start it, stuck on bootanimation for very long time all times, ui system always crash, cant use it at all, rly, dont know if its cos smth went bad in the installation, uh and only 2 langs, but then i tried yours and all went for the best thank you
a question if i can, if i set the density back to 200, will some apps in the market be not compatible anymore? (is for that you changed back to 240 right?!)

for pika 1.0.3 you have to install it over the 1.0.1 without any wipe
it works then

Temple Run not running in this ROM. anyone facing the same problem.

Tried this rom for some hours.
I went back to b928 because is more fluid, but everything was working.
I didn't tried tvout.

very good rom! Thanks! a little issue: if quick reboot is on, power off doesn't work, the phone just reboot.

I think it's only a Mauro's bluff! I can hear only audio, but that's the same behaviour of all other roms! (I didn't try Horse, I'll never return to Froyo!) so I think return with Frozen Pika...

oh i try with music, but i think this is a problem of gallery but if you go to app installated you look tv-out

I extract Browser.apk and try install it from Cm 10.1 rom, but i can't install..

why not use chrome browser from Google. It's essentially the same browser. Just curious, what's it say when you try, sorry this application cannot be installed?

Simply.. Chrome don't have flash support, and default browser have it..
In oppo, I try Dolphin, Firefox, Opera but nothing..
Edit me: I see one solution here, and works with old dolphin!

I get an error: 'Parse Error: There is a problem parsing the package'
EDIT: Turned out I had a newer version (4.2.1) and we're still running (4.1.1)
However, i have noticed a few quirks now I've got it working.. For instance, try doing anything in the options menu and you'll see that the bottom of the page has graphical bugs.
More of a nuisance is the fact that for some reason when I type a search in the URL bar it directs me to m.baidu.com (chinese search engine) eventhough I've specified google.com as the search engine...
Any idea on how to fix those things? And did you experience them yourself?

Windows 8.1 WOL doesn't works!

The wol in my windows 7 works correctly but in windows 8.1 doesn't works. I have disabled the hybrid boot but still doesn't works. The solution for now is the hybernation, only when is in the hybernation state the wol works!
Have you a solution?

Nope, both S3 and S4 works fine with WOL for me, id hazard a guess at either a BIOS or a driver incompatibility, i say driver because if it doesn't go in to sleep state correctly it might not wake either.

Disable Fast startup, read here http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/6320-fast-startup-turn-off-windows-8-a.html

Not sure if you fixed the problem already, but I had the same situation as you (working in 8, not working in 8.1)
The driver that 8.1 installed for my network card broke the WoL, so I just updated my card driver and it WoL is working.
