Hi ai have a prophet. I tried to change its covers but i made an fatal error!!!!

You'll either need to get someone to look at it, or try and reverse whatever you did. You may need to get a new ribbon cable or maybe even a new screen.
Anyone got any idea where I can buy spare parts for the vega? My back button doesn't work which means I can't get into recovery. I need the circuit board that houses the hard buttons but can't seem to find anywhere that sells them.
Or alternatively would this be something that can be repaired?
can be repaired, they are just simple microswitches, i posted internal pics up here somewhere, if you want u can open it up and even short the switch button with a wire and that will easily activate the button. its very easy once u open it up and see wots going on. i also dont think your button is badly damaged, its probably just stuck.

The button can be pressed and to all intents and purposes it looks like it works only no action happens when you do press it.

Sorry I should have been more clear, I have had it opened up and know what all the stuff inside looks like. In fact the back button bizarrely stopped working when I replaced the screen inside after having stood on it and cracked it.
The button inside can be depressed but nothing happens, where on the circuit board to I need to put the wire to short circuit it?

I replaced my Hard-Buttons on my HD2 but the new Buttons dousnt work or work like my old defekt Buttons (the Green and the Start button in the middle)
Whats the Problem, how can it be? i serched the whole day but nothing! like my issue.
Please guys help me, ineed this button functionality to Flash.

faulty connector? faulty mainboard? If you replace the buttons and nothing gets better, then its some other problem.
i knew it...the board or the connector on board, but i cant belive it.
Is there a Chance for a soft/boot etc. prob?
Not working buttons I have met only on Android when I damaged swap. On WM I haven't got anything like this. As we know mainboard in HD2 likes to damage, so it can be this

My hardware Back button came off during a long flight from NYC. I managed to find the button but can't get it to reattach. It looks as if the prongs are still in place and should stay no problem, but I can't get it to seat. Is it possible I'm trying to seat it improperly? Also, can I just buy a new one? Any help appreciated.

You'll probably have a lot of trouble getting that back on, are you rooted?
youll have to replace the entire main flex cable the power button is attached to.
