I said so because only soft bricks can be solved by jig if its hard then no use of jig .there are cases of soft bricks which i myself have encountered many a times where you cannot go into dl mode by 3 button combo in that case jig helps

Soft brick means that one of ur recoveries are working. They dont need a jig. It is made for a hard brick when none of the recoveries are working so what a jig actually does is that it forces your phone to get into the odin mode so that u can flash a firmware.

UPDATE: Solved: I was not exact on sequence of pressing DL combo keys. When I press them in the order VolDown, Home, Power everything is OK. Sorry for noise
Damn, damn, damn.
I've sent my I9000 to reparation to fix USB. They've fixed.
Also they flashed 2.3.3 and did it so, that download mode combo doesn't work anymore.
Any idea how to get Download Mode back? Recovery (3c) still works though.
P.S. Samsung support guy was clearly gloating and happy to hear that DL doesn't work anymore.

Does it imply a micro USB plug should be created and applied?
Lookup download jig, I got mine from ebay. I think you can make them yourself if you are handy with a soldering iron

I've made a HUGE mistake... I wanted to flash Abysskernel over RocketRom V4 to make a full wipe. But I've done it to fast, without looking good at what I was doing.
I've flashed CYANOGENMOD 9... And flashing has stuck. Now, I can't start my phone. No more recovery, no more download mode !!!
I think I'm screwed.
Is there a little chance to repear it without SAV ?

you are screwed... the CM9 instructions clearly state to flash from GB rooted or other safe kernel

No download mode... Nothing. Full black screen.
Just pull the battery wait for 10 to 15 seconds put it in volume down+home+power button for 10 seconds and again count of 10 just plug in ur usb cable and see wether the phone is detected through odin if yes and then use 16gb pit file with bootloaders and flash any stock gb rom

What is "16gb pit file" ??
if its totally black and you cant turn it on, you are lucky if you still have the warranty.. they cant check the flash counter...
just tell them you suddenly cant open the phone

i have got the same problem.
alexdumitru your problem is not same. the link you shared they mention to solve softbrick devices. but me and zepretender got a hardbrick devices. it means you can not go to download mode. so i think only they solve it with changing mainboard or damaged parts.
is there any other new ways for solve hard brick devices??
That's a hard brick too. The emmc is damaged, though it enters download mode, it's true. But I've seen cases where the device entered download mode, though the screen remained blank. So try to enter download mode, even if the screen is still blank and then connect it to the computer. If Odin recognizes it, you might be lucky.
i´ve sufferd the same problem. i´ve bricked my note - no recovery, no download mode. i tried to go to download mode, but odin didn´t recognized usb connection. My phone was dead. I´ve sent my device to samsung for warranty repair.

If your phone is "superbricked" hard brick, then a JIG won't work because it damages the eMMc chip. But, you can make your own JIG. You can get stuff at your local electronics store, like Radioshack. I don't know where you live though, haha!
Even if the JIG gets you in download mode though, if Odin fails at factoryfs.img or NAND write start then it will still be bricked.

Press Volume Down+Home+Power Button Simultaneously and then flash stock thru odin for more detailed guide search xda!
done that one already,. but still no luck..i just notice when i connect my phone and open odin..it detected my phone and my computer says "Broadcom wireless modem connected"
What rom did you flash and if possible, can you provide details on how you flashed it?

Well, surely you didn't flash a custom rom. Cause c-roms are flashed via cwm or stock recovery.

take out ur battery , sim and connect ur mobile to pc then try to go to odin mode by pressing vol down+home+power button simultaneously and flash stock rom

try to use odin 1.84
or if no luck
i suggest go to your nearest Samsung Center

Ur phones motherboard is Dead .
I to had the same problem I had flashed wrong stock rom ie; of a different device and the phone was dead.
I got it fixed in service center for free as it was under warranty.
So take it to the service center ...And better have your fingers crossed....

thank you for your advice i managed to fix home button and i fixed my phone :fingers-crossed:
i have tried to install new 4.4.2 rom using odin but an error appear on the odin and the phone freeze, i restart my phone but its dead now , ihave tried many ways to turn it on but no way please help me .

Get yourself a USB JIG if you can't afford a new mobo.
Although I have (thanks God the gracious) never bricked my Grand 2, rumor has it that a JIG repair has been done before (by @aapav01 on his Grand 2).
it's the same situation, I try on samsung service center but they said the problem on the motherboard,
