I have some epubs and mobis on my computer that I really want to get in the Google books app. I love the way it displays text on the screen. Any help?

You can't upload your own books to Google books, that's why I use kindle

I recommend fbreader (there are other options).
Kindle ui while reading the book is just worse than gbooks in my opinion. It doesn't use all of the screen, and the font is worse

Wonder what would happen if you loaded them into Google drive, ,maybe the application picker would come up if it detects the epub format. Just a shot in the dark

Use aldiko. Its free and reads most format. Works good for me.

Where are the mags stored ? Anyway if they are accessible can you take the photos out ?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
You can download the content and store it locally. While in the viewer you have the choice to see the magazine as it was printed or in a text-only version. You can switch back and forth easily while reading.
I have already downloaded 3 mags offline ,my question was where are they stored ? The google mag folder only has one file

They are probably downloaded to a folder within the app and in a format that is unreadable by any other app. They could also be hidden to prevent you from sharing them with others.
When I want a picture from a magazine, I simply go into the magazine & then screen shot it. Easy peasy.
One thing I have noticed they are huge files, I don't think you can access them anywhere within the tablet

The screen capture works fine if not a little fiderly

Screen shot is probably your only option as you are dealing with copyrighted content that the publisher likely wants to prevent people from using as they please.
BTW, if that's you in your avatar you are smoking hot. Just sayin'.

Does anyone know of a browser/extension/add-on that can have multiple pdfs open at one time? Ideally I would like to have like 4 pdfs open and switch between them with the click of a tab like how it would be done on a computer browser. Thanks.

Unfortunately it seems that with iannotate you can't access to the pdf stored in the sdcard, or maybe i'm wrong? I didn't find any way to do that...
I will check it out

I think that the app "floating apps" might solve your problem. Just open 4 different .pdf files in different windows.
After the download of the app you will have to download the pdf-module as well.
Best regards
Hey all. Until recently every time i tried to view a video using the Facebook app i would get a pop-up menu, from Es file manager app i think, which gave me the option to download it or view it with mxplayer or with the native viewer etc. It also had two options to use this choice once or all time. For some time now this menu hasn't been appearing at all. Any idea how to restore it please? I run rastakat 4.4.2. Thanks

You can go into the said apps defaults then change them. For example settings / apps / scroll to mx player then clear the defaults at the bottom of the page. I think this is what you mean.
