Using stickmount. Works great. How do eject the USB drive safely? I unmount through stickmount but it always tells me that I didn't eject the drive safely once I remove it.

NM. For anyone interested you have to unmount through settings-storage.

You must use a FAT32 formatted drive.
If there are pictures, music and videos on there, the appropriate applications will find them.
To browse, use a file manager. I personally like Dual File Manager.
Thanks but where would I go to locate the USB

If you use Dual File Manager it will see /mnt/sdcard as your default directory. Hit the Android Back Button once and down at the bottom you should see "usb_storage"

I have my Fascinate backed up with Titanium Backup. There are a couple apps that are backed up that are no longer on the market. One is the ESPN Mobile app. How would I go about getting the app from my fascinate onto my Nexus 7? Thanks.
Anyone?
Restore the app to your SD card, plug into PC via USB mass storage, copy it to your desktop, plug in nexus 7 and transfer. May need root explore to install it and set permissions.

You can store APK's on the USB storage, and you can install them from there, but the installed app will be in the devices memory, not the external USB storage.
Thanks for your response. So theres no app out there to use the usb mass storage as a default location for a apk install ? Bummer.

I would verify the OTG cable works by trying a controller or another flash drive possibly, if you haven't already.
I had issues with getting my Sandisk flash drive to appear at first, but I got it eventually.
i also plan to buy a sandisk pendrive
and otg cable fro ebay ~
but dunno it working or nt
Do you have stickmount? If so when download stickmount make sure you go into the app and mount your chip. Should work
