Definitely the the Galaxy Nexus. Without a doubt.
Nexus all the way, but I'd wait for the nexus 4 if i were you.

Hi Guys,
Today I sold my Nexus S to my friend who develops an amazing new app.
They needed an ICS device that they can afford. After testing their app myself for a while, they convinced me to sell them the phone :crying:.
I don't know which new device I would buy (Gnex, S3 or One X), but I will definitely miss this amazing community of developers and people who are willing to help anytime.

I say buy a okish phone and wait for new phones to come out. They will me more up to date and can compete with next iphone

I've used both, apply would have to basically fit a desktop pc into a phone to make the hox and gs3 irrelevant

In the US at the moment but live in the UK. Basically wanting to buy a nexus 7 over here as its cheaper. Is there are difference between the two for say rooting? I know with my galaxy if you flash a kernel for the us version it will brick...is this the same case for the nexus? Benefits/downsides to buying one over here? Thanks

no, they run the same pure android. they are all called grouper.
Is there much likely hood of a cm10 for this phone as i,m about to upgrade from my galaxy nexus to it but don't go for touchwiz too much seems too locked down over the freedom of my nexus haha

Trying to convince my wife to trade her iPhone 3 to a Nexus 4 and thought the similar style may help but nothing to show for it..? Any other recommendations in MiUI absence?

I assume you are implying that the newer android versions need more ram. If so does that mean that 5.0 will run slower on the current nexus 7?

It's Android, it runs on everything. Some things maybe slower than others, but it runs, hence the Nexus One (512MB ram, can run 4.2)

I doubt it. They would discontinue the updates for the N7 before they would purposely release a new update that makes the device seem slow.
