I have a serious problem I have my
Galaxy Young GT -S5360
android Version 2.3.6
Kernel: 2.6.35.7 [email protected]#1
Compilacion: Hybrid DDLC# v 4.0
PDA: S5360DDLC3
PHONE: S5360BUTKI3
CSC: S5360ODDLA2
I used a indian rom and I lost my 3G ...I live in Ecuador but i used to have 3g on my phone, who can help me it is urgent, i only have 2g. My phone used to be s5360B but now it is just s5360. please help me, i have tried some roms, but my 3g does not appear.
Goto settings>wireless & networks>mobile network>network mode and select wcdma only.
You ll get ur 3G.

Did you check whether settings-mobile network-network mode is set to- auto (GSM +wcdma )!
If that doesn't help try flash the csc of your country via Odin! Or you may even reflash stock rom and start over!

I use a sim card, it means I am GSM.... in wcdma I have no signal on my samsung

I think i would be tha solution, someone says: Extract the modem from the firmaware, but I don t know how to do that, someone of you could extract the modem from Ecuador firmware???

Flashing stock rom is easy. you need Odin 1.85 , samsung USB driver and KIES installed on your PC.
.search "odin Samsung galaxy y" on google you will get some websites that will help you. Androidadvises.com site is Best.

pleASE HELP ME I need to fix this problem, wcdma does not work as 3g in Ecuador, and i nedd my 3g back, someone could give me the files to restore my phone please, i have odin help
flash back to stock rom using odin .ur problem will be solved. then u can always go back to ur custom rom after rooting.
Flash back to your regional stock ROM using ODIN and your network should be fine. Check out doky73's stock firmware packages in development section.
If it doesnt work too, you might need to network unlock using doky73's openlining tool

Wow am surprised no 1 helped you correctly yet anyways when you flash a Rom that isn't naive to your region you will have connection problems since the Rom contains region specific files for connection you will never hear this from those online third parties because they just don't know don't EVER listen to anything they say always come to xda that's where they get there info from anyways but they don't have the knowledge that you would get from the people here who actually make the files there using so anyways all you need to do is check here

that tread has a long lists of stock roms from different parts of the world and how to flash them simply go there find the firmware from your from and flash it I guarantee your problem will be solved

Update your modem to a 4.4.2 compatible one such as NA1 or NA5......
Could You help me with that- from where i can get those Modems ? Na1 or NA5 - im not very familiar with shortcuts -
I got my phone in Polish - Orange provider.
Do i need flash bootloader too ? I have flashed CWM on Original Android 4.2.2 then updated to This ROM

1. Install the custom rom. If u need the modem flash it later.
2. You are lucky person still having android 4.2.2. I recomend u flash one custom recovery through ODIN and flash a CUSTOM ROM there keeping the old bootloader :highfive:

sorry for the late respnse but your method gave the same result . The same failure and i dont know why.... i tried to install another rom and install over it the new moden and again gave me a failure. i dont know what to do.
for more detail information, i tried to flash my modem with the method above and with the odin method thai is said in a post.
And i tried to flash the modem:
*With my current rom 4.2.2
*Stock rom 4.2.2
*stock rom 4.2.2 from my carrier(Telcel)
*with the rom that i want (miu rom from miui.es)
*with the miuirom.es but i change the kernel and the wifi start to operate but the BT is dead
*with a previous wanamlite rom
So you can say that i have been busy but not results....

You can just flash the latest omega rom mate and make sure your doing a fullwipe so you wont get any problem later. And dont forget to make a backup first incase something will happen. About the modem , if your not having any problem with signal issue after flashing the v2x then no need to flash any modem. And Feel free to check sammobile for the modem you need that base from your country/provider and download the modem/lte from here and flash it via odin .

in the checking site are 4 ways, 3 are the mobile operators and one is BLG for my country Bulgaria and when i checked all 4 at the end are not XXUFNA5 like is in my phone now so what to do and which should i choose or do i need to change my, soon ill go in another country will this make problem with the modem if i get now this for my country tnx

Best thing you can do is stay on Fn5 modem then flash the latest version of Omega rom , If your having any Dropping signal issue then flash the modem base from your Provider , But feel free to flash the FNC4 modem since that's the latest one for your Country !

and i have done it like that just flashed the 28v rom in cwm and nothing more for now i dont have any problem with my old modem tnx
Hi guys, I have galaxy y s5360 and flashed a stock rom through odin. Now when I check IMEI there is nothing it shows and m unable to make any call as no network.
What should I do?

try the ril fix!!
try flashing the ril fix first (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2764389 ) (thnx to marcussmith2626) .if doesnt work then reflash the rom again via odin. u may can redownload the latest odin package and flash it again..
M not rooted.
So I cant flash ril.
Now what should be my steps?
Should I download the rom again Indian one and flash it?where can I find Indian 2.3.6 stock rom?

No need for root... Theres a method in the thread (link in above post) better follow it.. Its through cwm recovery..
If u cant understand what is cwm and bla bla :silly: then u better re download the odin package..

you need to provide more information
What rom are you using and kernel
You can either flash stock rom via odin (see my firmware thread at top of dev section or link in my signature)
Or you can use the correct baseband and kernel with the correct ril combination (again see my ril thread link in my signature)
I'm using CM11 Material and when I take SIM works good but when I interest it after logo stucks on bootloop
