My browser is beyond noticeably faster after the 3.2 update. How about yours?
It feels like I overclocked this thing, but I didn't. This definitely puts the Android browser in the lead for me. What about you.
Sent from my GT-P7510 using xda premium
Mine seems a bit faster but it is a lot more unstable. Crashes to desktop way more now.
I agree. Faster than 3.1's browser
Yes it does feel faster. I got some problems in the beginning with fc, but after clearing data and cache it works great now. No problems now
I have not noticed a speed improvement but I have seen a huge improvement on clicking links. Previously if I clicked on link that had links below and above, it would click on a different link.
Also, scrolling on web pages is now better, prior it would speed scroll when I did not want it to.
GIFs are still terribly slow and out of sync for me.

Oh yeah, did not even think about that, im not getting so frustrated anymore
Wish this update would come to the UK...
Yeah, the main improvement I've noticed is that the browser doesn't register link clicking above what you're trying to click. That was pretty goddamn infuriating on news sites and the like that are crammed full of links so I'm glad it seems to be fixed now.
---------- Post added at 01:51 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:48 AM ----------
Oh, and the new Allshare app is nice, I guess. It works, anyway
I noticed the link clicking accuracy as well. I've also noticed its more unstable, but I'm still realizing the performance boost.

first of all, it's dual, not duel. a duel is when you offend some bloke and then you shoot at each other, or stab each other to death. or be girls and slap each other with white gloves.
anyway, this phone is fast. loading pages cannot be a benchmark, since that depends on your connection. try playing some games, or using some cpu intensive apps. you'll see the difference.
and try not to troll. i mean wtf, your nexus one is faster than this phone. to quote the post above, as it really hits the spot: seriously!?
I don’t know if this is where you are seeing the difference.
I had a HTC legend and when scrolling web pages with a lot of images, I could never see the checker box appear. But in the SGS2 I see the checker box appear quite often, perhaps it's just me or the way the phone is set up, but either way it does not annoy me.
But when it comes to sheer speed the SGS2 eats the legend a million times over. The most noticeable difference can be seen when installing apps, the SGS2 is blazing fast!!

HTC Legend uses a CPU browser, while GS2 uses a GPU browser making it way smoother, but checkerboxes appears.
Download Opera Mobile or Dolphin HD or something to make the checkerboxes disappear.

Theres an andriod phone that does not have checkered boxes? I thought that was only in safari!
I can assure you that my sgs2 on 800mhz max cpu speed will out bench your nexus one any day.

Don't be put off! Odin is an app that you run on your PC, you connect your phone in download mode (turn off then hold down volume down, home and power), download a file and then click a couple of buttons.
It's a doddle, as long as you follow instructions.
Now, finding the correct thing to flash to your phone is a different matter completely!
Yeah don’t be put off. Rooting is easy. I was also scared at first, but it's basically a 30 second process. Try CF-Root, it's easy, just make sure you download the correct firmware for the rooting process.
So basically its the stock 4.0 browser with the chrome skin and no flash and as of yet no chrome plugin support. But try it out anyway.
Its never gonna support flash, just like android post-4.0

I've been using it since yesterday on the CM9 KANG in my P7500. Have to say I'm VERY impressed. Seems faster and more "desktop-ish" than the stock browser. It surely deserves a try!
working fine for me but.....
After fooling around I can't find any way to set the user agent to desktop. Is there a way, a tweak for that yet? That's quite annoying
Its ICS Only!
Well, if anyone here is not using any of the Kang CM9 ports on their GT10.1, then you don't know what you're missing. No reason for anyone to be stuck on 3.2.
No flash, no YouTube desktop site, no good.

Whenever I scroll down the list, it just scrolls right to the top again before I can even find the GT-I9300. Maybe the 1 second refresh rate is interfering?

Can I ask why does viewing angles matter so much?
The problem is that rendering doesn't happen at the correct resolution, causing stretching and blurry fonts at smaller sizes with the latest Chrome and Chrome Beta in the Play Store. A fix is inbound and scheduled for the 26 release.

It's a confirmed bug on many different devices: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=174699
The difference isn't that big but it lacks a lot of sharpness. I've been using this phone for almost a month now and all rendering in Chrome is less sharp since the m25 update.
Sent from my C6603 using xda premium
Hi Ambroos,
Went to the link describing problem as well to the website and about section you suggested. You can check screenshots, everything looks rendered good for me.
On a link describing problem I have noticed that they're writing about Chrome 25.0.1364.64, but mine is 25.0.1364.123. Maybe Google already taked care of incorrect font rendering with this small update. I have updated Chrome as soon as I received notification so they've been very fast if this is the case.
Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk 2
Well it's really hard to see on those crappy Tapatalk screenshots, but all Chrome 25.x versions suffer from the same issue. Most people probably won't notice, because of the pixel density it's not that obvious, but if you compare the text rendering at (really) small sizes with Firefox for example you'll see a huge difference in readability and sharpness.
Beta 26 is awesome
