Hey folks,
Does anyone know if the GPS will support GLONASS satellites?

Yes, it does.

Triangles are GLONASS, circles are GPS.
This is by far the most effective Android GPS I've seen.

As far as i know: 1, accelerator not work
2, digital compass not work
3, no stack camera app
4,no location service from wifi or mobile network(not sure if GPS location works)
5,NOT SURE if gyroscope works
Im also experiencing gyroscope not working on CNA 3.3.0.. Maybe a jellybean bug?

Anytime I run an app like MyTracks or MapMyRun or Strava, my GPS is spot on but it calculates the miles wrong. It also get's progressively worse as it gets farther along. It starts saying 1 mile is at about .7 miles, then 2 miles at like 1.3 miles by the time I hit about 8 miles I've really only gone about 4.
Anyone have any idea? It's really driving me nuts. I'm running Vanilla Rootbox with franco kernel. I had this problem with two different versions of both the rom and the kernel, I doubt it's related to those.
Sounds like it's a app issue.
If your gps is spot on then the gps is working as it should.
All calculations on distance traveled would be done by a app reading the gps info. So if your gps is accurately reporting your location it's not at fault.
Sure the apps aren't giving you results in km? Sounds like it may be just that.

That's what I thought too, but I doubt 3 apps are miscalculating the same way.Its not in km, first thing I checked

The correct answer is GPS isn't 100% accurate its always off by at least 10m which adds up over the course of 4 miles. This isn't an issue with the nexus 4 it happens on all phones.

Eh. Unfortunately that's not how gps "tracking" (or math) works.
I don't think either of you actually read the problem, or I just explained it like ****. Gps Accuracy is not the issue, even the speedometer was correct. Only the mileage was off.

Is anyone else having issue where only some GLONASS sats fix..
GPS works fine and i can get a fix on 1 or 2 GLONASS sats when 7 are available all with good signals
I have heard of this being an issue with KK on the S4 but not on the LG-G2
Your title implies you have a FIX for the issue. Please change it.
And I do not like much my GPS/Glonnas, it was for ME bad also on JB.

If you have good and strong GPS signal, GLONASS won't be used. GLONASS kicks in when GPS reception isn't so good.

I was under the impression it was used at the same time for better accuracy
Only when needed

I'm now running mahdi ROM build 06/14a and GPS is fine now looks like it was a ROM issue

I've been having issues getting a good gps/compass lock in Google maps. I'm running Baja rom and tried using the GPS fix and also downloaded Faster GPS. The GPS is somewhat accurate but still shows a large circle meaning it's not a really accurate lock. Also, compass reading is always a little off. Says I'm facing North when facing West etc.
Any suggestions?

Hi All, I also have Lg G2 D802…amazing phone except for GPS! It is really disappointing and I cannot believe so bad GPS performance is belonging to LG! I’m on CloudyG3 1.1 but the same with stock and others. Fix is more or less ok (even if not really fast), BUT satellites signal is very weak (orange/yellow with GPS Test) and accuracy is not less than 10m!!!....Also with navigator I very often get GPS disconnecting (losing the fix) and precision is very unacceptable. I red on Internet about an HW antenna fix but it not seems a 100% solution so, should I consider to return my phone to LG?.....
