Thanks for the link, but I wish it wasn't required!! Seems kind of pointless having an LED with the default settings, possibly a firmware bug?
Note:
On the up side, after installing that app, I'm yet the find a colour the LED can't manage
Yep thanks for the app and yeah agree should be stock android to pick colours

Hi all,
Installed Dark JellyBelly 4.1.1 v3 on my Moblicity Panache and everything works great except for my WiFi Hotspot. Checking the threads most people don't seem to have this problem. It just gets suck on "Wifi Turning On" when it's selected.
Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!
Try getting another wifi tether app from the appstore. That should work. I hope I didn't give you false advice but try anyway

I got mine to work by downloading the app WiFi tether and setting the phone profile to the nexus one in the settings. Takes a tiny bit longer to turn on but it works.

That did the trick! Thanks guys!
And now for something totally different... Since I am too impatient to wait 5 mins... why do my widgets disappear after every reboot? I'm using Nova Launcher.

No. This rom is still in early stages. As soon as we perfect the kernel then they will become as stable as ICS. The fact we've gotten as far as we have this early is amazing. Just give it time my friend great things come to those who wait

I've heard you can use the camera illusion app for video, at least I think that's what its called, haven't tried it since I don't use video. As for camera you can use JB camera+, the link is in some thread, just search for it, think its in the market too. This works fine for me.
Hope I helped

Be very careful....that is the swagger toggle lol. Actually it is just a joke, it does nothing. And yes, I'm serious, it does nothing.
When a call/email or Text comes in the back camera strobe flashes....to me this is annoying, and I cannot find the answer anywhere on how to disable it. Only settings I find are for LED
My phone is ATT and is rooted.(4.2)
Any help I would LOVE! Thanks in Advance!

Thank You! I cant believe I had never noticed this before. I always thought it would be a handy feature, I was secretly jealous that my wifes iPhone could do it and my GS2 couldn't. I may have to power up the GS2 just to see if the option was always there.
Hello guys as the thread says, my LED notifications doesnt work after a missed call. it works perfectly after receiving an sms and e-mail, but not after a missed call. I have stock 4.3 android and stock dialer + sms. I know, that after changing the stock dialer to a custom one (exdialer, dialer one) it will work, but i would like to stay at the stock one, because i like it
Thanks
And your question is 'Why won't my LED always work at certain applications?'?
If yes, try LightFlow, you can find it at the Play Store.

what a fast and easy solution i will stay at my stock dialer and have a full working led notification Thanks mate !
there is so much stuff to learn about that phone ...

Having an issue with the led not lighting for mms message notifications using the themed/modded stock messaging app from the themes section. I honestly dont remember if it worked on stock or not. Can somebody please confirm if the led notification works for receiving mms on the stock app? Thanks!
I can confirm that it does work on the stock app.

Thanks for the confirmation. I must have screwed something up as I pushed the stock messaging apk back and still do not have the led light for mms. Works fine for sms and I get the audio and vibration just no led.

Hi all. I have been doing some searching around for a way to get the rear LED to light up in any way shape or form for apps, specifically SMS.
Has anyone found a way to get it on AT ALL using apps like Light Flow or Light Manager? Stock or a custom ROM? If you have gotten it on in anyway at all, please let me know! (And how you did it please)
I spent some time emailing with the LightFlow dev last night too, and he is interested in getting control over it too. So anything to get it on is great.
Thanks everyone!

In another thread it was stated that Flashnotification works (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.manzy.flashnotification). I did not try it yet.

Just tried, same results.
I have it half on with this app http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1958939
Working on full access. Ill keep everyone updated.
To use that app install it and enable it in accessibility. Then open the app and go to auto locate. Choose your LED here. "button-backlight1" is for the left, "button-backlight2" is for the right. It will probably just show you up to the word "button: though. But it appears twice, once on the left of the screen, once on the right. Choose either side. And that's it. It will flash when you get a notification.
Light flow works for me rooted on stock Rom. ...you have to enable it in settings then enable it in the setting for the specific notification You want. .. but now blink or pulse. ....tell the light flow dev to add this option to his app

I sent him an email about this a few minutes ago. But light flow also only lights up half of the ring, the right side to be specific. If you use the app I linked above you can get either half (left or right) working and it blinks!
Ill let you know any updates I get, but at least it is half blinking now!
Worked some more with the light flow dev. We have gotten the FULL led ring to light up! It is currently solid. Ill post more as it develops.
In the meantime here is a picture of my device, using lightflow, when I receive an SMS. Enjoy for now!
