I was having some problems with my wifi, so I updated my rom from Aurora 4.1 to Aurora 5.0, but now I can't link my Google Account at the first startup... It says that it can't establish a reliable data connection to the server, etc... I already factory reseted the device several times, and I still can´t connect... Anybody knows what the solution is???

I've just upgraded my phone to the latest cyanogenmod...
Everything seems to be working now, except the login to goolge...
Quite important...
The initial sign in when I start a google related app(I skipped the setupwizard step to signin because I don have a data abo), says "The process com.google.process.gapps has stoped unexpectetly."....
Every attempt fails over and over again... Ofcause I've got a connection to internet, I can browse the web without problems.
Also the account of my girlfriend doesn work....
Any ideas???

All of a sudden my phone is unable to resolve google dns servers!
I was using miui 1.9.9 and am now trying cyanogen mod but am experiencing the same problems.
All other sites other than google can be accessed just fine using the stock browser. Am able to access google via opera mini browser.
I have tried a factory reset but the problem still exists. If i edit the /etc/hosts.conf file I can access the android market
I am on the crazyjohns mobile network in Australia.
Anyone have any ideas?
so bizarre. google will work for about 12 hours and then it will fail to resolve the server.
facebook also doesn't work when it fails. every other site i've tried loads fine.
i've now done several resets to the phone, and am now on lastest miui and stockwell.
just tried an optus sim which worked fine after it had been failing, then put my crazyjohns sim back in, and then crazyjohns worked.
thought i'd narrowed it down to the sim but i guess not. argh
Try installing the latest Stock Rom and then Miui back...There could be something wrong in your AMSS.
have tried various stock roms. still get the problem on the stock rom.
huawei website won't let me login currently, but i'm pretty sure it's latest australia roadhound one i flashed on it from home.
Huawei Mobile has pathetic customer support...downloads are not available through the website for more than a month now...

[ROM] Aurora ICS 4.0.4 for u8800 after 5.0 update 2, my wifi does not work. How can I make the developer to know that?
It is suppost, by the updates logs, to those update fix the wifi problems. But sometimes it turns off by itself.
With 5.0 update 2, wifi work, but if I try to search for a bluetooth device, wifi turns off.
update with the latest Aurora V5 u20 or 21... I'm still sticking with the u20 it gives less reboot problem... then you can combine with ezet kernel it's fast stable and no hungry battery consumption
I tried them all after 5.0 update 2. even update 20. After update 2, wifi turns on but do not connect.
Also, I changed my room now, I decide to try Aurora Light. So, far no problem with wifi, but when I try to install something from google play, it installs fine. But when I logon into my google account using the computer and try to install from there, google play says that I didn't connect with my google account using a device yet. How can that be?
If I have my account configured inside my phone, and I can even install it from there, how can google on my computer say that I don't have a device? Is there any change of the developer google account is hard coded inside the rom, and it is not using my configured account?
Hi, a couple of days ago I started getting this error when installing apps. At the beginning it was only a couple of apps that didn't work but it got worse and now no apps work at all. I've done EVERYTHING to fix this, the only thing that works is using a VPN to change my location, that is it.
What I've done:
-Cleared google play store data
-Removed google account and re-entered it
-Factory reset including system then re-installed the ROM
-Switched between 4 different ROMs
-Tried all kernels too
1.Stock 4.3 google edition
2.Battery King v.5 TW ROM Android 4.2.2
3. CM 10.2 Android 4.3
4. JSS15J Pure AOSP ROM Android 4.3
I live in Canada and when i change my location and IP Adress with Hideninja VPN I can install any apps. The only problem is now I can't even get that app and when i could my download speed was Extremely slow.
Anyone in Canada or anywhere else got this problem randomly a couple days ago?
Hi everyone. Recently I have bought the gionee elife e7 32g and I have everything in it working.But after I have done to it factory reset the data connection stopped working. Old help.And I have Android 4.2.2 and I unable to update it (from the begging),coz everytime I choose system update the settings app crashes. If there is solution to those problems i will glad to hear it. Thanks.
