Hello everybody, i'm very excited with Cyanogen's new way and i must to say that it be a huge community for the device that i solicite support.
It's a device with an awesome hardware, but, sure you know, Android OS came from China isn't very good, i hope you regard my request.
Thanks to all of you (and sorry for my quite bad english).
As an CUBE U30GT2 owner, It will be a mircale for cube U30GT2 users if you will make a rom for our device.
Cube Android os is owful, crush and stuck.

Rockchip is about as far as possible from awesome as you can get from a developer perspective. RK3066 is an utter and total nightmare to work with, I assume 3188 will be equally bad.
I've attempted a bringup of RK306u6 with Codeworkx before. While someone else might be able to do a neat bringup, it won't be me working on it, I'm afraid.
The RK architecture was horrendous, I'm afraid, and had a lot of design compromises (ie. no wifi and ADB at the same time, etc)
Hi,
things have changed a bit since the rk3066.
Rockchip recently released the kernel sources and there is some work that has been made, especially by omegamoon, Galland and aloksinha2001 (take a look here : https://github.com/omegamoon/Rockchip-GPL-Kernel).
Although there are some modules that are always closed sources. :d
Given the number of Android PC Keys that run through a SoC Rk3188, it would be interesting for omnirom to work on it, or even to work in parallel with the above mentioned developers to give it a try and bring a true clean android experience, especially with the multi-window feature that would be a huge improvement in those products.
Regards.
Dear comunity,
I love samsungs sidesync 3.0 features. And for me it would be great to have sidesync on all android devices or at least a similiar application with the same features.
Is there anyone else who have the same interest like me and in the best case is able to develope/port an app like wanted ?
I have an Galaxy Tab s and an oppo find 7a. So i have at least one samsung device.
An alternative is to have a touchwiz based rom for oppos find 7 and other devices.
The problem is already known from htc sense features....the features and apps we want are integrated into the brand's framework so that the app only as standalo is not working.
Please help me with developing, good suggestions or at least lets start a list to demonstrate that this feature is more than just a feature to play , it is useful and needed
Greets
I'd be interested

Great news: future official sailfish OS on the Fairphone 2!!!

Wow! This is the very best news in the device mobile world! At last an alternative platform to the Android-iOS oligopoly. Great!
One missing feature
And it is only missing the FM radio support...
I wonder if there would be a possibility by developers to implement the Android Wear system in these models.
I read a news that supports Android Wear SIM
You could get in the future?
Thank you

It would be great, but as far as I know the platform is not compatible with Android Wear sadly.
Is there any watch/band focused on compatibility and based in open standards or at least with a documenteded protocol?
I am seeing that all watches supported by Gadgetbridge app for android, required reverse engineering/hacking efforts.
Is there any watch open for interconnectivity?
In my opinion buying one that doesn't require reverse engineering to sync/manage will be potentially supported by opensource software and will not make you slave of the provider app.
PineTime looks a great project but it is still on an early stage.
Can you recommend any watch/band?
I will reply to myself, the bangle.js project is the most stable and advanced smartwatch ecosystem.
It is based in espruino and apps are coded in javascript
