Google has launched nexus 4 and 10
As expected no Spen, no 3g or micro sd card slot on nexus 10
Although Google postponed their Monday event, they did not postpone the announcement of their Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 devices. Today, Google launched the Nexus 10 with 16GB and 32GB versions. It comes with a 1.7 GHz Samsung Exynos 5250 processor, Mali T604 GPU, 2560×1600 pixel resolution, and Android 4.2. 2GB of RAM, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, a 5-megapixel camera, and WiFi are all included as well.
The 16GB version of the tablet will run customers $399, while the 32GB one costs just $100 more. It’ll be available on November 13th for customers in the following countries: United States, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada, and Japan.
More updates as I can get it
Google Nexus 4 details
The device features a 4.7-inch True HD IPS+ display with a 1280×768 pixel resolution, Gorilla Glass 2, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro, 2GB of RAM, wireless charging, and Android 4.2.
Availability has been announced for a number of countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, and Australia. It’s available in two editions— 8GB and 16 GB— with HSPA+ support. It’ll come unlocked from Google’s online Nexus store.
The Nexus 4 has been given a killer pricing of 299 without any contracts that a shocking price which will kill most of OEM produced android devices

The Viewsonic 10 inch "G-Tablet" discussed in the link below ($349 from Sears) has the Nividia dual core 1ghz Tegra 2 processor. It sounds like it has pretty decent hardware but lacking in software due to not being an official Google product and having a poor performing UI.
http://androidandme.com/2010/11/tablet/viewsonics-tegra-2-tablet-on-sale-now-at-sears-for-379/
Viewsonic G-Tablet specs include:
NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual ARM cortex (1Ghz)
Capacitive Multi-Touch/Multi Tasking panel
10.1” 1024 X 600 TFI LCD Screen
512 MB RAM, Mass Memory 16 GB
Mini USB x 1; Full size USB x 1
1.3MP Front –Facing Webcam
Earphone x 1
Micro SD card slot
2 x 1 W speaker
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
G sensor/Light sensor
Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
3500mAh/7.4V Li-polymer Battery Life 8-10 Hours
Slim design (267 x 173 x 14.3mm) Wt. 820 Grams
Buttons: Home/Back/Menu/Volume/Power
OS / Android 2.2
Headphone Jack
Built in Microphone
"Original information out of Viewsonic said this device would cost over $500, but Sears is selling a WiFi-only version that lacks the sim-card slot of the more expensive model. Some overseas models were also reported to include 1 GB of RAM, but the Sears unit is shipping with 512 MB RAM."
"The good news is that this tablet comes with Android 2.2, but that might be there the fun ends. This tablet was not certified by Google so it lacks all the Google Mobile Services including the official Android Market. Thankfully you can still sideload apps and alternative markets like SlideME."
You can buy the "G-tablet" here: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00382001000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1 Use the zoom feature on the picture to get a really good close up of the device buttons and LEDs etc. I like the clean and simple look. Three buttons is nice too and the Wifi only will work perfectly with a tethering Nexus One (see it's not OT). At $380 it is ~$120 cheaper than the equivalent iPad.
I think this would be a good candidate for dev support to take advantage of the hardware to root and optimize for 10" display. If developers are interested in rocking this device I am definitely picking one up.
Do you think developers would work with this device?
At the pricepoint they are selling it for, this device would be appealing if we have developer support.
Let's face it, developer support will be the deciding factor for a lot of people, almost (but not completely) regardless of the hardware...
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Let's also face it; it has nothing to do with the Nexus. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=824804
I might pick one up the next time I'm in there browsing the lawn mowers
Archos 101 for 299 is more appealing no ?
The cheaper but with more storage version of the wi-fi version will come out on April 10th.
Too bad the 3G version only comes with 16 GB on board storage (the GSM version of course).

Where did you see that? There was a wifi only galaxy tab rom which seemed to have the DSP code for OMAP3, but the samsung page says it's a C110:
www . samsung . com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab/GT-P1010CWAXAR-features
Wouldn't think there's much difference in price between a C110 and OMAP3 at this point.

I don't get this. I thought the specs of all 7" Galaxy tabs were 1024x600 with an A8 processor. But the wifi-only version is 800x480 with an omap3630, it appears from looking at the specs at Newegg. I had no idea the versions were so different.
That probably explains the huge difference in price
Sent from my E10i using XDA App
geez, you're better off getting a nook color then. same processor, better screen, no hard menu buttons, and very, very easy to root.
according to samsung's specs it's the same as the 3g versions: http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab-wifi-only/GT-P1010CWAXAR-features
The Samsung Homepage states that
Display is 600*1024
Processor is 1GHz A8 Cortex Processor.
I can't imagine them downgrading the Tab Wifi version in such a mayor way...
It's the same as GSM Tab, only without GSM...
It's absolutely not the same as a GSM Tab. I bought one, it's an OMAP3, it's really slow compared to the GSM unit I have. I'm returning it later today.
info
i bought a wifi only version yesterday, the processor is a TI not a hummingbird, but they are both ARM cortex a8 (i think) the screen and resolution are the same, the Graphics chip is indeed a power VR sgx530 instead of the power-VR sgx540 in the GSM version, and possibly there is a difference in the rear camera? not sure only what i heard but im taking it back today because on the box it doesn't say anything about changing the hardware, I'm very disappointed because it would be awesome if they kept the hardware the same but to put different hardware than the 3g version and try to pass it off as the same tablet with wifi only???? SHAME ON YOU SAMSUNG
Some proof via pictures/screenshots would be nice.

I saw pics online, the wifi tab HAS NO SLOT FOR SIM CARD. No way to make phone calls.
hello all,
i know this is a longshot but can the 'wifi' SGT be flashed for voice calls or is it lacking the hardware? just wondering, might buy one.
Should change the title of this topic. We know the SGT WiFi is *not* 32GB.

RAM is only for multi taking really. (random access memory) it would help with opening lots of apps in the background like a desktop, with the 1gb of ram, its not going to matter as much as the GPU has 72 cores, this is how i think of it anyways,

Fry's currently has these for $55 in store. Picked one up yesterday with the thoughts of using it with Yaste for my XBMC PC. The specs are listed as but Hardware Info reports the followin in "()".
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (4.1.1)
1.3GHz Dual Core Processor (ARM7 rev 1 v71 with 2 cores at 1032Mhz)
8GB Internal Storage
Expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card
8GB Cloud Storage Available
1GB RAM
7-inch HD 1024x600 Screen (6.55" 976x600 160dpi)
Google Play Certified (Yes all the Google apps and store work from the start, no junk store to deal with)
Front Facing 0.3MP Camera
Mini HDMI Port
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
(no bluetooth or GPS)
Performance and response times were extremely surprising. Battery life is short, but for $55 bucks worth every penny. Sale ends on 6/19 so if your looking for a cheap tablet to play with this may be what your looking for.
In the Middle East, the Jarir Bookstore has posted listings for both the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. While neither listing included a photo, the specs for each model were posted. This would be a good time to remind you to head over to your pantry so that you can take this story with the proverbial grain of salt. If you're on a salt-restricted diet, a pinch of Mrs. Dash will do just fine.
According to the listing for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the device will feature a Gorilla Glass 4 protected 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. Under the hood is the Exynos 7422 SoC, which includes an octa-core CPU. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB/64GB of native storage. Yes Virginia, there is a 128GB capacity microSD slot on the Note 5 for those requiring additional memory. A rear-facing 16MP camera is on board, along with a 5MP front-facing shooter. A 4100mAh battery powers the phablet, which has Android 5.1 pre-installed. The Galaxy Note 5 will be available in black or gold. Weighing in at 169 grams, the device measures 7.6mm thick.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ will also feature a Gorilla Glass 4 protected 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Exynos 7420 SoC will power the handset with an octa-core CPU and the Mali-T760 MP8 GPU. 4GB of RAM inside. 32GB/64GB of internal storage is inside and the back to front camera combo is 16MP/5MP. A 3000mAh battery keeps the engines humming, and Android 5.1 is pre-installed. Under expansion slot the listing says Not Specified, so don't count on expandable memory. The Galaxy S6 edge+ is 6.9mm thin and weighs 156 grams.
Pricing for both devices was not listed. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ will be officially unveiled on August 13th and the Unpacked event in New York City.

The Notes were/are really aimed at businessmen & women.
Early rumours about no SD were never substantiated.
I believe only the international version will have a micro SD card slot.

Ya know there is a thread already about this very topic.. Just not as specific to just the SD card.
And as expected no sd card expansion on the note 5
