experiencing: apps blinking?

sometimes my apps blinks fast that i cant click it. it will.continue to happen till.i.press home button.

hi guys
it is not force closing . its just blinking . you can see the app first then turns to black screen . then the app again . then black screen . in a fast manner. im in hyperion pre gm.

ah I have a solution, when u open the app then the app blinking, press and hold the home button, then click Task Manager, then do a Clear Memory. Press back button, then u will back to homescreen. wait for a moment, than try to open that app again. Wala! that app wont blinking again...
I already try it in CoD rom use repencis kernel and adrenaline engine...

my experience, that time when I use CoD Rom, then I flash the merruk 2.5. after I do that nothing happen. then I flash adrenaline 4.4 but I got my phone blinking when I open antutu benchmark. then I do that method and that solve. because that, i think what make it blinking because too many tweaks at init.d, I see many tweaks in my init.d
it just my opinion. I dont know what exactly make it blinking...

i have rooted my phone and installed kernal and Rom also ! the prob is i cant install any apps like link2sd whn i try to install phone switch on frm the logo ! how to fix this ! any suggestion

plz mention the rom and kernel u instalked...
some roms have got some bugs with these apps...
i can't help u untill u give full info abt what ur prob is...!!

may be prob with ure kernel or rom ..go to stock and flash jbv3 which has kuro kernel the stable one..moreover rom is also stable...i am using it so it is my advice to u to use it....

No they wont..coz u will loose root.
But there are minor possibilities.!

I dont exactly know about it but flashing anything increases flashing counter(which is der in ur cell) so they may come to know.
But there is an app to reset that counter.
And saying thanx isnt enough, press it.!

U hv to reset the custom bin count......go to sir doky's thread or see his signature........he has made a file to reset the custom bin.....

After doing that...
Go to Odin/download mode.. by volume down + power + home button combo..
Then see if your counter is more than 0... if its 0 and saying Samsung official...
Then no problem.. just go to service centers.. they won't be able to discover..
But if it is more than 0 in custom bin counter.. then go to themes & app section in this forum...
And download galaxy toolbox app made by doky73 to reset counter.. and it works.. don't worry... I have done it too..

After reset... it still won't show Samsung official... for that just flash a firmware update from Odin... and you are good to go..

HELP !!! my galaxy y system storage memory was full . Now I was not able to update my phone and it doesn't install any tweaks , apps etc through cwm also not able to back up my stock rom . I want to install custom rom but hesitate due to this .What should I do ??? please help give me solution .
Thanks but i uninstall all app expect xda app also do factory resert but it doesn't help me also my sgy is rooted ( i get this information from romtool box pro >app manager >all app )

Firstly dont hesitate in installing any custom rom as the rom that are available in xda are used by thousands if us..n the dev that make these roms are highly intelligent..
U can use any rom
N for memory full please remove some apps that are not used by you.

uninstall unnecessary apps. transfer some apps to sd card via linktosd (u can download it from google play but u need rooted phone). Or u may flash a kernel supporting a2sd and move all apps to sd card .search for it.

first install link2sd from playstore and than link ur apps to sdcard...
and uninstall apps like maps,youtube from system....this will free up the system memory....

I install jellyblast v3 custom rom but my sgy sucks at the jellyblast v3 boot animation (starts bootloop) then i flash sgy by obin .Now system storage is not full . Should i again try to install jellyblast rom again as in my previous try bootlooping starts ??? help me please ........

follow the flashing instructions sequence wise and do remember to wipe cache and dalvik cache in cwm after installation of jb......

Be on latest firmware.
Follow the instruction.
Dont forget to perform full wipe in cwm.
And u r done.!

yess flash the ota updates in sequence i.e 1 2 3 and than 4....
after that wipe cache & dalvik cache and than reboot.....

Help !!! Insivible beat manager widget on home screen
I updated jellyblast v3 according to instruction to 4.1 update but Beats manager widget is invisible on home screen even in beat manager setting I made it 100% opaque I am not able to apply beat manager equalizers . Can i install dsp manager if yes then tell me how fix this bug please ....

before going to service center reset bin counter and unroot it

I had this problem before... I got rid of it by flashing stock and then a deodexed stock... or try flashing some custom rooms back to back...( Odin it of course! )

Try clearing the sys partition and flash a deodexed stock. This actually did the job for me.

Like TeeJay I also had this problem temporary and all of a sudden the camera got to work again but I xan't remember if I changed anything so it's definitely not dead permanently, just try the tips the others gave you and see if it will get solved, always put service center as the last option.

Try to wipe data and cache and re-install kernel...
It is surely a driver problem
Ps:Before that please check with custom camera app other than stock camera like try camzoomfx etc

Also Try to connect phone to pc and start logcat and monitor your phone logs.Now start camera app.This Error should occur and immediately view your logcat log.
There should be some pretty red lines there copy it and pm me that log.
Ps:Try that in case my above method does not work

Don't do ext4 thingy cz I never did that... did u clear everything?? ( except SD ) and did u mount??
Try restoring the sys/ part from a nandroid backup...
Even in custom roms it doesn't work?? ( don't think it would.. )

*u sure its nt the rom bug u are talking abt
* is it happening in every rom u flash

i tried to link a few apps on my Y through link2sd but i get the following error message

I had the same problem few weeks ago and was unable to fix it.
But you can try Amarullz Script, this is perfect for me.
Im using hells 50 + evo 3.

Ok buddy,
Ive installed evo x3 from a fresh stock, then boot up 1 time.
After that installed all Ota updates from rom, another reboot and setup rom.
Then installed hells fusion 50#.
Reboot, put amarullz script
Give permissions rwx r-x r-x.
Reboot two times.
First reboot takes few minutes, second is a bit faster.
For detailed instruction read his thread.
I can live with longer boot time,
because i got more space.

My fault sorry.
extract the zip and put the 40ad2sdx manually in init.d folder and ggive right permissions.
That should work.

Remember do everytime a backup if you change something, it saves a lot of time in the worst case
Some of your data will be moved to your 2nd partition in sdcard with this script.

I tried to instal.... It didn't restart even after 20 mins... So I reflashed my rom.

Did you checked that something of your data moved to sd ext?

No... But It didnt even restart the first time... So... Ill try after a fresh flash once.
