using chrome.
Great idea. Better yet though just keep an eye on this forum, any update is guaranteed to be posted here milliseconds after release

Really?? Look at the release date.
Thanks, mate! This will be helpful!

It's hard to select the GT-I9300 for the list. I'm using Google Chrome, by the way.
Whenever I scroll down the list, it just scrolls right to the top again before I can even find the GT-I9300. Maybe the 1 second refresh rate is interfering?

To resolve that, try not taking your finger off the list while you scroll down and finally make your selection. Worked fore on Maxthon browser.
I'm using firefox and it works flawesly on it

Nope, that doesn't work, unfortunately. The cursor jumps right back to the top even if I'm holding the scroll-bar down.

I just tried it on Internet Explorer and it works. I have no idea why it's not working with Google Chrome.
What is special about this? www.Samfirmware.com use this for a couple of months....
This is a live page and much easier to use really..
yeah problem is when you compare both websites samfirmware is most of the time faster...
funny idea but not usefull.. who casres about every second if a file is over 1GB.
Sorry but i do not think this is ''SPECIAL''

it's because of chrome (compatiblity with site) use IE and everything will be fine...

Am I blind or where is the live part?
This just shows the latest firmwares. I can't find any real live downloading, decrypting or uploading percentages. This is just a normal auto refreshing firmware list. Could easily use rizandroid or check fus page with a reload script in the browser to get a the same thing.
I call bs on the "live" feature here. Nice try though

Hi,
This is my first thread, i'm a student from Italy and blablabla enough talk!
The final exam of my school, i'm developing an Android application, specificatly a browser, a very simple browser.
It is only for a little demonstration, can you tell me if it all works or if it has big or strange bug?
Here the download for the .apk (Version 1.0 - 25 Giugno 2011, 5.49)
Send me your feedback, thanks!
Very basic
So far no bugs, but could you add a multi lang option? Tabs would be great and remove those ugly buttons at the too or you could make out pop up.

This is the version for the exam, now i'm working to make it better (both graphic and functionality).
Anyway, i'll keep you updated, thanks for now!
PS The tab aren't simple to handle (for me) but.. I will try, i promise
Wait.
This weighs around 28~kB. Keep it that way! I mean, if I was working on something that small I'd remove everything until only the necessary ones are left. Heck, I'd even make sure there's "no interface, just the web pages".
Gestures would be a nice way to implement this idea
Just my thoughts. I randomly remembered vimperator while reading this thread xD

My browser is beyond noticeably faster after the 3.2 update. How about yours?
It feels like I overclocked this thing, but I didn't. This definitely puts the Android browser in the lead for me. What about you.
Sent from my GT-P7510 using xda premium
Mine seems a bit faster but it is a lot more unstable. Crashes to desktop way more now.
I agree. Faster than 3.1's browser
Yes it does feel faster. I got some problems in the beginning with fc, but after clearing data and cache it works great now. No problems now
I have not noticed a speed improvement but I have seen a huge improvement on clicking links. Previously if I clicked on link that had links below and above, it would click on a different link.
Also, scrolling on web pages is now better, prior it would speed scroll when I did not want it to.
GIFs are still terribly slow and out of sync for me.

Oh yeah, did not even think about that, im not getting so frustrated anymore
Wish this update would come to the UK...
Yeah, the main improvement I've noticed is that the browser doesn't register link clicking above what you're trying to click. That was pretty goddamn infuriating on news sites and the like that are crammed full of links so I'm glad it seems to be fixed now.
---------- Post added at 01:51 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:48 AM ----------
Oh, and the new Allshare app is nice, I guess. It works, anyway
I noticed the link clicking accuracy as well. I've also noticed its more unstable, but I'm still realizing the performance boost.

wow.. this is very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some of the stuff shown is pretty nice. However, I'm not too keen on installing an apk that collects hardware information (they never specified exactly what) and sends it to the devs.
I'll wait until either a) the registration apk / the devs are vouched for, or b) the official app comes out and is vouched for.

Looks very slick indeed it depends on how much it costs when it is finally released on the market that SPB shell is a total rip off no launcher should cost as much as that.
I'm working on a theme and I need some help please.
Could someone take some screen shots of the dialling screen , general shots of how the tab looks when in a call ,like the buttons and functions . Large as possible both in portrait and landscape please as have a 3113 and do not have that function to see for myself. Be even better if you was willing to be a beta tester for my theme as well , just taking some screen shots so I can see mistakes I have made in the theme. General stuff like that.If you are unsure how to upload large screenshots, I can give you my Gmail and you could send me them that way if that's easier ?
What apps do you guys mainly use for calls ?
Thanks.
