Well, yup. The time has also come for me to leave this nice, cool and awesome community and move to another. The best part of all is that I'm not "moving" far away - I still bought a Sony phone, simply because they are awesome.
So yeah, I bought an Xperia S for a few personal reasons:
- I stopped using the PSP controls for games simply because I got bored of these advanced games (so now I casually play simple games like Angry Birds, Little Alchemy and Temple Run)
- As I aged a little bit and advanced further into studies I realised I need another kind of phone, one that should satisfy my needs *as XPlay did for one year and a half* (good digital camera replacer, better specs, more internal space, FM radio and a few others) - I know that XPlay can still be used as a multimedia phone, but I just feel I need something else
- I heard Xperia S will receive Nexus-like updates in the future - well, considering I wanted to buy a Galaxy Nexus before I heard these news just for this matter, consider it another reason
Well, there could be a few other reasons, but these are the mose essential. It was nice to meet you all, I must give a big thanks to developers and a few other users who made this phone from awesome to extraordinary! Thanks for eveything and have fun with your phone even further.

Also, assuming price isn't an issue, why didn't you for an HTC One X or SGS3? nothing wrong with the Xperia S but it isn't that much of an upgrade.

I bought Xperia S because I like the design, the camera, the screen and also because I bought it at a limited offer.
All I could say is that I still miss my XPlay, but life moves on, and I needed a different kind of phone.

Same! I was thinking about putting emulators on the PSVita I'm getting for Christmas... But I kinda want to be able to use the PSN so I can play PSO2 when it comes out. I still have my old LG Vortex in hand too.
I'm going to be honest, I LOVE the design of Sony Ericsson phones, but I don't wanna have to pay again to unlock another phone's bootloader. I want to have a nice, non-slide, phone that can flash kernels for free.

You can use PSXperia to convert roms/games you own into payable ps1 games now (or risk getting a nasty letter in the mail if you download ones you don't and covert them). It works great with 2.3.3.

Mine got broke in a fight, the only thing wrong with it though is a grey line down the left and some ghost effect on the screen, but for now I don't think it needs replacing.

So for future reference, you should not use your Xperia play to block fists/elbows/knees/kicks, it will break your screen...

It looks great ,actually its better than the SGS3 at&t version in hardware aspect , yet I'm fried that it'll be costly and unable to ,, unlook ~so you can download paid app 4 free ,for a while, I believe that Nokia took out the SD card so u can't unlook, also I'm fried that Nokia will dump it year later as the Luma 900 ?so r u optimistic about it? Currently I have no money, so I'll wait for the next iPhone ,Note2, HTC new power full device, log optimus G, and of course the Luma

WP8 will remain supported for a while (2 years or so)
No, you can't unlock it, and you shouldn't unlock it unless you are a developer. Paying for your apps is something you should do, because these apps do not write themselves.
Actually, no, I'm not afraid that WP8 might make it harder to steal apps, because I don't intend to steal anything in the first place. If money is a problem for you, get a mid-range Android and enjoy the fact that many of the apps are free.
The thing is Android become very boring ,so the iOS , I would like to try a new OS without my freedom gone, probably I'll stack to Android

Your scum and are destroying the industry just look at the PC games market. I love the idea of hacking a phone to unlock it to side load apps that are otherwise not available but to do it to rip of hard working underpaid devs is nothing but cheap nasty and chav! If you cant afford it get a better job or get something cheaper, I mean if you can afford a nice new wp8 handset you can affor 79p for an app.
