AOSP problem with lagg - GT540 Optimus General

I have a problem with AOSP roms, from v_1.0 to 1.3 where phone during standby time isnt very successful in transfering to full power mode. This is easier to explain on similar situation.
I dont touch phone for, lets say 15 min. Someone calls me. Phone starts to ring, but it is a rather unpleasant sound, not the regular one... Screen shows up after 15sec of ringing, and I'm not able to do nothing, except to wait for phone to stop ringing so I could be able to click something...
What to do?

Set min cpu to 245MHz.

Accepting calls problem

Phone will hang and drop the call, it does not matter if i use the button or slider. I'd guess it happens half the times or so..
Could not find any threads on this here, so i'm guessing it isnt a problem for most?
I have the same problem. Wondering if it is a known problem, and if there is a solution?
Mine can be well temperamental when answering a call.
Sometimes the vibration carries on for 4-5 seconds into the call. Sometimes the ringtone takes ages to stop, sometimes I do the slide-to-answer thing and it hangs - meanwhile the other person has rung off.
I don't know what causes it, but it's very annoying!

I have had it become unresponsive, trying to answer a call, while it would keep vibrating until i took the battery out..
i take it youve tried the slider fix?

Yes, that just made the slider less laggy.
The problems with the call function are so annoying that I decided to use a Nokia for calls and the HD for all the rest. So I am carrying two devices with me. What a progress!
Where can we find the fix for the slider problem?
Can you post a link to the fix you mentioned before please?

Screen wakes up when outgoing call is connected

Ok, this is really annoying:
Every time I make a call, the screen turns of when I place the phone to my ear. However, when the person I call answers, the screen wakes up again. I have repeatedly managed to end call, turn on speaker etc. using my cheek. The only solution Ive found is to remove the phone from my ear for a while and then bring it back. The screen then turns of for the duration of the call. The only problem is that its really annoying and that I cant here whatever the other person is saying for a couple of seconds.
So, does anyone know of a better solution?
I have the same problem. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
I did a hard reset and though I have not installed alla software back I use TouchLockPro and it does not wake up anymore when call is connected.

HD2 Sound Crash

Hello everyone,
It's been 4 weeks now since I own the HD2. It's quite a beast, I love it. Except there seems to be an issue with my device when it comes to sound (anything: mp3, youtube, ringtones, alarms, even the sound played when you take a photo): it crashes. No matter what I do, no matter when (idle or in use), it makes it crash.
I did the test and couldn't have the phone being used with sound in the same session for more than 4 hours in a row, or it would crash. Sometimes, after a fresh reboot, the first incoming message, leading the phone to play a ringtone to tell me I got a new message, would make the phone crash. Instantly (sound wouldn't play at time, or just the first half-second would play and then nothing or infinite replay of the first 0.5 sec of the sound - quite annoying btw).
So I move to vibration only. And tada! No more crashes. The phone has been up for more than 160 hours now and it never crashed. I used 20MB of my data connection, sent 55 SMS, received tons of emails (like over 200), used the phone functionality for about 150 minutes and everything works fine. Took countless amount of photos and everything just works.
BUT! I miss the sound! I want it. I can't use the phone as an alarm when I'm on a business trip! I can't hear a ringtone when the phone is left on the kitchen table and I'm in the living room (vibrate does the work when the phone is in my pocket or when I'm in a meeting, which doesn't happen a lot).
How can I know if the issue is hardware or software related? Is there something I could install to trace a crash and see what is going wrong? Sometimes, I can use the phone with sound for a couple of hours and other times the very first sound would make it crash. How can I fix this without have to return my phone (bought it in China, wish I could get a replacement but now I'm back in Montreal/Canada).
is your phone branded? where did you buy it?
LG

I have a similar problem. My HTC HD2 crashes when i turn the volume to max.
I have tried uninstalling the SRS WOW application but i does not help.
When booting into Froyo Android v2.2 it doesn't crash but the sound is distant somehow. I can listen to mp3 songs but the vocals will often disappear.
I bought the phone with 3 in Sweden.
Flashed with Kumars custom rom.
Please help!

SM-G901F random touch screen response

Hi,
My wife has a Samsung Galaxy S 5 for a couple of months now. Lately it's been acting strange. I don't know how to explain it properly but here goes. The phone randomly opens apps (you here the click/pop sound). When this starts, it gets worse real quick. The phone gets really laggy and slow, while hearing the sound constantly...sometimes like 50 times repeatedly with no pause. As if you were to hold down a physical keyboard button. Even when I can turn off the display, I still hear the sound. Only when I let the phone flip out and when the sound finally stops, I can resume using the phone. That is until it starts again. Even the interval of when this happens is random.
Can someone help me? I think it's a hardware problem (touchscreen). But I'm no expert.
Phone is a SM-G901F running Android 5.0.2

Calls going silent

I have been experiencing this problem with making some phone calls where it connects to the line I am calling, but it goes silent. They can hear me, but I can't hear them. I have found that it usually depends on who you are calling. I just did a test with a friend's cell phone and a land line. I called the land line 10 times in a row and there is never a problem. But when calling my friend's cell phone, it is random. Would go silent the first time, then be ok the next 2 times, then silent again, and so forth. Also, my friend's cell phone is set so that it only rings one time, and then the voice mail picks up. I know this from looking at the top right of the phone screen where it says "Dialing", and when the call connects, you will see a time counter. When the time counter is running, it is still silent.
I wiped the phone app cache and system caches, but the problem still occurs.
Any ideas why this is happening?

Similar issue here....I use the Ice View case....do you? I go in and out of silence with people all the time.
No, but I'm not sure how the case would have anything to do with it

well considering I get weird behavior from the case all the time (25% of the time wont show music controls on double tap when music is playing, occasionally doesn't pick up or hang up on swipe)....I think its quite possible it could affect call quality/mic volume if it can exhibit these odd/wrong behaviors as much as it does.
