Geno, How is your u8800 doing?Have you taken it to warranty yet? I hope you can get camera and wifi working. Then I consider the rom ready for everyday use.

my opinion
Tested it and i must say i was not impressed at all.If this is what ICS has to offer i must say i am disappointed.So i cant understand why all the fuss about it.i guess the final version will impress me.

not sure f the indian blade is different from the UK version but if the cyanogen rom from the cyanogen site works on your blade this rom will also work as its built from it with more features added mate

oh here in india there are 2 blades on idea blade which is actually chinese blade and dell xcd35 which is european blade.

rapier07 can tell u if it runs on idea blade contact him.

Which build did you flash? I'm on the 7th feb build and camera works just fine

there's a stripped down version of cyanogenmod which targetbsp has built it doesn't have undervolt kernel so plz add it in the first post.

Look for Development Section, there are lots of custom rom especially INSPIRED ROM like jelly bean, Ice cream sanwich, etc.

Sorry to inform you but there are no ics Roms for our phone (so u can forget about stable ones) what you can get however are ics-like rom meaning that your phone will look like ics but you'll still be running gingerbread you can find 1 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1636983 that's creeds rom a real good 1 in my opinion all the info you need on flashing/installing is in the tread... hit thanks if I helped

Well we do have cm9 which is in other words ics - check it out ! - don't know what you mean by stable but its quite usable !

Use creed 3.5 with ics trans theme. You will get that at development section.

Cm9 doesn't crash just few bugs major of which being software rendering so you won't be able to play games !
For overaclocking you can try merruk technologies deluxe kernel - it provides 1.2 ghz overclock !

No ..
We havent got any version above 2.3.5 except for the cm9(ics) and cm7(2.3.7).
For overclocking you need custom kernels. See it in general/developement threads.

Note: The updates have to be installed after installing the rom.
for installing updates:
1)go to cwm then wipe cache partition.
2)the select install zip from sd card.
3)choose zip from sd card.
4)install the 1st update then 2nd and then 3rd and reboot after every update.
PS:Make sure after installing the rom u don't make any changes to the status bar if u make then after installing the last update it will force close...

Well , i want to make this rom even better and faster than kalo's rom ( i appreciate soooo much kalo's work and it's the first rom i try when i upgrade ).
This is just the beginning ...
You know that i want to work only for fullworking roms .... ics is not ready yet .
So i will try to give another one stable and fast rom for people who want a reliable phone.

I also having some problems with widgets on kalo's , anyway this rom it will gonna be much better.
I'm waiting your feedbac's guys ...

Sorry if I insist, but the rom ics unofficial B928 downloaded from official website of huawei, which I had many days I had ever given problems and seems complete, just a little slow and the touch is not very sensitive. I, if I had your skill, I would have thrown on that ....It's just my personal opinion, no problem :crying:

My philosophy is Stability for everyday usage .
I hope tomorrow i will be ready to release V2 .
For now on , i know well what i have to do , so this Rom will be ready much more faster than Horse ...

No theming right now ..
Firstly we must see if it works well , without issues , the next releases will be much better ...
Everybody must focus on functionality firstly .... themes , apps and other changes is the easy part ... the hard part is functionality , reliability etc..

[Q] best roms

hi,
i want to ask who is the more stable roms for Ideos X5? (not the pro)
i want a stable and fast rom, and if it is possible not take all the battery.
for fast rom it is better to stay in android 2.3? or i can have and good results with 4.x?
the 4.x roms need more memory from the 2.3?

and it is working but i want to try and newer roms.
So today i have try the AuroraSP.
I have recovery 5.0.2.8 (and i have try with 5.0.2.7)
I have make full wipe (data, cache, dalvik)
I have install AuroraSP V4R
but then in the boot screen i have see only the huawei logo. The rom not start.
I have do something wrong?
there is a problem to switch from ezet CM72 to auroraSP?
i have try to go and to Aurora ICS 4.0.4 v5 but the problem remain.

How about speed and battery about ezetCM7 and AuroraSP? it is similar or not?

Hello, first of all you should install official 2.3 gingerbread from Huawei and root it. After that you should be able to install aurora without problem.
There is a thread on the developer section on how to install and root official Rom.

Speed is better on Aurora that's for sure and about battery i don't remember well i don't have CM7 and haven't tried anymore more than 1 year but drains a little more if you use 2G and turn off Wifi and then you can save battery.
If must have GB on your phone after that you should install any other custom roms since from CM7 to CM 10 and of course Aurora too. Remember when update from different kernel please format system, data and cache with together all 3 wipes.

What version of recovery you have use?
i have try 5.0.2.7 and 5.0.2.8 and 5.5.0.4 but not luck.
it is working when i install CM72 but not in aurora.
i have wipe system data cache but still not luck. In the boot i have just see the huawei logo.
any idea?

If you have ezet's Rom then you are at .32 kernel and need to install official Rom first. Just read my previous post. If not then sorry..
