Guys i have rooted my phone and have installed cwm. Is there any risk of bricking if i remove the sd card?? And if i reset factory settings now will it harm??

No it will not harm ur phn....but dont forget to unmount ur sdcard in settings before removing it....
And factory reset will wipe all ur personal data...

anyways,
just don't format the SDCARD,
factory reset while rooted can cause rare problems of bootloop depending what you changed on the system

Nope. No problem. Btw, if you're stock kernel, then it means that it's just a temporary CWM on your sdcard, which you boot into from the stock recovery. So don't format the sdcard.

If you want cwm with your new sdcard, just copy the zip file to ur new sd and flash(install) it. It is not a permanent one, just a temporary.

flash savies kernel or merrukks kernel. Use savies, because merruks kernel installation is little bit complicated (although mai77 has made a simple tutorial for it) and it it's not a final

Everyones tastes are different. So we can't say which is the best one. I use hyperion rom and savies#rev73 kernel..
Is the CWM with savies rev73 kernel not a permanent one???

Savie's latest kernel (rev73) has the permanent cwm. We have to mount the system before flashing anything. That's all.. I confirmed it by PMimg him..

There are some tweaks available for it.. I think in hyperion, he included these. And most of the latest ROM has these things.

maybe ur SD Card doesn't have enough space or ur RAM was used up??

Yes try flashing the stock rom first then install the IceCreambread & then try to backup .
I am also using ICB & i have already created a backup of ICB

nothing to worry mate just go http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800 download rour stock rom and flash via odin it'll be allright !
By the way are you sure it was stuck there at y logo because sometimes you'd need to wait as long as 5 minutes after fresh flash ! And what were you flashing ?

Reflash the rom
This time
MOUNT SYSTEM,DATA AND CASHE in cwm
And pleez don't use caps for everything

You should flash stock rom or use oneclicksigner and sign the settings apk then push to system and should work with tweaks if not then reflash stock rom then don't use the tweaks..
This happened to me when using adrenaline engine then I signed the apk and it worked

I don't think porting SDMergE400 would be so difficult to other L-series. However I have nothing to test on except my good old L3
After rooting my galaxy y i tried to install a custom ricovery "amonra" but after flashing this i reboot my phone and it stuck in the samsung boot image ... for unrooting and get in the previous form i flash my phone with odin but itz not working plzzz help as soon as possible plzzzzz

Install samsung usb drivers and then try.Maybe there is a problem with your usb cable.Try using another one and then try

Try doing a factory-wipe from the recovery. If you have CWM recovery, wipe dalvik cache. A /cache wipe won't hurt either.
If after doing these, and rebooting your phone, you are still stuck, THEN think about ODIN.

Flash custom kernel first! Google it! There are many custom kernel for sgy! Put the .tar file in PDA box! After flashing kernel try to flash fresh stock rom and dont forget to hit thanks if I helped!
