eh?
You installed cLK with recovery but then got disappointed that you didn't see MAGLDR's menu so you installed magldr and now you have this problem, the prompt screen of cLK, again ?
I am not sure I am following.
If you mean you didn't see 'the recovery' of cLK after installing it, Reboot your phone and hold the "Home" button to go into cLK's recovery.
EDIT:
I think you don't know what you're doing (no offence). So just follow this guide (thank the author) until you get to the recovery, then just flash your ROM.
Make sure to set the recovery accordingly, if you want cLK instead, search the forums or ask me and I can give you a guide for it.

sorry i made i mistake in telling the problem:
i did a wipe, hspl, magdlr with says no boot sourch, so i installd magdlr and know i have this problem
need to be::
i did a wipe, hspl, magdlr with says no boot sourch, so i install >>>CLK<<< and know i have this problem.
i dont know what iam doing? yes and no, i have done 8 hd2 succesfully( didn't have problems). but the 9e hd2 give me this problem.
so i have read the guides on this forum.
this htc was also ' bricked ' fatal hit error.
so i did a wipe, then hspl, then magdlr, the, CLK, but the problem is that after the clk a promp screen appears...
so i read the forum's and saw that somebodey said: that promp screen is CLK. what you have to do is install CLK recovery.
so i instal CLK recovery, but the promp screen appears again...
i hope you get it know..

you are either not understanding the difference between magldr and cLK or you are confusing cLK with CWM
you flash EITHER magldr OR cLK, not both, they both do the same thing, if you flash clk after magldr, it will replace magldr, if you flash magldr after cLK, it will replace cLK, , you make your own decision, you decide which you want to use, and use it.
They BOTH use CWM recovery.
SO, when you flash magldr and it says no boot source, that's because you haven't installed CWM (not clk) yet, so there is nothing to boot, , , hence, , no boot source.
flash magldr
run the nand toolkit
choose partition size on the left,
click 'magldr repartition'
when its finished, CWM is now installed, and you can access it by starting into magldr, and choose option 8 - AD recovery.
CWM will now start, and you can choose 'install zip from sd card', , select the rom.zip you already put on the card before you started, and hey presto, , done.
now stop being a pathetic spoon fed noob, and go do your own reading.

Yeah, I personally feel that the term 'pathetic spoon-fed noob' was about right. Everything you wanted could have been found through searching, and I refuse to believe that you've flashed 8 HD2s without having a CLUE what the difference between cLK and MAGLDR is. I assume when you say 'flashed' you mean 'bricked' because that's all I can see happening if you try to do anything to any phone.

Wsod htc hd2

Before I start I googled and tried methods I could and all failed.
My phone was working Link Hereperfect with no issues I had installed the DFT LEO Stock Desire NAND Rom.
A week ago it died and I charged it and powered it back up and got the white screen. It wouldnt go away until I pushed the yellow button on the back. Problem solve I would think.
Two days ago on my way to San Francisco it restarted and turned white. I tried all methods I found here and google none work. when I hold the down vol button I do get the 3 color screen and thats it. I attached an picture of what my phone says.

Do you realize that you didn't ask anything?
Do you post these nice explanations to inform us that stopping a device by removing suddenly its power supply is not good?
Then ok, thanks. Ask for a sticky.
@crx4xharder
If you're boy's phone can only boot in the first level loader... I think a week-end if long enough to make extensive trouble shooting
Ok, I agree I'm not nice... it's just to make you realize that if you want to ask someting... then ask, no need to make us imagine the question you may want someone to answer.
My question is how do I get this fixed? How do I get android back up and running. I want to get rid of this white screen.

What was the version of MAGLDR you had anyway? The ROM you are/were running is outdated by today's standards anyway.
I would do a task29 and start over. Then flash MAGLDR 1.3, CWM 1.3 and then a new ROM.

If you get bootloader simply flash a stock WM rom or MAGLDR, whats hard about that?
i tried flashing with task29 but it sticks at 0%
Do not use task29 for your problem. Fortunatly it doesn't "clear" the first level bootloader.
Press the vol-down key.
In boot loader, flash:
a/ a WM6 ROM (to do this you can just put a LEOIMG.nhh on the root of your SD)
b/ MAGLDR (the version you need for the build you want)
If you want to put a DFT build. In MAGLDR (so press "end call" and start the phone... keep end call pressed) choose the option "USB flasher" (something like this.
With DFT (in admin) flash:
a/ a DFT build
b/ CWM
If CWM, boot in MAGLDR, choose "AD Recovery" (for CWM 1.13)
In CWM choose the option to flash a zip build.
That's all... good question, good answer.
All what I said if well expained in diffferent sticky. You will find there a lot of step-by-step or video explanations.
Hope this helps.
He doesn't need to clear the first-level bootloader. You can see from his screenshots that he gets into the bootloader just fine. Task29 will format the NAND storage just as flashing a WinMo ROM does. The RUU does a task29 as part of the flashing process anyway. Doing just a task29 saves the time of flashing the ROM.
Either way, you don't "flash" task29. You run the command via mtty. I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're saying when you "flash" task29 and it stayed at 0%.
What was the meaning of my "Fortunatly"
Clear the first level... brick the phone.
So for you task29 is equivalent to flashing a WM?
With or without radio?
(real question, I really don't know exactly what it's doing...)
I know that it "cleans" the NAND but it's not enough for me.
Anyway, I realize it will be better for me to read the dedicated thread or search on google.
For him I keep my advice to do all (task29, full flash from the beggining including WM). It's useless normally but as he has a problem...

For HD2 "mtty" is not required, there is a task29 nbh.

I couldnt flash the task29 so I ran the commands in mtty and flashed a rom and booted, still wsod...
Just flash back to the original ROM, then update radio, install magldr.

Stuck on "Go Go Go"

Hey guys, I've managed to install MAGLDR on my HD2, and I have tried to install CWM.
First I tried v1.3 and everything went OK till i got stuck on the "Go Go Go" screen.
Then I tried v1.2 using my SD card, but i still end up with the same problem.
The thing is I don't have any ROM installed on my HD2 so I can't do anything more !
Would greatly appreciate your help =)
do you use MAGLDR 1.13?
did you try and reinstall your ROM?
Do you use a compatible radio?
Yep I'm on 1.13
I can't do much more, my HD2 won't even boot into the bootloader ! I'm basically stuck on MAGLDR with no ROM and no ability to install back a standard windows ROM

Make sure your battery pins aren't loose. Push them back with your finger and try again.

Tried about everything I could hardware-wise without tearing it apart... unfortunately the battery pins don't change anything.
Quite a few members seem to be facing the same problem recently: no access to the bootloader, stuck on MALDR... wonder what's the problem.
The only thing I can do is run WP7 on it, which is not very usable.
i made this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=945427
maybe it helps?
Thanks yz.hd but I can't get to the bootloader (volume down + power only brings me to MAGLDR), nor CWM...
It's not possible to only be able to get to MAGLDR and not bootloader I don't think. Just hold down the volume button and then power on while still holding down the power button and see what happens. I had a problem like that where my HD2 would get stuck at "1234" and then stopped and rebooted. The battery pins where the cause.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
I've tried loads of times, the combo volume down + power really doesn't bring anything up, no matter which way I put it... a complete mystery !
So you've tried to install CWM? Did it work or not? Are you able to go to the USB flasher in Magldr? And install it again, try to see if the AD Recovery works?
Yep, I tried again, the USB flasher works perfectly fine, CWM installs perfectly. But when I go to Ad recovery, it still stays on "Go Go Go!".
Same thing if i install CWM via my SD card
Try formatting SD card (you will lose your data). Try again.
How long does it hang?
If that doesn't work, try to install a DAF rom, and see what happens.
you probably don't have the 'copy to sd' folder in the root of your sd?

What do you mean by a DAF Rom ? One that is directly bootable from MAGLDR ? I have tried a WP7 rom which works ok. But I still can't install a bootloader to bring it back to WP 6.5 and start the process all over again to install CWM...
@DKxda: is it necessary to have a folder ? I copied the two files directly in the root of my SD.
DAF rom is a rom that doesn't use CWM to run (directly from magldr).
Nope I'm still stuck on Go Go Go if I want to install a DAF Android ROM (no problem with WP7 ROMs though)...
Sorry mate, I'm out of options you could try (well, install CLK, but you need the bootloader for that...)
Hope someone else will help you fix this!
Edit: When does it get stuck at go go go? Immediately at boot or after selecting Boot AD Nand?
You can try to ask it in the Magldr Thread, cause it seems like a Magldr problem to me...

Well, since yesterday I'm getting a similar issue!
Stuck at go go go or just after on the boot screen which is completely messed I get the top 1/4 screen ok, the rest is bad lines, then the bottom half is dark.
Yesterday I tried installing a CM7 build for my HD2... stuck at Android logo...
So I reflashed CWM Recovery 400Mb partition ok, restored my last backup and rebooted... Now I have this issue all the time!
Tried my many backups, reflashing CWM Recovery a couple of times, factory reset from CWM or MAGLDR...
Nothing will do!
Is my HD2 dead or what????

To install Android to nand using MAGLDR 1.13 you have two choices to do this. You can do it the original way with a ROM that flashes via option #5 USB Flasher and a DAF installer utility. Or you can flash Clockwork Mod Recovery via option#5 USB Flasher and then booting ifnto CWM via option#8 AD Recovery. then using install zip from sdcard. You have to have a MAGLDR compatible ROM though, which is most ROM now anyway.
But as you can see you have to be abale to scroll with your volume up and down buttons to do any of this, so I really don't know what to tell you. I will wait for your next post before giving any further suggestions.

stuck at CWR GO GO screen.

I made task 29 installed raido 2.15.50.14 installed magldr 1.13 and then i flashed a CWM recovery with 5/150/5 partition. I wanted to install the rom but i cant enter in AD Recovery it only stays at 123456 go go screen and nothing happened. If u can help me please write here or PM me thanks in advance.

123456 GO GO GO apears at launch of either ROM or CWM. Nothing except top bar appears when launching MAGLDR. So im guessing his MAGLDR is ok, but CWM may be corrupt. But you're right, if CWM reflash won't work, he'll need clean install with task29, which would probably fix the problem.
Also, please, use edit instead of doubleposting.
Cheers
I read a thread awhile back that if you have a bunch of bad blocks on your phone you will then inturn need a larger partition set up.
With that being said if the ROM calls for 5/150/5 and thats what you used maybe try a bigger partition. Also i cant remember where
but i know i read the "stuck at go go go" before as well. I will try and find it and edit this post if i do.
Click option "3" instead of "8" I think was suggested in one of the posts but i cant find where that post is.
I would post this in the Clockworkmod section. Doing a breif read/search through that thread I've seen a
few people state they were stuck at go go go as well.

Stuck on cLK screen.

Well, so here's my first post and this issue has been frustrating me because usually I find my answers online but anyways here's the problem. (Edit: Ok I realized I posted once before, so I guess 2nd my bad aha)
So, my HD2 had TyphooN CyanogenMod 7.2 RC2 v3.8.3 ROM on it cLK. One day my phone was always stuck on the T-mobile Stay together screen, I rebooted it over a good 20 times and still was always stuck. So I decided to just Task 29 it using the HD2 Toolkit (thanks ksubedi) (well I didn't know if that was a good idea or not because I'm not root smart aha, but I did it anyways) What I know when you Task 29 it, it wipes out everything, so I started the whole process again but with the HD2 Tookit. Everything was fine, running smoothing installing everything again, up until when I have to install ClockWorkMod on it. When I want to flash CWM its just always on the "waiting for device" on the command prompt and here iss the picture of my phone (provided)
Then I looked into more and I wasn't able to install the android_winusb.inf file because I have Windows 7 or something and I always get a failed error when trying to install it. (sorry yes I'm clueless aha) So I looked into it more and found the Android SDK thing and downloaded the Google USB driver. Still no luck when trying to install CWM.
But here is my downfall. I was so frustrated I was trying everything, so in the HD2 Toolkit I decided to install HSPL 2.08. My phone already had HSPL if I'm not mistaken if you already have the 3 color things when you press volume down and end call, (but again I'm clueless) So after that I Task 29, but here's the catch it will not do it. Before installing HSPL I could task 29 and it would take 15 seconds to go 100% but now its always 0, and gives me an error.
So that's my problem (probably more cause I screwed it up myself). But any help with be really appreciated!
Did you try manually installing the USB driver from the device manager?
As for the spl, are you sure you installed the 2.08.Hspl version (what does it exactly say on the RGB bootloader?)

It must be 2.08.HSPL or 3.03.HSPL. the one ending in 0000 will block you from flashing unofficial images other than HSPL. So you can just flash back the hspl version again.

Hey I tried this method, and also the one previously provided but still no luck. With the person saying get HSPL 2.08 I did it, got to the end where clk 1.4 or something (not clk 1.5) but the command line ends at porcharge. Theres no fastboot commands like in other pictures I look like and when I do cLK Install Recovery on the NAND Toolkit, the command prompt keeps waiting on the device.
So now I tried the cLK 1.5 method. I followed kylew1212's guide using the first way with the NAND Toolkit, Task 29, then did the INstall RUU. Everything went smoothly but I'm back to my first problem. It's stuck at the T-mobile stick together screen :/
If you press back button when phone restarts, doesnt get you in clk ? Or if you hold home when phone restarts, doesnt get you in recovery ?

Sorry if I'm dumb lol. But the only way to turn on the phone is holding the red end key right, thats the only that it turns on for me. And its stuck at the stick together T-mobile logo. It doesn't go into recovery or anything. How would I be able to restart my phone with being on the T-mobile stick together screen without taking out the batteries and such??
Finally some success I'm on this screen now! Now to find a guide on how to work with cLK 1.5 aha.
Hmm. While restarting and pressing the back arrow and end key, I'm able to get into cLK. No like with home and end key though. And when I do click on Recovery it's trying to boot into Linux or something and no progress shows. "cmdline: no_console_suspend=1 wire.search_count=5 clk=1.5.0.0" Do I just have to wait longer or something. Also in the information on cLK 1.5 its just blank after Radio. Do I need a Radio of some sort?

Well..problems with MAGLDR aswell. Everything goes smoothly until the USB Flashing and the AD Recovery. When doing USB Flashing the process is fine but when it goes "Reset now..." It never resets, but I'm guessing it flashed already. So when I go to AD Recovery it goes "1EFATAL HIT 1", I've looked up the problems for this, and so I've task 29 it again, installed 2.15.50.14 radio. Tried different cache size and partition size, but always no luck what so ever. So lost in this :/

I really appreciate that your helping me, but I'm almost there! Now encountered to another problem. Now when I do USB Flashing it finally resets itself. But when I click the AD Recovery its stuck at "GO GO GO!" I'm using the NAND Toolkit, and I tried two different partition and cache size 200/8 and 250/8. I have no idea how much I should bump these up too, and the ROM I'm trying to install is the NexusHD2, if that helps.
EDIT: FINALLY INTO CWM!!!! Hmm. I was looking around and there was this guy said to move the 3 pin connecters in the battery or something. So I was like what the heck and just did it, and now im in CWM. Thanks man. I really appreciate for you to always reply back when I needed help. Wouldn't have gotten through without you!

What problem are you having? I'm not expert like hengsheng120 but I was able to find a solution to a problem that I thought never was going to be fixed.
