I have some epubs and mobis on my computer that I really want to get in the Google books app. I love the way it displays text on the screen. Any help?

You can't upload your own books to Google books, that's why I use kindle

I recommend fbreader (there are other options).
Kindle ui while reading the book is just worse than gbooks in my opinion. It doesn't use all of the screen, and the font is worse

Wonder what would happen if you loaded them into Google drive, ,maybe the application picker would come up if it detects the epub format. Just a shot in the dark

Use aldiko. Its free and reads most format. Works good for me.

You can email them to yourself, or setup dropbox. I personally recommend dropbox, it rocks.

Box is just like dropbox but so much much better plus you get 50gb of storage space you can't beat that

Can anyone recommend a SMS text option app or service that might be on the 7 already I'm missing. Tired of doing the tiny brain thing switching back and forth with the phone. Thanks!

? Tablet Talk?
I use Google voice and I have it on the phone too so everything syncs nicely

Where are the mags stored ? Anyway if they are accessible can you take the photos out ?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
You can download the content and store it locally. While in the viewer you have the choice to see the magazine as it was printed or in a text-only version. You can switch back and forth easily while reading.
I have already downloaded 3 mags offline ,my question was where are they stored ? The google mag folder only has one file

They are probably downloaded to a folder within the app and in a format that is unreadable by any other app. They could also be hidden to prevent you from sharing them with others.
When I want a picture from a magazine, I simply go into the magazine & then screen shot it. Easy peasy.
One thing I have noticed they are huge files, I don't think you can access them anywhere within the tablet

The screen capture works fine if not a little fiderly

Screen shot is probably your only option as you are dealing with copyrighted content that the publisher likely wants to prevent people from using as they please.
BTW, if that's you in your avatar you are smoking hot. Just sayin'.

I've had my nexus 7 for a while now, and I want to take notes on it for class. I am in high school. My uses an app called "good notes" on his iPad, and I was wondering if any of you know of any apps I could use for class.

ColorNote
ColorNote is real nice and easy to use and sync's between my phone and tablet.
I'm loving it!
Take a look at Catch Notes - http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.threebanana.notes&hl=en.
You can 'link' it to your Googlemail/Gmail account... and any 'notes' thus created will be synced across all your Android devices.

Kingsoft office.... free office site.

U got to search for 1 and 2 but I didn't find CD.

Are they HD? it should be obvious from the size of the apk if not from game play.

You could sideload RetroArch
Two actually says HD.

Is the performance jump from the standard version of 1 significant enough to sacrifice the storage space. I'm curious because I have the original, CD and both 4 installed via Amazon apps but am considering the upgrade.

If u are real pressed for space no but to be able to play with a controller makes it feel like play the first sonic games when I was a kid. So if your a real hardcore sonic fan yes otherwise wait until they let you use a USB stick for more space.
