You can use PSXperia to convert roms/games you own into payable ps1 games now (or risk getting a nasty letter in the mail if you download ones you don't and covert them). It works great with 2.3.3.

Yeah, i used psxperia, but i have updated my phone to 2.3.4 already. And i think games in pspocket are perfect. I guess so. Is there any way that i can gain access to it? I heard it is working in uk and in japan.
What playstation logo? I do not see a PlayStation logo on my Xperia Play.

Because what i think is most of the xperia play has a square circle triangle cross on the controller.

Thats not the playstation logo idiots, the playstation logo is the 3D PS logo, the logo with the button symbols is the playstation certified logo. The PS store will be launched with the PSP Vita, until then kindly shut up, i think the whole community is sick of certain noobs moaning 24/7.

Just nothing to do right now, but got a thought on my mind. Having come from the HTC Magic, I found the conversations in this forum quite polite. Posters saying "thank you" after a reply etc. At the Magic forum, I see people using more * words, and being totally impatient for someone to answer whatever query they have.
Maybe the X10 cost more and brings a more mature crowd? Or is this generally true for owners of Sony Ericsson phones? Just a thought.

People need to remember Steve Jobs didn't just work at Apple, he worked at IBM back in the day and had a hand in Pixar as well as many more things. He isn't just Mr iPhone. If it wasn't for Apple, Windows wouldn't be what it is today and Android wouldn't be half as good, that's if it even existed. (yes I know Android started before Google bought into it but would Google have bought it if there was no iPhone?)

Im fed up waiting for any decent games from sony, I love the play as a phone so will be keeping it to use as a decent android phone but I don't think we will see anything from sony now. We have been led on from the start, what a shame. They proved they could do it with a few titles but nothing since crash really. Feel totally ripped off. Opportunity wasted.

I dont even bother with it anymore, i use my phone as a phone, and on occasion, play a quick game here or there, but half of the games i play anymore are regular old android games from the market, hell, i dont remember when the last time i used the game pad was!

Well, yup. The time has also come for me to leave this nice, cool and awesome community and move to another. The best part of all is that I'm not "moving" far away - I still bought a Sony phone, simply because they are awesome.
So yeah, I bought an Xperia S for a few personal reasons:
- I stopped using the PSP controls for games simply because I got bored of these advanced games (so now I casually play simple games like Angry Birds, Little Alchemy and Temple Run)
- As I aged a little bit and advanced further into studies I realised I need another kind of phone, one that should satisfy my needs *as XPlay did for one year and a half* (good digital camera replacer, better specs, more internal space, FM radio and a few others) - I know that XPlay can still be used as a multimedia phone, but I just feel I need something else
- I heard Xperia S will receive Nexus-like updates in the future - well, considering I wanted to buy a Galaxy Nexus before I heard these news just for this matter, consider it another reason
Well, there could be a few other reasons, but these are the mose essential. It was nice to meet you all, I must give a big thanks to developers and a few other users who made this phone from awesome to extraordinary! Thanks for eveything and have fun with your phone even further.

I bought Xperia S because I like the design, the camera, the screen and also because I bought it at a limited offer.
All I could say is that I still miss my XPlay, but life moves on, and I needed a different kind of phone.

Same! I was thinking about putting emulators on the PSVita I'm getting for Christmas... But I kinda want to be able to use the PSN so I can play PSO2 when it comes out. I still have my old LG Vortex in hand too.
I'm going to be honest, I LOVE the design of Sony Ericsson phones, but I don't wanna have to pay again to unlock another phone's bootloader. I want to have a nice, non-slide, phone that can flash kernels for free.
