[Q] wiimote connection? - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

anybody have a solution / workaround to connect a wiimote to the N10? (I like to use wiimotes as volume control / page up/down device)
wiimote controller app doesnt seem to work.
Thanks!

Seconded. Although I heard that Google changed the Bluetooth stack, making it harder/impossible to connect they way they were doing it.

Bluetooth keyboard and mouse for pc

Hey!
Is there a program that would emulate a pc trackpad and keyboard for android that would connect to a pc over bluetooth and let me type and move the mouse cursor with my phone? It's for my mini pc, i usually carry it around but i dont have a spare keyboard and mouse, i considered buying a foldable flexible keyboard but 40$ for a bluetooth keyboard is slightly too much for me, and i dont write alot on that pc.
So is there one?

You can try PRemoteDroid on the market. it has WiFi and Bluetooth I can't get Bluetooth to work. It could be cause I have a cheap Bluetooth adapter to. but WiFi works for me. You got to download the server side to.

PS3 controller on Xoom Family

Did anybody succeed in using a PS3 controller for the Xoom Family (connetted with the USB OTG Cable)? I want to use it for Snesoid and the other emulators.
Mine lights up but can't do anything with it. I tried to reassign the keys but when I press a button nothing happens. It seems that with the normal XOOM is recognized without any issues. Or any luck with another controller?
Alessandro
Download an app called Sixaxis from the market. It's a paid app.

Since the original question was about the OTG cable and the SixAxis app is for Bluetooth, I use a PS3 controller via USB and it works fine.
You do have to press the Playstation logo button to use the controller...

You can use PS3 controllers via the mini USB, just like you can on the PS3 when the batteries are flat.
Thanks for the responses.
Sixaxis requires root, and the Xoom Family is locked.
Also cant get the ps3 controller to work on the Family, maybe they did not include the drivers (its still on 3.1).
I could have sworn I saw a thread on how to root the Xoom family.

It should work on Android 3.1.... Make sure its not paired with the PS3. You can do this by turning the back switch to off on your ps3. I had some trouble connecting my ps3 controller at first, But the problem was it was connected to my ps3. I didn't notice because my ps3 was in the other room.

[Q] Can't connect any bluetooth controllers with my Nexus 10.

Couldn't find any other similar threads.
I previously owned a Asus Transformer and was able to use a Wii Remote + Classic Controller and never had any issues with it. I tried that on my Nexus 10 with a couple different apps to sync with but none of them could get the thing to connect.
I wasn't too dismayed, it's kind of a pain to have the Wii Remote with Classic Controller dangling off it. So I went out and bought a new Bluetooth controller (Nyko PlayPad), and I can't get that to connect either. Using the Nyko app it seems like it detects the controller but can't actually connect. I ran it through on my phone (Droid 4) and it worked immediately. I don't have any other Bluetooth devices I can test with, but are there any known issues with Bluetooth on the Nexus 10? Is this anything a new ROM or wipe could fix?
I too had a problem with the nyko play pad on my nexus 10. There app is garbage after using it it seemed to break Bluetooth connectivity on my device and I had to factory reset to get it back.

I think there was a change to the blue tooth stack in 4.2 which caused lots of different programs to have issues.
I failed to get a Wii remote to work and as far as I can tell it just isn't possible. A PS3 controller works no problem and in my opinion is much better since Android recognises it as a gamepad as opposed to an input method.

mk809 360 controller issues

Has anyone else had issues syncing a wireless xbox 360 controller to their android stick? I only recently picked up a wireless/usb adapter for the controller, but cannot for the life of me sync the controller to work on the mk809 (non BT, so please dont suggest a ps3 controller).
I can get the controller to sync fine with my PC and my Galaxy Nexus, so I do know that the usb adapter works.
I have watched a few videos and did a quick search but didnt come up with anything about sync issues. I have watched youtube videos of mk's using 360 controllers, so that shouldnt be a problem.
Ideas?
I use my PS3 controller with a cable and of works great. I also have a 360 controller with wireless USB. Although I have an MK808 but they are pretty much the same I think.
Although I have to use a button mapping app IME. I use JoyCenter or something. It lets me map all the buttons and works OK. I played with emulators and seems pretty responsive.
You might need a custom rom with the drivers preinstalled, or root and do it yourself.
Could be the problem.

I believe that you will need to use a wired controller to get it to connect.
