Hi everyone,
I just come back from a US trip and I had a problem with my french HTC HD2. I was unable to detect any US network. My provider (free Mobile) propose roaming in US so no problem from this side. I have the Radio Rom 2.15.50.14 (exactly 15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14) and the NexusHD2_JellyBean Android Rom. I have no problem in many countries in Europe but no way in USA (NY in particular) and in Canada.
Is this a Radio Rom issue? Is there any universal radio rom? Is it a question of parameters?
I will have to go again in US and I would like to find a solution.
Many thanks in advance for your help,
Manu

Hi,
does any one has experince in upgrading a US T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition with a German ROM Version ?
My concerns are that the German versions are supporting different GSM frequencies than the US Version. And I read here that you never should upgrade a German phone with a US version it will ruin your phone but if I try to upgrade a US version with a German Version does it also ruin my phone ?
Is this a problem ?
I think, that there should be no problem, to use the German Version in your US-MDA, if your just upgrading the RUU - File.
This leaves the Radi unit untouched.
But i don't know what happend if you use different languages in the RUU and RSU files....
Regards
Stefan
You may be disapointed. The CE part DOES contain band specific information. If you update a USA unit with a European build you will no longer be able to switch between 900 and 1900 band operation.
The Us device is Model PW10B1 and there is no german ROM Upgrade somewhere out there (but if you can find a matching one, please tell me...)
I wouldn't try to upgrade if you still want to use the band-switching function 900/1900.
Hello all,
Please can someone point me in the direction of some info on radio ROMs.
I have a French HTC 3600 which I would like to re-flash using an English WM6 ROM.
Someone has reccomended this one by ADW:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=335321
Download the ROM with Radio:
http://rapidshare.com/files/60678608...incl_RADIO.rar
My question is; do I need a particular version for it to work correctly in France or is it a case of re-flashing the handset and then just inputting all of the connection details to get it up and working?
Thank you in advance,
Ollie

what is the radio roms for?
Hi there,
I'm searching for this radio rom. It should be the original one used in dopod p860. As I already found out the hardware is different to original polaris devices. So maybe this is the reason why no radio rom from this forum works without problems. Is there anyone who is able to help me?
me t00
tell me your reason
Please tell me why you are searching for this rom. Same reason like me?
I want to run the DOPOD with a different rom but always have low GSM response.
me, too!
It is China Mobile's original Radio. (That device is named Dopod P860 China Mobile Edition).
It doesn't have WIFI module and 3G support.
I need it to fix my signal problem.
Hi all, Does anyone know which radio the official T-Mobile UK 2.1 RUU is using.
Cheers,
Higgsy
Menu->Settings->About Phone->Baseband version.
I am pretty sure it's the same one as the GSM unbranded one, which is the most recently made available one.
15.14 iirc
Yeah I know the radio I'm using, theory was that I would try the radio that the official T Mob RUU uses, as that one has been tested on T Mob. Pulser - cheers mate - might give that one a try, still using the old JU radio at the mo
Seems like T-Mobile UK are pushing a new one out via OTA. Did a fresh one last night and got.............
Baseband version - 63.18.55.06MU_6.35.13.09
Anyone know which radio for 3 UK is best ? Please provide a link to the latest. Updating radio loses root ?
Hi guys just been reading up how to install new roms and updating the radio.
Please forgive me i am a complete noob to this-
Can any1 tell me whether or not all the radio updates i find on rom pages are uk and usa phones compatible?
A bit worried about this can you let me know?
They are GSM Compatible Radios, but, I am pretty sure CDMA will use a different Radio.
