Just installed with Odin and it wiped everything on the internal drive. Luckily I had a full Titanium backup and recovered that.
Seems fine so far!

Touchwiz had crashed a couple of times initially but been fine since. May be to do with the fact I had done a complete restore with TB and overwritten something.
The ink effect is cool (only works with the S Pen) and the customizable notification panel is great.
This phone is really pushing the boundaries where the iphone and iOS is stagnating. Well done Samsung!
Keith

Installed, included repartition with .pit file.
Why you suggest to not install it?
thanks

Nothing so far, no FC of any apps seems nice and stable.

Hello. Could I get "Ink Effetst" separate file of this firmware?
To make it work on non-official ROM 4.1.2 on the first Galaxy Note (N7000).
Thanks in advance : O

Appreciate this update. I agree, Sammy must be smoking some pot to release GB instead of ICS. Unless the're aware of the ICS Kernel Bug and don't want to risk the number of ICS crashes in India

Yeah, kinda expected. Hoping that the official Indian version of ICS releases soon.
Strangely No OTA notification and when i check manually in settings still shows no update. Currently updating from KIES but it deadly slow.
I am willing to wait for ICS till the samsung owns up the EMMC bug and fix it.
Started downloading via KIES. Will update once done.

Well I took the plunge. First I tried Criskelo's ICS V5.1, but I didn't like the theme and very quickly found things that didn't work properly, so then I tried stock LQ2, using Mobile Odin Pro to keep root and the CF-Root V5.6 kernel.
It's early days, but so far I'm happy. Getting set up was a pain - it was only after 2 attempts that I discovered that Bookmark Sort & Backup isn't ICS compatible and was screwing up my Browser. I therefore had to do 2 complete wipes using CF-Root v5.6. This claims to have (probably) fixed the superbrick bug, and it certainly worked fine for me - whew!
I'm missing all the toggles of Jkay because there isn't a version of the 15 toggle mod for stock LQ2, but hopefully that'll come soon and SwipePad replaces the quick launcher panel nicely.
So no regrets yet, but there's still the odd lag here and there, and I can't say it's a significantly better experience. Also I can't sketch to save myself, so the new S-Pen applications aren't important to me. Still, got to move with the times! There's still nothing to replace my wonderful Note.
UK ICS Build (Carphone Warehouse) for Note is super stable
DQ of the day?
Downloaded & installed N7000XEULP4 via this site.
I intend to root again as mobile odin failed to inject root - yes I followed the good Dr's direction.
I used PC Odin, reset to factory in stock recovery (post flash) after 15min wait at the Samsung logo (very tentatively re-set due to massive information about deleting killing partitions, mmc sections etc & the unit is now one stock ics 4.0.3
So after I have rooted following http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360.
I wish to re-load a previous ics (paranoid android) am I likely to hit the 'brick-wall')?
Need to ask I killed one note already :mad,

[Leaked Firmware] N7000XXLSA (4.1.2) - ODIN Firmware from Samsung's Server [28-11-12]

N7000XXLSA – Galaxy Note Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean TEST firmware
We of SamMobile would like to give you the latest N7000XXLSA Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Test firmware for the Galaxy Note GT-N7000. N7000XXLSA is the first ever Jelly Bean leak for the Galaxy Note which is based on Android 4.1.2.
As of now all test firmwares of the Galaxy Note we have got our hands on lack some S-Pen features, Samsung has yet to implement S-Pen features into their Jelly Bean source code. Our Insiders tell us the Jelly Bean update is almost ready for the Galaxy S II but the Galaxy Note still requires a lot of work till they start rolling out final updates to the users. We expect Samsung to release official Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Note in December/January.
READ THIS:
We know N7000XXLSA was leaked few days ago on XDA-Developers but that was not the complete firmware as that firmware was dumped from a person's device. Later that day, We of SamMobile contacted our insider and requested the N7000XXLSA firmware. Today our insider managed to get us the proper N7000XXLSA Firmware directly from Samsung's Servers. This Test firmware is just like any other official firmware, you just need to flash the firmware with Odin and you are all set! No need to flash any fixes later on. We have FULLY TESTED this firmware and this firmware works perfectly as any other official firmware.
Some of the Enhancements in the new Jelly Bean Update:
- Android 4.1.2 - Build JZO54K
- Buttery Smooth Performance & Great Stability (Thanks to Project Butter)
- Multi-View (Multi Windows Multitasking, same as in Note II)
- Multi-View can also be disabled
- Page Buddy
- Notification Panel can now be customized
- New Additions in Notification Panel
- Smart Rotation (Screen Display adjusts to your angle of sightings)
- Continues Input in Samsung Keyboard (Like Swipe or Android 4.2 Keyboard)
- Samsung's Cloud services
- Direct Call, Smart Stay and Pop-up Play Features
- New Widgets From the Galaxy S III
- 2 Home screen modes
- New Notifications bar
- Google Now
This is a PRE-RELEASE version not official from KIES.
As this is a PRE-RELEASE firmware so expect some minor bugs.

it only has 1h and 10mins since it's been posted, you could try it and be the first to give their impressions about it and see if it's any different, thanks in advance if you decide to do it mate.

anyone tried wipe from recovery ? emmc bug fixed or ?
Can someone who flash this try out if USB MTP is fixed? eybee's leak version has a well-known bug with the MTP mode where you can't see most of your files/folders when connected to PC. Only by connecting with Mass Storage mode does it work properly. Been driving a bit nuts lately, otherwise this ROM performs nicely.
OTA?
Can someone please tell me if I will still recive OTA updates if I this and then I flash back the old firmware?
I already install, I am in Guatemala, also install it to some friends here, some people did the upgrade from 4.0.4 ICS with XXLRT and another that went up from the last flight XXLS2 and all work perfectly.
Greetings.

CWM zip http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22547287/Stock_Kernel_I9300_XXELLA.zip
Info
Away We Triangle counter resets when you restart the counter fona returns to the nabitego
it seems that Samsung has applied additional security in the form of a red exclamation mark in the upper left corner and the security work that way with reads what we call the state or if we modified it automatically poking our custom binary 1 and the entrance to Cwm counter also can be stamped and we see a red exclamation mark
If we want to get rid of it before putting it into service must reset the counter but do not let that system went off which is the original and converted samsung logo remove the batteries and put me back and enter the download mode (do not start before recowery mode) and upload the previous rom and do wipe system / data and cache

flashing this modem will fix the exynos bug?
Hopefully this version can fix the damn memory card problem i am facing. In XXELL5 my memory card can be accessed via file managers. But the gallery and the music player won't show my music or vids and photos..

Sent from my GT-P3110 using xda app-developers app[I think because this is a low-end device and this kind of features are for premium devices like the notes and galaxy s3 and s4 series
also a 1ghz dual core and 1 gig of ram is not enough power to do that kind of tasks
4.2.2 is the last android update for the galaxy tab 2 series, that is what Samsung said.

Bro its not about noob thing
Thing is other devices that got jelly bean 4.2.2 update leak or officially included with them new pit file, new bootloader.so for safety reasons
I needed to confirm because if you are not a "NOOB" then you would know that messing with above two things it would hard brick your device.
You know there is no cost for confirming things in case of doubt!

Prepare Odin flashable CWM recovery. Load the *.tar.md5 file as PDA and flash. Do not touch anything else, do not load any *.pit file! Let your device auto reboot to stock recovery to flash the default CSC, wait it reboot and pray... Boot to download mode to flash CWM recovery, use CWM recovery to recover PhilZ Touch.
