I installed the 2.5 kernel Merruk Delux Edition more it bugs me aprensentou already reinstalled gave more in it, how can I trocala by another? already tried several ways and never can.

that is the reason why it is a dev edition,
so if you don't know what you are doing,
better don't install it,
i've been using it for 3 weeks,
it is rock stable,

there is a thread in the general section on how to install
I installed the stock kernel more she got the same error that the other accused Failed to mount / cache
E: Can not mount / chace / recovery / last_log

2.5 already in it works.

Please check the development thread for more info on bugs. And yes, it is stable for now. And i think you can play Temple Run. I don't exactly remember but i suppose there was a series of posts where maroc was testing the games which didn't work quite well before and now they were working fine.

I had try to custom floyo roms on my phone and its succes..,but why its so many bug and error.,for the sample, radio fm its dissapear.,camera cannt work,some application with force close sometime,flash player can instal but cant use and force close when me plug in its,n64oid cant instal,and its be reboot it self..,so many bugs..,its nice rom but to many bugs..,any one know what the best custom roms and where i can get it?..thank yours so much for give me a suggestion..

before you install custom rom,you should read what works and not working..and x8 cant use flash player...maybe you can try minicm rc2...the only thing that does work on it is compass..
try to factory reset / full wipe
for me,its really stable,only a few bugs,likes 'sdcard safe removed' issue after heavy-usage phone

Try miniCM. It's the most stable rom, atm. Compass dont work, but everything else does.
Issuse with sd card safe to remove is on all custom xperia series rom, due to custom kernel is not finshed yet, bootloader not cracked yet.

some of the things you mentioned aren't actually bugs, it's just we can't get flash and n64oid working on our devies, ony any roms, because the armv7 cpu is needed, these apps don't support armv6 devices. btw, you can install n64oid on 2.3 roms, however the app gets FC after loading a rom.

MiniCM is the best right now but dont jump to RC2 yet . there are a lot of other roms developed using minicm base like the nexus rom which have been uploaded by the devs . spend some time reading through the development forum to get the idea.
They all have the standard bugs tho. Elelinux is supposed to best in terms of random bugs but minicm has everything working including camera and hd video recording.
P.S - gingerbread roms are also really good but there are some sacrifices to be made there .
I tried to flash the kernel on a ICS 4.0.3 - CM9 italian ROM by entering ROM's initrd.gz into initrd-custom kernel directory, I did wipe cache partition and wipe Dalvik cache and flashed with these parameters :
YES - NO2way rec;
NO - sense or ICS;
YES - for install as step 2 choise;
NO - for install rom only for ICS;
YES - MAGLDR;
YES - Install Busybox;
YES - Install VPN fix;
YES - Install Zram virtual swap
but the phone got stuck going to open any app (I tried with ilmeteo.it with gmail and quick system info, but just started the app screen remained locked and the phone was restarted after about 30 "of freeze).
I also tried to flash using the zip file directly as issued by Dorimanx (after wipe cache partition e wipe dalvik cache) with the same result.
Is the kernel incompatible with ICS rom or I wrong to insert some parameters?

I had the same problems with v.4.1 but I'd put both vpn is zram...

Depending on what rom you use.
Choose ics init in script or replace one in the zip file with yours and select that one while flashing.

Up to now not.
The recovery log is not showing a issue.
You need to take a logcat when the issue happens while running your rom.

I did some research online and I still don't understand if it is possibile to install flash player on our phones. As I understand it, our phone does not support flash player, but there is a ported version of flash player which works on this phone. The question is, which one?

I have flash player 11 but works wery well on my x8.
Dont install FP as system app [wont work]. Just install and dont move to Sd card.

What do you mean? I don't move it to SD card, but I install it like any other app (using Astro or another file manager)

sure, remember extract the lib files and push to data / data / find the flashplayer files and put into the lib files inside. reboot the wipe cache , d. cache , reboot .

download files of ota update from jellyblast thread....only ota 2 &3 r needed....ota 1 not needed...
its given on first page ....
flash the zips via cwm...and do wipe cache and dalvik cache....

dont use statusbar mods...
their is bug on that....

what did you do?im stock in JBV3.0.2..whenever i flash the JBVOTA3 and boot..its stock in the Galaxy Y GT-S5360 Screen(Before the S Animation)and never continue..whats the problem?

Flash JBV3 works fine

I also want to know that if after installing a jellyblast V3 rom and installing chainfire 3D will it brick too ? And can I flash merruk kernel Final Version 1.0.8 before flashing merruk kernel Deluxe Edition via odin mode and how to install these kernels. Please give me the steps ( how to go into odin mode and how to install merruk kernel Deluxe Edition ), thanks for anyone who helps. :laugh:

Try the search feature offered by xda and you will get answer for all your questions ..
Flashing Rom and kernel won't brick your phone if you follow procedures correctly.
If flashing Rom was going to brick the phones then there wouldnt have a single custom rom in development section..

I have the GingerIceJelly v2 ROM / Galaxy Y Duos S6102 and getting this error while trying to install Google Play Services as required by other google apps. Any ideas (apart from full reset)?

Perhaps there is something else in this particular ROM which causes a conflict - unfortunately the error does not say which package is at fault. Has someone else with the same ROM (GingerIceJelly v2) managed with this recipe or suffering by it at all?

It did not help unfortunately. The gapps got installed as a version of youtube gets updated shortly after the installation. Then it comes to Talk/Hangouts but it has the same problem as before. Thanks for your help though - if you have another suggestion please let me know.

Extract the gapps zip, paste the files inside it (expect META-INF) to their apporiate location. After that go to CWM, wipe data, cache and dalvik cache. Then do fix permission and reboot. It worked on my Mom SGY using Hyperion 8.

Thanks - I got it working finally. I installed the gapps by CWM but had to wipe data which I wanted to avoid originally.

Download gapps (search Google or xda or my previous posts)
go into cwm
wipe data (you must wipe data or it won't work)
mount system data cache
flash the gapps zip
restart
open Google play (market app)
wait a while it will self update
download YouTube
open YouTube
click link to install Google play services
